Valkiir's SATCOM Has retasked several weather satellites and two storm chasers to monitor the storm as it intensifies. In addition, Satcom has made decryption algorithms for all meteorological and climate data channels of the integrated satellite network available to any and all nations. Areas that are known to STACOM be restricted access/militarily sensitive, by A nation's authorities are excluded from all transmissions that would reveal any significant details on those regions.
STACOM in generally does not routinely gather data on sensitive or restricted areas without direct orders, and consultation with the Republics International Law/Relations review, and Ministry of State. NAtions wishing to exclude specific locations may make there wishes known to the Department and/or Ministry of State through the nearest Valkiiri Embassy.

DINAE - Dipartimento Nazionale delle Emergenze
Official Update from the National Department of Emergencies
During the last few hours there has been a considerable increase in the forces of the storms that currently plague Ruvonia. Winds in the capital city of San Filippo have been reported to exceed 85 km/h (53 mph) while some of the lower zones of the city have been suffering minor floods. Thankfully, no fatal or seriously injured victims have been reported yet. Many structures have been damaged, mostly due to the fall of branches and trees on roofs and other facilities, Most notably, the antenna of one of the country's most popular radio stations collapsed this afternoon, leaving the entire city without coverage and with many blaming the radio for keeping the antenna with deficient maintenance and endangering the health and property of close-by home owners. The total evacuation of the damaged buildings have been already conducted, and all services of the state are now closed and attending only to emergencies.
It is clear that the most affected area of the country is the Terra Nuova province, where the strongest winds recorded reached the 200 km/h (124 mph). Due to this the DINAE has updated their alert for the province to a Red one, meaning that maximum precautions have to be implemented by all citizens living in this area, leaving home, unless when its absolutely needed is discouraged. Emergency services have been deployed to the province to provide immediate help to anyone needing it.
The city of Thorntoria has so far suffered the most, as it's right in the middle of the path of the storm, the fall of trees, roof blasting and the collapse of small structures have been reported throughout the city. A large number of streets have also been flooded, making it difficult for emergency services to access various areas of the city and generating millions in losses for local residents. Around 60% of the city is also suffering blackouts. 4 people have been reported missing and several have been injured. So far, no deaths have been documented.
Governor Salvemini (C) has issued a Level 3 hurricane alert for the entire island of Verantique and surrounding islands after a Categrory II hurricane intensified into a Category III hurricane.
The Monterosso Weather Center has assigned the name of the storm system as Hurricane Melissa, expected to make landfall tomorrow evening on the islands.
The educational boards of all departments have suspended all classes and school activities for tomorrow. Several universities and colleges have also suspended classes.
Hurricane evacuation centers are being set up and a mobile command center has been set up in Monterosso, San Juan, and Ponce.
All airports on the island were closed immediately but transport such as the Monterosso light-rail and the San Juan Tren Urbano are expected to continue operations until 4 p.m. tomorrow afternoon.
Travelers are advised to remain sheltered and if possible, extend length of accommodations. The Immigration Ministry of the Overseas Region announced that all short-stay visas and entry permits will be extended for the duration of the storm, until airports and ports reopen.
Renaissance Cruise Line, the largest cruise company in Medoynia and Verantique has suspended cruises to the island and is moving its ships away from port.

Form all the nations that can't help, I thank Valkiir for doing a perfect job that should be noted and applauded."

Nanakian Embassy to Medoynia
To concerned authorities
According to Nanako's embassies services policies, it is a duty for our consular administration to provide our nationals abroad a mean to leave the country they are in if they need to do so, and if they are not subject to a local judicial warrant. Many citizens of our country have demanded help form our services and we are very much obliged to answer thier whises given the situation they are having on Verantique. In order to do so, we would like to book 22 seats on the upcoming flight from Verantique fully charged on our Service, as soon as the airport is up-and-running.
If first solution is not possible, we would like to, in collaboration with Nanako Airlines, open a special route from Nanako to Verantique to provide transport to anyone in need, inculding Verantique locals. Given the situation, the ticket price would be reduced to around $340 (would be at least $600+ normally).
I was also tasked by my government to address to you a support message to all of your citizens suffering form the hurricane and its aftermath. In order to show it support and to follow the Valkiiri inspiring model, Nanako is willing to offer humanitarian help in the shape of a special NSDF team specialized in disaster relief, a unfortunately common thing to some of the parts of our country. The team would offer engineering support in the relief of road, electric and water network infrastructure and will be capable of establishing a fully working field hospital in remote isles. Team would be deployed by your special authorisation by military air transport.
Republic of Medoynia Communiqué
Prime Minister Éric Dupont | October 19, 2019
Per the requests of the Nanakian embassy, the Government of Verantique has arranged for 22 seats on the next departures of commercial service—a Cabo Airlines service from Monterosso (MSO) Airport to Mariobo-Hollande (MAR) Airport on the 20th of October and an onward Nanako Airlines flight from Mariobo-Hollande (MAR) to Hokuto (HIA).
Due to the nature of the event and the efficiency in repatriating visitors back to their points of origin, all flights operating from the island, beginning on the 20th of October, will exclusively handle the repatriation of foreign nationals and Medoynian nationals back to their points of origin.
As all flights are chartered by the Medoynian national government, there is no cost associated. However, we would like to inform that original bookings of flights proof (itinerary or reservation confirmation), a valid or expired passport (within 1 week of expiry), and valid or expired authorization to stay in Verantique (within 1 week of expiry), must be presented at the airport.
Should Nanako be interested in operating its own charter flights, authorities are working hard to restore operations at other Verantique airports such as San Juan-Luis Muñoz (SJU).
If there are any additional questions, the Government would be happy to provide answers or further assistance.

Public housing subsidy cuts in the province of Apulia have caused massive public outcry. Apulia is one of the poorest provinces in the nation, despite being one of the nation's tourist hotspots. Rent prices, which have been steadily growing in recent years, have been diffused in part, thanks to provincial subsidies for low-income and middle-income residents.
With the massive subsidy cuts by Governor James Michellin-Castellini (C)'s government, families are expected to have to make up an average of $90 devises in lost subsidies per month in rent.
Protesters swarmed the city centers of Bari, Taranto, Lecce, and Brindisi, the four major cities of the province. The provincial capital of Lecce was particularly affected, with provincial government offices vandalized. A sit-in at public housing projects was also organized but was ended by local police forces quickly. So far, 26 protesters have been detained by local police and another 7 have been arrested but yet to be charged.
Governor Castellini (C) called the subsidy cuts "necessary to ensure the well-being of the province."
