Why would an army be on vacation if there is a new state that just popped up in their southern lands. If the French had outdated weapons, outdated tactics, and overall outdated knowledge of warfare, you would to because you inherited some of the French army when you seceded.

It's rp let's act like my state has existed for thousands of years. Besides that let's not forgot that the Prussian armies are helping me as we sandwiched the french forces. SO I've basically defeaten France now gimme the land.
