It has been over a year hasn't it... maybe two?

Ah yes, I remember you a bit. It's been a tad over a year as far as I remember since I left CoL. Well, that makes four former CoL members here, five if you include me.
How's it been?

Eh, as chaotic as my life has always been. Quit NS for a good while, but Non has been trying to reel me back in for a while now.

Non apparently did that to a few guys. Chase and Insu, who I don't remember too much from CoL, joined after him. Good shi*.
Chilling, work, trying to cram three years of education for matriculation exams, got drafted, unnecessary drama in real life. My year in a nutshell basically.
Trying to work my memory loss raddled brain, Chase was... Amsterwald? I know Insu.
I don't think I could sum up my year in a sentence if I wanted to, but it's been a hell of a ride. It's good to see you doing well though.

What's some information about yourself (hobbies, interests, country, etc.)?
----- I'm twenty, sleep-deprived, and have a concerning lust for electoral systems.
What kind of nation are you trying to make?
----- Not sure yet, my last concept on NS was to make Hawai'i an empire that controlled all of Polynesia, so we'll see what I come up with.
Nice to see more Polynesian-themed nations. Superior. Excited to see you in TWI.
I would say almost all of them are people who do not realize the world is very different outside their bubble. They are the "savior heroes" in their opinion no doubt. But let's not make gross overgeneralizations here. The over use of "cultural appropriation" and the notion "white people were never victims of slavery or genocide or racism" some of them tend to make is obviously idiotic...And rather than discussing ways to help the marginalized group they will instead come with idiotic statements like "Japanese, Chinese and Indians are not POC" or "Slavs and White Latinos are POC" and tokenism. But there are some key points that they make are valid. Cultural appropriation, internalized racism and oppressive governments, at the end of the day, are all real issues.
I have since long come to accept that American identity politics, European (actually scratch that tons of European nation have their own thing going on) identity politics, Indian identity politics, Nepali identity politics, etc are all very different from one another. We all have different experiences and we all live in different bubbles.
That said. I absolutely place blame on the rise and prevalence of authoritarian governments in Asia (not too familiar with African nations) on the Asian diaspora in the West. And "woke people" in Western societies (I may be wrong...this is my opinion) often make valid criticism of these people and Western politicians of this type from Ilhan Omar to Priti Patel to Hawaii mommy Tulsi Gabbard (I know she is of European/Samoan ancestry and not Asian-American but the point about supporting foreign authoritarians stands) extremely difficult.
Not particularly, he was just a long time opposition leader who won on a wave of dissatisfaction, nothing weird politically really

As a former raider lemme let you in on a little secret.
You ready?
The claims of Lily's big tags in 2018 and 2020 are not uniquely noteworthy, as other orgs have hit much bigger tags over the years and were not condemned for it in such a manner as the author intends to condemn Lily. And then there's this line, "This is one of those times where we must take action and use force against Lily to condemn them." This, shameful attempt at grandstanding, proves that this Condemnation misses the entire point of the function behind them from the R/D perspective, and thus isn't worth anybody's time.
Vote for if you like, but it won't change the fact that so many more people very strongly disagrees for various reasons.
