Geez, I decide to beat Zetox to the punch and everyone explodes.

yep that's how it goes. Just two people posting random things as the real main active players jumped ship as it sunk. With a tight leash on elected officials, constant legislative blocks (because the things that would improve the region by getting rid of the dysfunctional laws, go against the dysfunctional laws). Nevermind the appointed officials enjoying the quietness from the comfort of their unearned non-elected seats, it's no wonder the ship sunk. If anything a better system would of been to have the citizens nominate three officials to an appointed office then have the President pick from the nomination pool.

we have all these dysfunctional laws but nobody to follow them, weird

For the record, I am one of those "Unearned" leaders who are trying to put this region together and pick up the pieces. Your ideas are noted However as we try to put things together.

Wrong! This Union is strong and will get stronger again!!

So earlier, I wanted to buy something I was running low on, but the exact item matching the one I already owned is Made in China, so I made the extra effort to look for something similar that wasn't Made in China. It's slightly smaller than the other one and won't last me as long, but it's Made in Indonesia and owned by a Japanese company, so my conscience is clean.

I urge everyone around the world to follow my example and make the world a better place one little bit at a time with your actions, however small. China has managed to cast an extremely wide net on the global economy over the past 20+ years, so this won't be easy, and you might not always succeed with every single product all the time especially if you feel that your standard of living may suffer noticeably, but some of the time is still better than nothing.

You don't have to throw out anything that's Made in China that you already own, but at least try to replace used or broken items with non-Chinese equivalents as much as possible and try to limit, in part or in whole, your use of services that have either direct or indirect ties with China, such as Disney or TiKToK. Only purchase or use Star Wars products and services that are not owned by Disney in any way. And if you value your privacy and civil liberties, definitely stay away from WeChat. They've been caught spying on users.

Boycott the People's Republic of China. Consign the Communist Party to the trash bin of history. Free Hong Kong. Free Tibet. Free East Turkestan. Support Taiwan Independence. Support freedom for all Chinese People. Honor all those who have died of the COVID lab-leak virus due to communist incompetence, "saving face", criminal negligence, and an outright refusal to take any responsibility for its actions.

If you are able to do so without fear of official reprisal (I'm not), write your local MP, senator, or representative telling them how you feel about China's behavior and urge them to vote to impose absolutely crippling, Russia-style sanctions on the communist regime and all of its supporters and associates at home and abroad. Also write your leaders and ministers. Write your local businesses big and small, urging them to pull the plug on China and relocate their factories and operations to India, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, and other friendly or neutral countries. Sign petitions and stage demonstrations to really drive the point home that it will no longer be business as usual until the communist regime either liberalizes politically or is overthrown in a revolution.

But always be sure to distinguish between the communist regime and the Chinese people as one would Vladimir Putin and the Russian people, although I'll admit I personally find this difficult in practice given just how many Chinese, including Chinese who are not even from China and members of my own extended family, openly and enthusiastically back the communist regime and engage in transnational repression of other Chinese, Taiwanese, Hong Kongers, Tibetans, and Uighurs living abroad, with some individuals even committing outright treason and espionage in some cases. Exiled dissidents and other Chinese expats have been blackmailed into silence due to having family back at home, and some have even been kidnapped and brought back to China against their will. People have been harassed, abused, and assaulted by CCP supporters in the streets of European and American cities and the campuses of European and American universities simply for criticizing the Chinese communist regime. Also, note that Mark Zuckerberg's wife is Chinese. Make of that what you will.

This is hugely personal to me. I'm from Hong Kong and I will not rest until HK is free and anyone who is even remotely responsible for its total political and cultural annihilation and the ongoing misery and suffering of the people of Hong Kong are brought to justice for their unforgivable crimes. Sic semper tyrannis.

Unfortunately, my personal circumstances ensure that I am in no position to do anything other than discreetly boycott PRC or PRC-affiliated products and services, remain strictly anonymous, and type this call to action behind a VPN, whereas those of you who live in freer parts of the world can do so much more with your time.

Know that by refusing to buy or use Made in China, you stand firmly on the right side of history.

Choose freedom over tyranny. Live free or die.

P.S. I have serious reservations about buying or investing in Tesla. Elon Musk has factories in Shanghai. But aside from that, he's currently attempting to liberate Twitter from the woke, censorious mob and has deployed satellites directly above Ukraine to provide internet access to everyone below. He's also keen to colonize Mars and expand humanity's horizons. So he's been doing a lot of good around the world and I want to give the guy a chance to prove his worth.

P.P.S. Rinse and repeat all of the above with Russia. Putin has to go too. By destroying pastoral and agricultural assets in Ukraine, he is condemning millions of people around the world to starve to death. He and Xi (due to irresponsible and ever-worsening "dynamic zero-COVID" lockdowns despite an ostensible drop in daily COVID cases) are also responsible for the cost-of-living crisis, supply-chain bottlenecks, and spiraling inflation around the world, as well as the total collapse of Sri Lanka's economy previously made fragile due to investment in China's Belt-and-Road initiative and the associated debts incurred.

Russia and China's actions negatively impact ALL OF US in some way, shape, or form. Boycotting, divesting from, and sanctioning these countries would be in everyone's best interests.

Yo Biden. Stop using a foreign K-pop group as your political prop and focus on defending Taiwan and Ukraine like a good statesman. Yo Reuters. Stop spreading misinformation about the massage parlor massacre. That was a misogynist hate crime, not an anti-Asian hate crime. Stop promoting the idea that blaming China for COVID is racist and stop worrying that merely telling the truth about the origins of COVID and China's role in the emergence of the COVID pandemic may get certain groups of people in serious trouble.

Just f*cking tell the truth. Lying about sh*t and covering for China's ass and blindly promoting their COVID false narrative isn't going to help anyone, Asians least of all. Anyway, a disproportionate number of anti-Asian hate crimes in recent years have been committed by black and brown people, not "white supremacists". It's entirely possible that black and brown people are jealous of our success in life and it's entirely possible that BLM has played a huge role in inciting anti-Asian violence, particularly after George Floyd's death and the sudden Great Awokening that followed.

Something tells me these BTS guys don't really have a choice. Either they submit unquestioningly to the demands of the American woke Twitterati thousands of km away, or they lose everything. I still remember when a Japanese conductor was dropped from performing during the Tokyo Olympics Opening Ceremony because some American Twitter users living thousands of km away were triggered by the fact that he allegedly made some misogynistic jokes more than TWENTY YEARS AGO to local audiences in his capacity as a comedian. Wokeness threatens all of us, not just those who live in the West. We must never apologize and we must never surrender to their bullsh*t.

The FDA is set to approve the Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines for kids age 6 mths to 4 yrs in the United States before the end of next month. As soon as they do so, Malaysia and many other countries around the world will follow suit in quick succession, meaning that the vast majority of kids around the world will be getting the Pfizer shot, and we will also beat China to administer Pfizer and Moderna to under-3s before China has a chance to approve the Sinovac "vaccine" for the same age group. Russian and Cuban "vaccines" will also be sidelined.

Very few kids (age 3 and up) outside of China and Cambodia have received the Sinovac vaccine, which has now been thoroughly discredited for the Chinese scam that it clearly is, so this latest development would be our very final f*ck you to China and their now-failed "vaccine diplomacy". In addition, face masks are now manufactured domestically in Malaysia. Malaysia is also a key manufacturer of surgical gloves and other medical equipment due to our indigenous rubber industry, so Beijing is no longer in a position to blackmail us or totally cripple our economy like they did Sri Lanka's. They are no longer in a position to put our lives on hold and drive all of us in Malaysia to the brink of insanity like they did last year.

Me and my family, including my 8-year-old niece, are now fully vaccinated and boosted with the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines. Now the communists can no longer hope to stick one of their tainted needles in our bodies against our will. We remain pure-blooded with not a single drop of Sinovac in our bloodstream. We are thus no longer at China's mercy and are now able to celebrate our bodily autonomy and rebuild our lives once again. My body. My choice. My life.

The Omicron wave that peaked in March has stabilized at under 2000 cases a day despite the Hari Raya festivities. We visited an indoor shopping mall this weekend and it was packed full of people, including children and infants, just as it was before the pandemic. Life in Malaysia has largely returned to normal except for the face masks, which remain mandatory indoors. Hari Raya and Ramadan were the first annual festivals to be celebrated with little to no COVID restrictions.

In addition, our corrupt government can no longer use the excuse of breaking COVID rules to deter public protests or unreasonably curb campaigning by opposition candidates before an election, or at least that's what it's beginning to look like. People are no longer afraid to venture out of their homes like they were two years ago. If the Malaysian people wanted to, hundreds of thousands if not millions of people could take to the streets in towns and cities across the country in order to accomplish what should've been done back in March 2020, which is namely to topple the illegitimate, unelected, backdoor government and restore the previous, democratically elected government to power.

However, there is currently no appetite for that at the moment because our elected opposition politicians no longer offer a viable alternative, the government, which has a very slim majority, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the opposition last year, and we're expecting a general election later this year. Moreover, Malaysians of all races and faiths don't seem to hold their own rights and dignity in very high regard like people do in the West. If this was America, our unelected governments would never have lasted a single day, pandemic or no pandemic.

Last time I entered one of the shops of one of the largest retailers in France to buy I new phone:

I asked: Would it be possible to have the least expensive one that is not chinese please?
The seller: I would like to inform you that the chinese models have reached very good levels of quality, and are as good as other western brands.
I answered: That's not the point. I'm just concerned about who I give my money to, and in this case I don't even want to think about how it will be used if I buy a Chinese phone...
The seller, still not understading, and apparently not seeing how the chinese government uses its money: Uh, well okay, I let you have a look at our models and I will come back later.

By the way, this is France Europe but I can't post directly as I am not a member of the government of LDA anymore.

I would like to make it clear that I have nothing against the chinese people, on the contrary. My struggle as a citizen and on my own scale is directed against dictatorship and the annihilation of human beings in any country.

Be sure to distinguish between Made in China vs Made Locally by a Chinese Person or Small Business. I would boycott Huawei, but not the local Chinese restaurant down the street unless I know for a fact that the owner of that restaurant has ties to the CCP of some sort even if he/she isn't Chinese. I wouldn't patronize an English fish & chips joint owned by communist tankie John Pilger for instance. Same with Russian cats and vodka and stuff.

Justice has been served. America has reached peak MeToo. Johnny Depp refused to be silent, and now billions of men around the world will finally have the courage to speak up thanks to him and the verdict in his favor.

Let it be known that women can be abusers and men can be victims. Let it be known that men all over the world who are victims of domestic violence will finally be believed. Let would-be female abusers think twice before assuming they can cynically ride on the coattails of MeToo and get away with their crimes.

Let the woke, radical, MeToo feminists fade into irrelevance. Let MeToo die altogether. Let the playing field be leveled for both sexes.

Let due process run its course. Justice for David Sabatini. Justice for Joshua Katz. Justice for Brett Kavanaugh. Justice for Men.

Hello friend! Welcome to our Union!

Hello everyone! Gazoo is sad nobody in this Union congratulated Gazoo for graduating from Cornell University this past weekend.

Gazoo thought all will have been happy to see Gazoo conclude with his bachelor's degree in Political Science from an Ivy League School like Cornell University.
