What is this?
The Southern World Assembly iNitiative (SWAN) is an initiative organized by the regional government of the South Pacific to promote the participation of nations in the World Assembly (WA) and to encourage them to endorse everyone in the South Pacific. The purpose of this initiative is to help nations in this region have voting power on the WA, more endorsements, and more influence which in turn will make the region more secure and active!
What are the World Assembly, Delegates, endorsements, and influence?
The World Assembly is an equivalent of the real-life United Nations. Although it doesn't impact your nation as much as the real-life UN it does impact regions such as this one a lot.
Endorsements are something you can give or receive from other nations. They are a little bit similar to likes on social media websites except they are far more important to a region and nation because they create the thing below.
Influence is something your nation will gain by having endorsements. Influence is very important to the security of a region as it decides how hard it is to remove or ban a nation from a region.
A Delegate or WA Delegate is a nation that has the most endorsements in a region and holds all administrative powers such as moderating the message board, banning/ejecting nations, changing the World Factbook Entry,... In the South Pacific, the Delegate is
elected every 6 months by member nations of this region.
How do I participate?
Step 1: Join the World Assembly. Click here if you don't know how.
Step 2: Endorse all of these nations. To endorse a nation, click a nation name to open its page, scroll down then click the Endorse button.

The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in any region shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the attacked area.
Any such armed attack and all measures taken as a result thereof shall immediately be reported to the Founders. Such measures shall be terminated when the Founder(s) has taken the measures necessary to restore and maintain international peace and security.
The Parties undertake, as set forth in the Berlin Pact, to settle any international dispute in which they may be involved by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security and justice are not endangered, and to refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force in any manner inconsistent with the purposes of the Berlin Pact or the Security Counsel.
The Parties will contribute toward the further development of peaceful and friendly international relations by strengthening their free institutions, by bringing about a better understanding of the principles upon which these institutions are founded, and by promoting conditions of stability and well-being. They will seek to eliminate conflict in their international economic policies and will encourage economic collaboration between any or all of them.
The main headquarters of the Berlin Pact will be established within the region of the German Realm, however, members of the Berlin Pact are not required to be stationed in the said region. If communication on the RMB is not possible between regions, then Telegrams will be required to be sent to one another to communicate.
The Leader of the Berlin Pact has the right to kick or ban anyone he decides from the pact. Abusing powers given in the Berlin Pact will be met with extreme consequences. Accusations against the Berlin Pact will also be treated harshly, for this is a pact of German and Prussian values. The values of unity and justice, with misuse of these values will be termination from the pact.
The section of Guaranteed Independence means that any nation with the pact will respond to any attacks that are being conducted upon. This document REQUIRES that if any nation is attacked from this selection by a foreign power that they will be treated as if they were within the pact.
REQUIRED TO JOIN!
I {Nation} hereby accept the terms and circumstances of the requirements to join the Berlin pact, and the nation of {Nation} still wishes to join the pact. Upon joining I understand that the use of the pact is to protect German and Prussian values of Unity and Justice and {Nation} will uphold these values no matter what the circumstance as well as any of my puppets. Any wrong doing or misuse of the rules in the Berlin Pact by {Nation} or {Nation}'s puppets will result, if convicted by Great fatherland germany or Great fatherland germany's puppets will result in a ban from the pact. I hereby still formally wish to join the Berlin Pact and this telegram has been approved by {Leader} of the nation {Nation}.

Hey guys!
Most of you know me, but if you don't, here's a brief background. I started playing this game a year ago and was founded in Ten Thousand Islands. I region hopped for a while, but when I joined TSP, I knew that was the place for me. I've been active on the rmb and roleplay regions and made lots of friends! It was then I decided I want to make a difference. While I've not made the best decisions in the past, I've learned from my mistakes and am ready to give you everything I got!!
Well, I am active on the rmb almost every day and try to check the forums at least once a day. I would suppress the baddies, always welcome our new friends when I can (like a certain vulpine I know), do whatever I can to help TSP, and have lots of fun with you guys!
This region is my home and my oasis from life, and I want to make it just as enjoyable for you as it is for me!
