In response to "Other" on the Regional Poll, my reason for becoming an NS player and being in TWP is associated with my family history research. This may sound rather disconnected, but whilst Googling my family name for links to other similar/same family names an arms manufacturing link came up! Intrigued, I clicked on the link which revealed an NS nation that had, as part of its industry profile, my surname of Xxxxer. When I joined NS on the 3rd June 2013 to enable me to contact the nation's owner, I was born in TWP and this is where I have stayed ever since!
As it turned out, the nation's owner told me that it was his arms manufacturing company's name, but that the name was spelled incorrectly as there was an "s" missing in between the 1st and 2nd "x". It was from such trivial, crazy beginnings that my stay of just over 8 years in the best Pacific began :)
