Welcome aboard!

Revellers looking for a night out dancing have to make Covid-19 test kits and the MySejahtera application part of their party gear.

New guidelines dropped by the Local Government and Housing Ministry today state that those going to nightclubs or pubs must perform a Covid-19 self-test within 24 hours before entry.

Alternatively, premises can conduct tests on patrons. Premises are responsible for ensuring their patrons are tested negative for Covid-19.

And unlike in most places now, partygoers must still check in using MySejahtera when they go to a nightclub or pub.

Once inside, partygoers will have to keep their masks on unless they're eating, drinking, or dancing.

Nightclubs are also allowed to fill up the entire dance floor.

The new guidelines will take effect this Saturday, May 14, meaning nightclubs and pubs can reopen a day earlier than previously announced.

Nightclubs had been the last item on the National Security Council's restricted list, up until the government began the transition to an endemic phase.

Looks like these Islamist fascists have one last dirty trick up their sleeve after all and they've decided to wait till now to suddenly announce these cumbersome rules rather than do so last month. This isn't political at all, no sir. It's totally based on sound science and not because certain Muslims are jealous of the fact that non-Muslims just want to have a good time. It's almost as if, by the mere act of having fun, we're tempting Muslims to renounce their frankly backward faith instead of, you know, just minding our own business.

So off we go from a smaller cage into a slightly larger cage. Note that these rules also apply to Sarawak and Sabah, which enjoy full autonomy from West Malaysia. Or that's what they say anyway and their word is the truth so... Note also that these rules do not and have never applied to places of worship or the Hari Raya celebration because Muslims and other pious people couldn't possibly be as reckless and irresponsible as the rest of us secular, freedom-loving, infidel plebs who don't buy into their religious garbage. They're not the ones riding modified bikes at 3 in the morning asking to be run over and then turning around, playing the victim, and getting an innocent woman driver charged and convicted of a crime she clearly didn't commit. No no. It's clearly our fault we're so full of sin and iniquity and we nons just need a good spanking every now and then. No questions asked. Or else...

Just to clarify, it's the non-Muslim discrimination and the last-minute nature of the shenanigans that bothers me, not the restrictions themselves. At no point during the pandemic has a negative COVID test been a requirement to enter a premise until now. And just like the cowards that we are and have been for the past 50+ years, nobody's going to publicly protest this ethnic and religious discrimination at all like they do in other, more civilized democracies such as the USA. After all, we don't have a First Amendment here, and nobody wants to go to jail for sedition simply for voicing our disapproval toward the racist establishment, online or offline.

So uh, now what. There's a bunch of new people here. Are we making a new constitution or Something

LinkI Criticized BLM. Then I Was Fired.

Reuters is a news outlet I actually trust. I never expected even them to stoop so low. If even they can lie with impunity, then who else can be trusted to report the facts? Legacy media is not what it used to be. Then they have the audacity to "fact-check" other people's "misinformation" and flag inconvenient facts and narratives for like-minded social media companies to take down, which is why Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter is a lifeline to those of us who actually care about free speech and the truth of things.

All Lives Matter. Blue Lives Matter. White Lives Matter. But most importantly, Black Lives Matter. Yet BLM has done nothing to help black people in the slightest. They have done nothing but spread lies and misinformation and incite several months of mass rioting and violence in the middle of a deadly pandemic while the founder of the BLM organization buys expensive Beverly Hills mansions and throws lavish parties, which she has justified as a "safe space for black people" when she knows full well that race has absolutely nothing to do with it. She is the American equivalent of former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, who, like BLM org founder Patrisse Cullors, has also cynically invoked race in order to illegally swindle his gullible supporters into supporting his lavish lifestyle, which he has done absolutely nothing to earn. Meanwhile, grifters such as Ibram X. Kendi, who has managed to infiltrate Ipsos Mori, and Robin DiAngelo grift their way into positions of outsize influence and earn six-figure sums at speaking engagements with only minimal pushback and have so far refused to debate their critics lest they run the risk of being exposed as the dishonest scammers and swindlers that they really are.

BLM's deceitful propaganda and hateful rhetoric has ended up killing far more black people than ever before due to concerted efforts to defund police departments across the United States. Crime is up massively in Democrat-run cities. Homelessness, fentanyl addiction and open drug scenes, petty theft, and murder are up, and innocent people, particularly black people, are dying in droves while women and girls, many of them black and drug-addled, are vulnerable to rape and sexual exploitation because police departments are severely understaffed and underfunded. San Francisco is particularly notorious for its crime and open drug scenes while Seattle and Portland continue to experience political violence and mass rioting, looting, and vandalism to this day.

(Thankfully, these social problems have been largely confined to south of the Canadian border because Canadians, despite Justin Trudeau's woke government, seem to do things very differently there. This could also explain why housing prices in cities such as Toronto and Vancouver are dozens of times higher relative to living wages compared to U.S. cities. This is also true of Australian, NZ, and British cities. Europeans, too, seem to do far better than Americans when it comes to tackling drug addiction, homelessness, and violent crime, but woke Democrats and progressives have covered their ears.)

Rich white liberals who live in opulent mansions and can afford to hire private security support BLM because they don't have to deal with the often deadly consequences of their actions and rhetoric, consequences that they are now inflicting on poor black people. Rich white liberals and their corporate and political allies and establishment legacy media mouthpieces have turned their backs on both the white, rural working class, whom they deride as racists and bigots, as well as the black, urban working class, whom they deride as oppressed victims who will never amount to anything without their "help".

Selfishly indulging their woke, "kumbaya" racial fantasies that they learned in kindergarten, updating their Facebook profile pics and Twitter bios to virtue signal their support for the latest political fad, and assuaging and projecting their self-inflicted racial guilt to the detriment of disadvantaged communities of color is far more important to rich white liberals than actually helping people in need, while rich black people who have swindled and sold their fellow working-class blacks down the gutter have been more than eager to take full advantage of their white peers' racial guilt in order to selfishly demand more for themselves. Where past generations once flaunted their material wealth, today's young, white liberals prefer to flaunt pre-packaged luxury beliefs that have been spoonfed to them by legacy media and TiKToK memes which, if you dig deeply enough, they don't actually understand or appreciate. Suddenly they are experts on race relations or the War in Ukraine. In fact, they know next to nothing about the situation in Ukraine or the situation in poor, black neighborhoods and they have closed their eyes and ears to the truth. They do this because it "feels good". But feeling good does not translate to tangible gains for the groups they claim to care deeply about.

BLM is a manifestation of class warfare pitting the rich and powerful of all races against the poor of all races. A true, left-wing socialist who champions true racial equality and social justice over phony racial equity and affirmative action would be outraged and would demand that these BLM scammers and demagogues be held accountable for their actions. They would demand that the victims of BLM, mostly black and brown people who have had their homes and businesses in dilapidated, Democrat-run inner-city areas thoroughly looted, systematically trashed, and comprehensively torched to smithereens, be adequately compensated. If anyone ought to pay reparations to black people, it's these progressive folks that love to accuse everyone else (except themselves) of pretty much everything they themselves are guilty of.

BLM is, in fact, anti-black AKA a manifestation and perpetuation of white supremacy and systemic racism, to borrow their woke language. It is not what it claims to be in the slightest. BLM is a scam and a woke cult that harms everyone, especially black people. It is a symptom of the ongoing wokification of once-respected Western, liberal institutions such as the ACLU, the SPLA, the ADL, and even Amnesty International, or branches and chapters thereof, top-tier Ivy League universities such as Harvard and Yale, and even the lower echelons of the judicial and political system. Hence, the often hyperbolic allegations about a "deep state conspiracy" emanating from the Right.

And yes, even Reuters, a supposedly centrist and apolitical news outlet based in the UK, hasn't been spared. It's not about race. It's about seizing absolute power and control over people's minds and lives. Luckily, more and more black and brown people of color from actual, working class backgrounds are slowly waking up to woke, progressive Democrat, upper-class, white liberal lies and manipulation and walking away from the elitist, authoritarian, pro-establishment Democratic Party in droves. This has been evident since 2020 at the latest. The Republican Party is now the party of the working class. Republicans are arguably more socialist than Democrats.

So just a little disclaimer that I'm pro-choice and have always been and I think that Roe v. Wade being overturned could spell disaster for millions of women in America. If things really do turn out to be as bad for women as people say it will get, it will be much harder for me to continue supporting the Republican Party as the basic human and civil rights of half the American population are actually being substantively eroded, and I can no longer consider America to be a legitimately non-sexist country as I have in the past.

I also want to say that the junior clerk who leaked the draft of the Roe v. Wade ruling needs to be fired and permanently blacklisted by the civil service, if not arrested and charged with espionage, treason, or whatever crime they can be charged with. That this even happened in the first place is evidence of the woke infiltration of America's institutions, including even the highly secretive Supreme Court. Maybe this junior clerk wanted to influence the outcome of the coming midterms or encourage radical feminists and progressive Democrats to dox, harass, and threaten violence against the offending Justices with the aim of reversing their position simply because they personally disagreed with the draft opinion. If this is true, it would constitute a flagrant assault on the judiciary. They must be named and shamed and an example must be made out of them.

A Supreme Court draft has never been leaked prior to an actual ruling being issued until now, and this kind of gross misconduct should be a crime if it isn't already. After all, jurors are barred from discussing the details of an ongoing court case unless the presiding judge has agreed to televise the proceedings in the public interest. Media gag orders can also be issued to avoid unduly influencing the members of the jury panel. These precautions are taken in order to protect the independence of the judiciary and uphold due process at all costs.

I think the Democrats basically stabbed themselves in the back with the way they mishandled the issue of abortion over the past 50+ years. While most countries settled the issue democratically through years of concerted activism and debate resulting in long-overdue legislation or constitutional amendments resting on top of a growing political consensus in favor of abortion rights on both sides, Americans settled it through the judicial system, thus paving the way for the gradual politicization of the judiciary and the stagnation of the abortion debate. While liberals and Democrats grew complacent and never really bothered to properly make their case in good faith to opponents of abortion and the fence-sitters in between or legislate abortion rights at the federal level, conservatives redoubled their efforts to peacefully and calmly overturn Roe v. Wade and slash abortion protections in one fell swoop without resorting to the kind of mass political violence and disorder that Democrats and progressives have been openly inciting and engaging in since 2016, and especially since 2020.

Then in 2018, Trump SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh was subjected to conveniently timed and politically motivated false rape allegations during his confirmation hearing. Little did progressive feminists realize it at the time, but this might have been a pivotal moment with regards to the ultimate fate of Roe v. Wade. The ordeal that Kavanaugh was forced to endure just might have radicalized him into "teaching the women of this country a lesson" by voting to overturn Roe v. Wade rather than uphold the ruling as "settled law" as Senator Susan Collins said he would, and I can fully understand why he would change his mind on the ruling at that very moment. If this kind of thing ever happened to me and I was feeling particularly vindictive, I would ensure that all the women in the country pay a very heavy price in the form of nine whole months of agony and social ostracism. This is who these feminists and Democrats were messing with. Brett Kavanaugh is now exacting his revenge.

Had he not been subjected to this despicable ordeal from radical feminist social justice warriors engaging in a Jan. 6 style protest on the steps of Capitol Hill while their Democrat allies in Congress turned what would have been just another mundane confirmation hearing into a highly sensationalized show trial, and had moderate Democrats not been cornered in an elevator by women seeking to weaponize their personal history of sexual assault in order to demonize half the human population with a third leg in the middle as rapists and pedophiles, not only would Kavanaugh not be voting to overturn Roe v. Wade, but it is entirely possible he might never have been confirmed in the first place. And just like that, Roe v. Wade wouldn't be on the chopping block today.

To make matters worse, many progressives such as AOC have taken to removing all references to women in their speeches and rhetoric in order to appease trans activists, with the ACLU even going so far as to butcher the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg's quote on Roe v. Wade by surreptitiously replacing the word women with the word persons in square brackets. This sudden pussyfooting around gender by progressives was largely absent as recently as 2019 (Bill Maher was roundly mocked when he brought it up at the time), and this trend has been nothing but a huge boon to anti-abortion activists. After all, if pro-choice Democrats struggle to even define the word women, then whose rights are they defending exactly?

Even the radical feminists themselves appear to have been blindsided, which should come as no surprise as they have been far too busy engaging in constant infighting with trans activists and younger pro-trans feminists over bathrooms, sports, and pronouns. All of that now pales in comparison to what's currently at stake for women in America. Unfortunately for them, the progressive camp is now divided and in complete disarray and unable to mount an effective challenge against pro-life activists and conservatives more broadly due to years of excessive navel-gazing and infighting.

A last-ditch attempt by Democrats in Congress to legislate abortion protections will not avail the women of America should Roe v. Wade go to the dogs. No amount of threats, doxxing, and Jan. 6-style violence will alter this abominable outcome. In fact, progressive Democrat violence will likely have the opposite effect and it is American women, many of whom are black and impoverished, who will stand to suffer the most. While Republicans are undoubtedly to blame for seeking to overturn a woman's right to choose, the Democrats will also have the blood of women on their hands due to their smug complacency and gross mishandling of the issue over the years.

No! There are proper ways to do this and what is doing right now in the Union, Gazoo believes its wrong!!

Right, I've had enough, I'm jumping in the cryopod, putting my nations into cold storage, maybe one day I'll wake up to find this place has gotten its sh#t together.

Now let me set the record straight. I'm not saying this because of you current situation, I wish you a speedy recovery, I've had these opinions a while, and if not for the respect I've had for you I would have said this sooner, my patience has run out, I'm done.

South Waterford this is your region, you need to take a more active role in how it is run. By all rights you should have given The Civitas Islands a shot, he was willing to lead, and try something, something I've found rather lacking from you for sometime. Civitas was right to do what he did, from what I could see you didn't like it because it "threatened your power". I've done so much for this place, but I can't keep going. I've had it with the constant cycle this place has fallen into, I gave this place a jump start a while back, but I could see what the problem was then, the community is gone, too many old friends have since moved on, and its only going to keep going this way maybe you can bring it back you get involved again.

Zetox should never have been given the slack that he was given, he is the part of the reason this region was split, why you let him constantly set this place back by shooting down bill after bill further demoralizing those few left in the government is beyond me, and the ones causing it were enemies of this region, I called their game to their faces and yet still you won't listen and get rid of them. Instead you let your glorified word document who is so bankrupt in both morality and brain matter that he would put people in here to death if you wrote it into law.

Fair well UAS its been fun

South Waterford wrote:Dear Friends,

I apologize for not talking to you all for a while. In early February I suffered a extremely serious medical emergency and was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit. I found out that I had diabetes, when I was admitted my blood sugar level was 797, normal range is 80-100. I was told by my doctors that had I just went to bed that more than likely would not have survived the night.

In the aftermath of my hospital stay I was taking 4 injections daily of insulin, a long acting injection and 3 short acting injections (taken before meals). Once my blood sugar were lowered to a acceptable level, I had difficulty maintaining my balance. My doctor explained to me that they believe that I had been a diabetic for a long time and that they felt that my average blood sugar could have been as high as 350, again the acceptable level range is between 80-100. The reason for my balance issues was that due to my high average blood sugar level, my body had adapted to those levels, so when it was reduced to the acceptable levels my body was forced to re-adapt. I was off work for about 2 months.

I listened, and still continue to listen, the directives issued to by my doctor. I proud to stay that on March 28th, I was taken off insulin injections. Thankfully I am very lucky to have excellent health care insurance. I did ask for and received a prescription for a Dexcom G6 device, this device is painlessly attached to my arm and reads my blood sugar every 5 minutes. The device is good for 10 day intervals. I am very pleased to say that my blood sugar average is between 100-120 which is very good for a diabetic. I did have to change my diet..but if I wanted to get well I had to, I lost 17 pounds!!, not the way I had in mind but none the less itís a good start.

Well Iím rambling on and on about myself, sorry about that. As most of you that are active have already seen, we have suspended all the laws and provisions of our constitution. Unfortunately our region, like many others, has fallen into a slump, and has been that way for a while.

So in order to provide a stable government, the legislative and executive bodies has been merged together into the Senate, with the The Civitas Islands serving as Senator and as the President of the Senate (Principal Executive Officer). Civ shall serve in this position indefinitely. Zetox will still maintain his lifetime appointment as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. The other Senators shall also serve in their positions indefinitely. I will not be serving as a Senator, instead I will maintain my founding status as Head of State and will maintain the sole authority of appointment or removal of lifetime/indefinite offices.

I hope you and your loved ones are all doing well in real life - happy, healthily and financially secure.

With my deepest respect,

HARMAN H. TEASEDALE

Mr. Chairman first we want to wish you good health and long life! We are very grateful of you.

Thank you for correcting the judicial situation and putting Gazoo as Chief Justice since Gazoo hasnít dont anything wrong that will trigger a removal.

LONG LIVE THE CHAIRMAN!
LONG LIVE South Waterford!
LONG LIVE THE UNION!

The Civitas Islands wrote:Fellow Citizens,

May I begin by wishing our Founder South Waterford a most speedy recovery. I ask that you all keep him in your thoughts through this most turbulent time.

Real life can be a real pain in the ass.

I would also like to apologize for my decline in activity as of late. My career, as I expected, demands a great deal of time and energy, and I have neglected this Union as a result. I have kept a watchful eye, and while nothing extremely concerning has occurred, I can't help but notice the steady decline of our Union, as well as nationstates as a whole. It appears an era of tough times has set in for the community as a whole.

My reasoning for the recent abrupt change in government should be obvious. It is ultimately necessary,

However, I must temporarily decline a few of the Founder's requests.

Of course the Founder will remain Head of State. The exact function of that role is yet to be determined.

As far as the Supreme Court, well...as of now, there is no Supreme Court, no Constitution, and no Chief Judge. I expect that to be our first order of business, establishing a constitution of laws. In the meantime, as Zetox being the former Chief Justice, and a most influential and renowned member of the Union, take his place in the Senate as this new constitution is erected. Should it be the will of the Union, I have no issue with granting the founder's request to keep Gazoo as the Chief of the Judiciary.

This region has always functioned as a Democracy, but it is in need of dire leadership. I believe the role of Consul will fill this role adequately.

The first order of business is to draft a new constitution which removes the faults of all previous. I will be awaiting the voice of the Senate on this matter, as the current Senate represent the will of the people. More now than it ever has.

Long Live the Union!

The Civitas Islands,
Consul

This is just an attempt to remove Gazoo from the Supreme Court! This is wrong! Gazoo hasn't done anything wrong! Also we need to read the constitution that was approved by all of you (NOT by Gazoo cause Gazoo as Chief Justice cant vote on those matter) it states that Constitution cant be amend nor repealed for a full year! That was put by all of you, not by Gazoo!

South Waterford wrote:I agree with some of your changes, however you do not have the authority to dismiss me as Head of State, nor do you have the authority to dismiss the Chief Justice, if you want your title to stay as Consul thatís fine, all constitutions have faults, and I will agree to creating a new one and I will be involved with it. As you can see I have reinstated myself as Head of State and I have also reinstated the Chief Justice, now letís move forward together to establish a workable constitution that has less faults then the previous 6 or 7. It should not be a complex one, but should have the basic functions of a government, and role playing. The decline of many regions are occurring, the feeder regions are huge and influence smaller regions to support their causes. Iíve invested a lot of my own money in recruitment. One of the main reasons that this region always falls into a slump is because every government we have had always is trying to ďfix the constitutionĒ or create a new one, Iíll go along with one last fix..but the the government that goes into effect needs to turn focus on its members, debating on WA laws and resolutions and role playing. We also need to look to other regions as to what they have been doing to retain a active membership.

Right!! He doesnt have the right to remove Gazoo out of the Chief Justice.

Also it is tiring the constant constitutional changes certain nations want to do every 6 months because they dont like it despite they voting for it. The current constitution included a clause stating it cant be change a for a full year!

The Civitas Islands wrote:During this transitionary time, I will be enacting whatever temporary changes I see fit as Consul. Make no mistake, this is a coup. If you do not appreciate these changes, as Founder, you of course have the authority to remove me from my position and enact these changes yourself. Otherwise, trust me, and let me do my job.

You are the Founder, and of course will remain as Head of State, we just don't have a title or official role for you quite yet. For now, you will fill the role of Senator and have an equal voice as a citizen of this region in determining our course of action.

As far as the Chief Justice, there is no Supreme Court, and there is no constitution, so it is ridiculous to exclude Zetox from the Senate and assign him a meaningless role that yet serves no purpose. I believe Zetox deserves to take a part in the building of this constitution as a member of the Senate.

If I must speak plainly, one of the problems with previous constitutions and previous governments is your dictatorial-style stranglehold on several facets of the government. Now I'm willing to side with what you want concerning Zetox continuing on as Chief Judge, but I do believe the people of this region deserve an equal voice on this matter.

I agree wholeheartedly with your view on a very simplified constitution, as well as your views on constantly needing a new fix. However, I believe the greatest problem with the last constitution was that you made it impossible to be amended. Amendments are a necessary part of the constitutional process.

I also agree with your views on the focus of government being overly legislative. While I've always believed that is an important part of the game, and will continue to be, I do agree that we need to put more focus on roleplay and WA legislation. I also believe taking part in raiding is an excellent way of boosting activity and morale.

I think that this next constitution and system of government be designed to be flexible to the changing needs of the region. Too often we are too restrictive in the role of government.

How we go about this new constitution will be done democratically, listening to the voice of the people of this Union. I believe it has become apparent that how this region is governed should not be up to you, nor to me, but to the people. We will all figure this out together. I will be taking charge as the leader of this new Senate as a vanguard of the people. It is their voice that will be heard above all else.

Why you want to remove Gazoo out of the Court, despite being the most fair and balance Chief Justice is the Union history and even one of the best in all NationStates?

The Civitas Islands wrote:Fellow Citizens,

It has come to my attention, via private discussion, that our Founder South Waterford is not on board with this turn of events.

I defer all decisions, and all actions, to the Founder.

United Sentinel States wrote:Right, I've had enough, I'm jumping in the cryopod, putting my nations into cold storage, maybe one day I'll wake up to find this place has gotten its sh#t together.

I'm not happy that it took that to bring you back it seems like it takes something big to get you online, and because of that, after everything we've done, you've left us high and dry for almost a year. I was one the few nations that pushed to get you back after you left all those years ago, but after all that it feels like you are not here anymore.

I could go on, but there's no need, the problems are clear enough.

Fair well UAS its been fun
Maybe one day I'll be back

PS
To those nations who's heads I still live in, don't worry I'm going nowhere XD

First! You didnt have to eject and ban Gazoo of the Union! Gazoo want to thank Chairman South Waterford for reversing this horrible decision immediately.

Gazoo isnt the reason of why the legislature failed. The Legislature failed for doing things right and they were called upon and Gazoo as Chief Justice ended fixing the mess they created.

I would gladly do it again

Yes, Gazoo knows. Gazoo has been out because of finals and today is the first day things are bit calm for Gazoo, although Gazoo will be very busy next week as well but Gazoo knows and happy to see there was action in Gazoo absence although a little misdirected if you are asking Gazoo.

United Sentinel States wrote:I would gladly do it again

Again, you have proven that Gazoo isnt the problem it is a nations that things they are all powerful and the law and constitution doesnt apply to them. Those type of action doesnt help our Union at all.

The East Malaysian state of Sabah, ostensibly more autonomous and secular than West Malaysia, has decided to ban dancing in pubs and nightclubs in addition to requiring that all patrons be fully vaccinated and boosted regardless of age or initial series administered.

If they're going to ban dancing, then they might as well not allow pubs and nightclubs to reopen in the first place. I hope Sarawak doesn't go the same way. Our state government also has the authority to impose additional COVID restrictions on top of pre-existing federal restrictions as it has done in the past. This is East Malaysia. This is not who we are.

Shanghai continues to lock down harder than ever before even though daily COVID cases have fallen sharply according to official figures. Not only are people sealed in their apartments for weeks at a time and barred from stepping out of their front doors, but in some cases, food deliveries are frozen for three days straight. People are literally crying and begging for food. Walls and barbed wire have been erected all over the place. Searchlights and drones are also in widespread use. Shanghai is literally an open-air prison right now.

Beijing, which has closed down schools and businesses, is officially not in lockdown yet. Given what's happening in Shanghai, It doesn't take a genius to work out what Beijing might be like once it officially goes into lockdown.

If even a single person tests positive, everyone who lives in the same building gets sent to a concentration camp quarantine facility where they're very likely to catch COVID if they haven't caught the bug already. People are literally scrambling to escape whenever they can.

And just to be clear, the word "dynamic" in "dynamic zero-COVID policy" doesn't mean "not literally zero-COVID" or "milder COVID restrictions". It means the rules constantly and arbitrarily change for no apparent reason with the effect of making people's lives even more intolerable than they already are. Health workers are "disinfecting" AKA spraying inside people's homes and inside people's refrigerators; the very homes whose occupants have been forcibly evacuated from, in many cases dragged outside and into vans kicking and screaming while their pets are bludgeoned to death. Anyone who resists is in for a savage beating. In China, you don't ask questions. You just do as they say no matter how ridiculous it sounds. If they tell you to stab your son Isaac to death as a blood offering to the Party, you do it.

Isn't communism wonderful?

They might as well take zero-COVID to its logical conclusion and just begin an all-out extermination campaign or simply nuke the whole city or something like what happened to Raccoon City, USA when there was a zombie outbreak there. And still fail to completely eliminate the virus anyway. President Xi is prepared to kill all 1.4 billion Chinese if that's what it takes to eliminate COVID. Like his predecessor Mao and his Russian pen pal Putin, that's the kind of psychopathic monster that he is.

Zero-COVID is his personal pet project and he can't afford to lose face. Face being a concept in Chinese culture that just has to go. Xi Jinping has to be right. He just has to be. Because if he's wrong about zero-COVID, he's done and his rivals within the Party will move against him and prevent him from seeking an unprecedented third term in office.

Personally, I don't care about saving face. I may be Chinese, but I'm not that Chinese. Like, f*ck your face and f*ck your reputation. I don't care if you think you're right about something or how you might look in front of other people if it turns out you're actually in the wrong. You're wrong, I have the evidence to prove you're wrong and I'm going to call you out to your face in front of everyone and let them know just how full of sh*t you are. I don't care if you're my Dad or my boss or the president of China. If you're so easily embarrassed by every little thing, then I suggest you grow a f*cking pair. If you truly care about your "family", whether that's your literal family, your business, the Party, or your 1.4 billion subjects, then you would go out there and stand up for them and uphold their most basic f*cking rights instead of throwing your own family members under the bus and quite literally getting them killed in order to "save face".

If the Taiwanese can ditch this outdated cultural relic just like they ditched foot binding, braided ponytails, boom-and-bust dynastic cycles, and authoritarianism, so can the Chinese.

North Korea just reported over 100,000 alleged, symptomatic COVID cases or "fevers of unidentified origin" just yesterday and hundreds of thousands more cases since late April with 21 deaths recorded yesterday. North Korea and Eritrea are the only countries in the world with no mass vaccination program and it looks as if NK is going to fare a lot worse than China, with or without zero-COVID lockdowns.

That leaves Turkmenistan and Tuvalu as the only remaining, fully independent countries with zero recorded COVID cases since the pandemic began. Like NK, Turkmenistan is a highly secretive, totalitarian dictatorship. Other territories include the Pitcairn Islands, Tokelau, and maybe one or more, extremely tiny island nations that are not listed under Worldometers or Our World in Data, such as Cocos (Keeling) Islands (Aus.), Christmas Island (Aus.), Norfolk Island (Aus.), Akrotiri and Dhekelia Sovereign Base Areas (UK), and Aaland Island (Fin.).

Gazoo will like to see more activity in the legislative branch!

yeah good luck with that ever happening again. Too many let downs and consistent/persistent blocks to anything getting passed will always kill the creative freedoms and sour/rot the orchard of activity. People feel like everything they do is stifled and that's a cause and effect of loss of motivation. The reason for all past constitutions failing is due to the founder unwilling to delegate power to other people and only allowing for constitutions to even be considered if the document favors them. This making it harder to create a proper constitution that can actually move the region along.

Majority of active regions, the founder has no IC power unless in the event of a regional emergency in order to keep the founder as a purely OOC role in regional affairs. Then the founder creates another account and uses it to get elected into regional offices like everyone else. This generally provides good feedback to the founder if people don't vote for them. The Elected Head of State can dismiss members of the Judicial Branch with a majority of present voters via a "vote of no confidence" by the citizens. This is how active regions do things. It will be hard for this region to become active again if nobody feels they have any ounce of power/opinion to do anything for the betterment of the region as a whole.

Kicking you out was harsh yes....although I found it amusing lol. A better route to go would be to have you removed from office eventually as Judicial members retire at some point due to there being a mandatory retirement age aka a fancy way of saying term limit.

Again, Gazoo havent heard how is this Gazoo fault? Gazoo thinks want a few nations just want me out and that is it despite Gazoo has been the most fair Chief Justice in this Union history.

Hello friends! Hope everyone is having a great Sunday.
Gazoo will be busy this week but Gazoo will try to log in. Please do not eject and ban Gazoo again! That is wrong and illegal!!

Every time we have one of these "constitutional crisis" I offer up this, so here it is again. Anyone is free to use it as you see fit, edit it, add to it, delete from it, or don't.

Not recognizing faults doesn't excuse someone of their faults. Refusal and often times denial to look in the mirror and realize there could seriously be an issue can lead to some ill after effects for those around them. If that was the case, anyone and everyone ignorant of law would be found automatically not guilty based upon the fact they were ignorant to their own behavior and wrong doings. A healthy society just can't function like that.

Korean Central Television on Saturday night broadcast treatments for the fever. A doctor at Kimmanyu Hospital suggested "gargling with saltwater" and taking different medications in case of high temperature, headache and muscle and joint pains.

KCNA yesterday also suggested drinking lonicera japonica tea or willow leaf tea three times a day.

At least we now get to compare China and North Korea under lockdown side by side to see which is worse. IMHO, the verdict is still out.
