With no school in MT due to coronavirus, I decided to clean our bathrooms. I think I accidentally mixed a little bit of ammonia and bleach but hey, what's the worst that can happen ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What can I get for a picture of a snail hang-gliding around the tank on an 8 inch dwarf lily stem that broke off?

I'd like to know who used to be hoarding the internet when I had AT&T and trying to watch netflix on Sunday nights. I can ship 1 piece of Scho-Ka-Kola (of the regular dark chocolate variety), a beautiful wooden box, a .50 caliber cartridge bottle opener, and a random book to you, k thx.

My city just closed down all restaurants. Thus, Wife is unemployed.

I'll give you a penny for the governor's email address. I want to send him hentai.

My school bathrooms are a crime against humanity. I honestly wonder if the school keeps them revolting on purpose so people don't skip class and hang out there (they still do). At least half the doors are missing locks, most of them smell horrific, and everywhere you look, penises and swastikas abound. There's even a stall where someone drew a penis made out of swastikas.

I can sell you secrets into whether Universal Credit actually works.

According to our stats, it does. Media just like to highlight every time it doesn't work …

Sounds like you stumbled into this year's Turner Prize winner ...

As in: she really has no job anymore, or just temporarily without anything to do?

Messing with numbers and statistics. Vatican City is in third place worldwide of most corona issues with 1,248 cases per 1 million inhabitants according to the lists on the Worldometer website. Knowing that Vatican City has far less than 1 million inhabitants, the fact that there is only one confirmed corona case in that country makes perfect sense ^^

You could get a job with Government/The Media was statistic manipulation skills like that.

Hmmm... If I were a national of the country in which I live, that could indeed be a potential possibility.

that's not really misleading though, it's just true.

Corindia wrote:that's not really misleading though, it's just true.

It is if you're saying that the Vatican has the 3rd highest case-rate (by cases per million) - when as correctly pointed out, there aren't over 1000 cases nor 1M people in the Vatican.

that's just a rate my man
it's correct

Yes. It would have been misleading if I had e.g. omitted the part that Vatican City has just one case and/or failed to explain that 1,248 cases per 1 million inhabitants is because Vatican City has only around 1000 inhabitants.

When you go for a drive and you look at your speed and it says say 20 km/h do you get confused because you haven't been driving for an hour

That's different as most people have a notion of time and learnt about the system we use at school (I hope, at least). I can't imagine that the population of Vatican City (or most other countries for that matter) is knowledge that people have readily available. And most people don't google these things to offer themselves the needed perspective.
