Yeah it truly baffles me when people are genuinely concerned or care about the WA or even NS stats in general affecting their nation. Like I know not everyone creates their own stats for their nation, but it's just still very amusing to me.
Yeah!

What do you mean by in game effect?
"Proposals can not affect any aspect of how the game works. This includes and is not limited to mandating ejection of member nations for non-compliance."
Revoking the Death Penalty is now a policy decision triggered by issues, it should be outside the control of the WA but here we are.
There are policies that get implemented for your stats nation based on how you answer certain things (like legalizing polygamy, the death penalty, prohibition, monarchy, etc)
It's the scales icon on your nation page
I made this map of my country (Will probably edit it to improve details later)
Ioudaia, Remodio, Segentova, Dormill and Stiura, and 7 othersAthara magarat, Wellsia, San Montagna, Nhoor, Doravo, Serpens Land, and Einnstadt
For a first run, the map came out good. Nice work. I hope to see further improvements as time goes on. At the very least it's better than my initial maps for D&S, just to make the example out of myself.

I can't say it's much worse than my current maps. :P
However, you can't sentence someone in prison for his or her entire life.
And you need to cost taxes to feed these people who can't change their mind.
Hospitaller West Indies, you can make dispatch about your map, marks cities and infrasturctures on it.
You need to blur the shape of island border, change text size and location may also helpful too.
Is there a workaround they've tried to do?
The only workaround I can see is the flimsy argument that "since it doesn't ban military executions, it isn't a blanket ban on the Death Penalty, and thus is legal" but that is such bs that if it is the argument of the Secretariat, then I will instantly bail from the WA (again).
When does the repeal come in
Draft is at work now, will probably be a quick turnaround. It's not the actual resolution I'm against (both IC and OOC I oppose the Death Penalty), but rather the fact that the Secretariat seems to be letting something that clearly contravenes their rules go all the way to a vote without even the slightest hint of a legality challenge just because IA is the one proposing it. They seem to have built a reputation of bending the heck out of the WAs on rules because there's nothing more interesting to do with that UN ripoff.
What does the WA even affect anyway? Do any of the laws passed actually affect how people manage their country/play the game? What’s the point?
Is Imperium Anglorum famous? Or something special?
Good to see those North Pacific f*cktards on the wrong side of a resolution again.
Who?
Bonus points, TNP's vice delegate co-authored it too
Dormill and Stiura and New jacobland
The one who publish the issue. DaS mentioned about it in previous message.
Quick heads up in case you didn't know this already - hover your cursor over the bottom right corner and there's a "quote" button you can use to reply to someone.
It seems that if you're influential and powerful, the WA mods seem quite keen on allowing your resolutions...even if they do 'bend' (I read break) the rules.
