A many faced deity with many aspects could definitely work, it’s different to traditional polytheism and monotheism.

They could perceive pagan deities as outside interpretations of the Godhead/many faced deity, and that would work as both feminine and masculine pronouns can be used for the god as itself isn’t male nor female.

The Thedish will refer to their god as some derivative of the word “dryhten”, which means “lord, the Lord” in Old English. “God” may also be used. Male pronouns will be used by default because European pagans had their chief gods given masculine characteristics and such so there’s no reason to not just keep that. Feminine pronouns for specifically feminine aspects of the god.

Tiw is going to live on as an aspect or ‘face’ of God, most likely the aspect concerning warfare, treaties and justice.

I can’t find any actual sources on the Anglo-Saxon interpretation of Tiw, only the Norse interpretations which were most likely quite different. Which is rather annoying.

I’m not very good at remembering, so could people remind me of what they envision when they think of Versilia? Or rather, how you imagine what it’s like?

I’m trying to get back to its roots but also go where I enjoy it most, so I’m looking for ideas and the sort. I had the idea just now of a Nordesque origin or style in some areas, but I’m not sure.

Wasn't Versilia mostly Japanese originally? Or was that just from the anime pictures.

I admittedly had Japanese influences, especially in regards to Red Maidens and geisha, but I attribute that to both the anime pictures and me being an otaku.

Not quite what you asked for, but rather what comes to mind from first version[s] of Versillia I can recall encountering. Fallibility of memory from many years ago kept in mind:
-Vampires/"Homo Nosferatensis Noctivagus"/"Homo Hirundus" etc., of course.
-Lots of unethical scientists and science.
-Seemingly pretty laid back society, all things considered.
-Red maidens.
-East Asian culture[More specifically quite a bit Japanese] mixed with allot of various European influences.
-Worship of Kremvh, with Kremvh being a pretty active god, having Kingfishers be revered as his sacred animal, and overall quite the case of "Did we just have tea with Cthulhu?"
-The holidays[which can still be found in an old dispatch] were still canon.
-Biting etiquette.
-At least some degree of racism against humans and negative opinions of the Abrahamic religions, presumably due to vampires' history with both.
-Borderline[?] dominant-party system in semi-constitutional monarchy that had politically syncretic ruling party.
-Technocracy applied quite heavily to administration, at least in theory, with upper house being appointed experts in various fields and topics.
-Three cheers for Scandinavian and German inspired economics.
-Dinosaurs and other such genetically engineered, modified, and/or recreated creatures in the military.
-The at least mostly if not all-female royal guard who was jokingly noted to cook you dinner after making you go through a nightmarathon of running.
-Actually pretty culturally matriarchal overall, although it seems Versillia never lost that even if varying in degree from incarnation to incarnation.
-Cloned semi-functional human beings for food and blood. [Nirn:*Quietly took idea for keeping own vampire population fed and created own spin on it.*]
-"Dibucha."
-Either current oldie, red and black sigil, or OWB[Orange, White, and Blue] flag of some kind.
-Apparently multiple off-planet colonies or at least claimed planets.
-At least one vampiric business dynasty.
-Cool small-home eco-lady for some reason.
-Had that one Queen who's story was at least suspiciously close to King Arthur.
-Akel was in charge most of the time.)

(Fair.)

Thankies. That should be useful in reworking stuff and writing stuff down sometime.

I had in mind making it more European, specifically northwest Germanic of something.

How would you imagine Versilia to be if it was much more Germanic inspired or in origin? What would you think changes most predominantly?
