Mine was when someone who was related to Daarip illegitimately, overthrew the monarchy in order for his dictatorship and the subsequent civil war and Axololite migration.

Our was probably economy breakdown, political fissure and civil war.

When Aldire's Wysteinen forces invaded Patriagellis, and kept Noyistain for 20 years in his power.

When the mentally ill king Saşan XXXVI decided to destroy our borders and dissolve our army, letting our enemies conquer our land and oppress our people for 2000 years by beating, torturing, and killing all who opposed the foreign governments. As a result, 36 is an unlucky number in Zuzekyan culture.

Welcome to our new friend, Zunmuzai! We are glad to have you with us. Let us know if you have any questions about anything relating to the region and the game. We hope you enjoy your time with us!

So I would like to know this for world/rp purpose:

Oh no, foreign merchants have been arriving and coming to your lands in increasing numbers, spreading out and trading with the locals and local authorities for weeks.
They sell their goods and buy on your markets according to trade taxes in quite large quantities and offers/demands.
(much less if more than 10% market taxes)

What is your position on these merchants? Usual tax in a town/village? And if you don't drive them away, would you let them set up a trading post?

Note that:

-If you drive them out completely, they will avoid your country officially (will try the "black market") and risk having your merchants attacked on the waters or on the roads. (risk does not mean that this is necessarily the case), This can reduce the economy and taint the relations with another country.

-If you let them make a trading post without regulation, they will greatly help the economy and to answer to the needs of the population, but they will tend to ask for rights and exemptions and may make the communities in which they develop dependent on them.

I will post my own answer after at least two posts on this one. (Thank you in advance for your answers)

Well nobody can really trade with me by sea because I am a landlocked country despite me trying to get sea access and Great Katyusha is mad at me for being where I am is unwilling to trade with me at the moment. But say some rogue Naxian merchants came to Zuzek to trade/seek asylum. If that was the case and they weren't raiders, then the Kingdom of Zuzek would welcome them and tell them about the rules of trading in Zuzek and guide them through getting a business permit (which are in fact a thing in Zuzek). They would have to follow all of the rules and regulations that are in place for the people of Zuzek with no exceptions, though if they do need anything or need to know if something is illegal or not, the town/city guards can help as they have been trained to know every law put in place in Zuzek.

Is that more like a hypothetical question?

Holy New Andrid wrote:Is that more like a hypothetical question?

I think it is. Would make the most sense.

Yes and no, the formulation make it sound like yes, but this is also for me to know how you will treat the Battlavian merchants. You can expect traders from me if you are near me or have a coast/deep river, so I don't have to make a rp on each merchant arriving in your land and I may use (or not?) your answer to propose or influence a rp.

Trades can be made on land and far too. Remember the silk road, for example. I see. You can count on the Battlavian merchants to trade with your people mostly in the north west part of your land with only a trading post as a base of operation if your permitted it. The stay and the size of it depend on the regulations and taxes on foreigners, if they are too heavy for them, expect them to go away. Oh and if they "need" your money, women and alcohols, you give them ? Just kidding but yeah I understood.

What was the most bloody outbreak/moment happened in your nation?

Ours was really just the late 1200s, the Kurip outbreak and the Axolotlite civil war both happened at that time.
