Thanks! *munch*
I'll watch from there!
well it is my job to fail at being funny . *sits on you*
*rushes over in the cover of shadows*
The Solar System Scope, Hanguk-Nippon, and Erithaca in the south pacific
I didn't know you had already left.
All this crap I've started 🙄
It's just an rp people, anything is possible.
*hides with you*
Still, we have a variety of nations in TSP, and mine happens to be an alien one with advanced tech. Besides, TSP RP isn't TSP RP without godmodding. :p
The Solar System Scope, Si-topia, and Volaworand
*Blade punctures your behind*
Um.... I don't think that was very healthy for your bum....
Nation-based RP is not character-based RP.
Besides, if Si can do that, then I can do this:
*magically removes Si's invisibility*
*magically makes Si forever dead*
The Solar System Scope and Si-topia
*remembers killing self* i have no a***
You know, this is why I love the Pacific's RMB RP. There are rules, you need consent to do things(Like nuke them. No consent, no nukes) and we strive for realism.
The Solar System Scope, Si-topia, and Volaworand
We're both ghosts, so it doesn't matter. :P
The Solar System Scope and Communina
I'm not pissed off that I'm being challenged. I've been in many role-plays before and I've taken the challenge. The only thing that I'm pissed off at is that:
1) You're letting Si make the RP bland and without any form of challenge or balance.
2) You're completely ignoring my actual point.
that's why I do mine mostly thru dispatches... it forces folks to stop and think.
And you're actual point is? TSP RMB RP is crazy and godmodding is rampant. It's craziness and lack of coherency make it what it is. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way.
The Solar System Scope, Si-topia, and Volaworand
Nation-based RP is something I want to get back into, but I haven't even thought about it since TNP. Unfortunately, it just doesn't seem as popular here, which really sucks IMO.
If you can't kill em, then what's the point? There is no challenge. I'm fine with crazy stuff and things like that, but if somebody is literally invincible, there's no point. That's just like aiming a bullet at a non-existent target.
Well you stop time so no one can do anything, there's not much 'challenge' in that, is there?
The Solar System Scope and Si-topia
1.) No one is letting me do anything. They don't have control over what I do, I do what I want.
2.) Astra is right. You're making this a bigger problem than it is. It's just rp and there are no rules. So if I want to say that your nukes have no effect on me, than that's how it's going to be.
Now please, stop fighting over this stupid little issue. It's not important, let's move on.
The Solar System Scope and Astraliniai
Actually, I allowed events to happen.
Well, there is The Pacific. There are rules, a guide, godmodders are put in their place by the more advanced nations(Longweather managed to nearly wipe out a new nation that consistently tried to fight him) and people need consent. Of course, if you don't want to relocate to the Pacific, it's fine.
Oh, did you? Did you really?
Have you tried Knowhere?
1) How would you feel if you killed me and I just revived myself and magically made myself invincible? There would be no point, you can't do anything and it's just boring.
2) Astra is completely ignoring my actual problem. If you were in a nuclear shelter or something then that's fine, but just making yourself invincible removes the fun.
3) You say it's not important, despite the fact that you clearly care about it.
Yeah, it just doesn't seem active or exciting enough for me.
No, that's not at all my thoughts. My only opinion is that we shouldn't be able to remove the fun from RP.
I just assume RMB role play is "fun" and non-cannon :-)
