My school bathrooms are a crime against humanity. I honestly wonder if the school keeps them revolting on purpose so people don't skip class and hang out there (they still do). Knowing that Vatican City has far less than 1 million inhabitants, the fact that there is only one confirmed corona case in that country makes perfect sense ^^

Yes. It would have been misleading if I had e.g. omitted the part that Vatican City has just one case and/or failed to explain that 1,248 cases per 1 million inhabitants is because Vatican City has only around 1000 inhabitants.

That's different as most people have a notion of time and learnt about the system we use at school (I hope, at least). I can't imagine that the population of Vatican City (or most other countries for that matter) is knowledge that people have readily available. And most people don't google these things to offer themselves the needed perspective.
