Congressman Matt Rosendale just walked into our classroom and spoke with us
I'm a little starstruck, like I disagree with him for most issues but he came into my small town Montana classroom, and like,,,, yeah idk

don't forget to grab your muskets

Gotta be real careful if you aren't white
Lol.
How old are you?
You have to be pretty immature to not realize we take things seriously here, anyway.

Wait... Is something going on?
Texas' government has been thoroughly incompetent in its response. There's examples all over the place from the energy grid randomly taking down entire counties to preserve power, plows not going onto the roads at all.
To add on, most Texans in positions of power are saying "suck it up" to their own people, their own voters.
Saying this, and then blaming the dems and the green new deal for doing this to texas
That's not very conservative of them....
Remodio and New jacobland
It's an issue primarily because we do put in effort, and expect that from others who wish to roleplay with each other. It's not that we don't appreciate you being here, it's that we definitely don't appreciate when someone wants to roleplay but doesn't put in the effort to do it realistically, especially when a multitude of resources are provided.
I haven’t had water for a few days. And the stores ran out.
I made the point earlier, and I'll say it again here.
American Conservatives (especially political ones) have dragged themselves so far off the deep end that they would rather see millions die to "own the libs" than even admit for a microsecond that they're in the wrong or made a mistake. They will always shift blame to the outgroup, always undermine the government, and are only in politics for their own disgustingly selfish ends.
They aren't "Conservatives" any more, they're Regressives at best, Homicidal Maniacs at worst.
Edit: #NotAllConservatives
What happened to embodying Civil and moral virtue? And acting like responsible adults? Instead we just have a bunch of boomers larping as the continental army!

That'd be the Democrats for you. At least 75% of them, the rest are the Progressives who had nowhere else better to attach themselves to before they could make their own true political party.
just imagine proportional representation. That way we can see where the clear lines of policies and ideas are as apposed to labeling all ideas under one side or the other. A big tent can only get so big before it becomes a hazard to everyone
Razzgriz, Remodio, Dormill and Stiura, and New jacobland
Based. The two-party system is a cancer upon the US; you are basically forced to choose between "Affirmative Action Centrism" and "Hate-Minorities-Love-the-Rich Centrism" (as the former Party of Lincoln has become), and pretty much every other political position, be it social democracy, libertarianism, political environmentalism, or even normal conservatism, are thrown under the bus. The culture of party polarization makes it even harder for voters to find representation, as the Democrats refuse to move away from Clinton-era Neoliberalism and the Republicans veer off into fashy territory.

The label 'conservative' can differ country by country... eg) the democrats are pretty much the equivalent of our 'conservative' party whilst the republicans are similar to a fringe australian 'far-right' party
Preach
The Electoral College and FPTP voting unfortunately makes it near impossible to move away, unfortunately.
Biaten and New jacobland
Gotta love that the two parties we have to choose from in the US are "crypto-fascist" and "other". Very functional
Razzgriz, Dormill and Stiura, and Osemira
True, but only for the president. We at least have direct elections for Congress.
