Cats are fine with me also
Good night. Fortunately for us, there are many loving and tame cats out there. I would obviously prefer owning a cat over a dog.
Infact, I would even prefer a cat to lick me than a dog because (although a cat's tounge may be rough and dry) at least it isn't gross like a dog's tounge.
Finally, elections are outlawed and robots control the government. And 25% of the population now have a thought-control collar. Yay!
And, a new flag. Red and blue for electronics and a moon, meaning the night. The moon is sometimes associated with dark times, which it definitely is for the humans!
That's interesting. But I typically associate black and blue with electronics.
And? Cats keep pests at bay. Dogs protect property. I prefer cats. They don't bark and they don't require walking outside at 6AM.
I hate walking. Driving car or whatever is okay, but not walking. Walking is too slow and too much energy with little result. Even if I spend more energy on a bike, I prefer to be actually moving or going somewhere with a decent speed. Average speed of walking person - 5km/h. Average speed of casual biker - 20km/h. My average - 35km/h. Top speed - up to 50km/h.
What's the difference? The same as between wasting your time to walk 25km(which is 5 hours) in one direction and total of 10 hours to return or to go to the beach in 1 hour, have a breakfast, return then go somewhere at noon.
Honestly, I don't really have a preference. Dogs are great for people that like walking and are energetic, and cats are great for people that aren't as energetic and love cuddling. (In my opinion, cats are better to cuddle with.) (I have two cats and a dog.)
Sorry, canine lovers, but according to a new study, cat lovers are smarter than you. Researchers examining the differences between “dog people” and “cat people” found that feline fans score higher on intelligence tests and are more introverted, open-minded, and sensitive, LiveScience reports. On the other hand, “dog people” are more outgoing and energetic, and they prefer to follow the rules. The results, presented at this month’s meeting of the Association for Psychological Science, were collected after surveying 600 college students.
I like both, and rats, cows, horses, birds, pigs, goats, sheep, snakes, rabbits etc.
And to be fair, 06.00 AM is only because I like to walk/ run an hour before breakfast with all offspring/ spouse who then have to go to school/ office. And at 6.00 AM, the world is peaceful and glorious.
My dog, who was slightly overweight when we got her three weeks ago, is nicely slimming down to healthy weight. She can always eat/ drink. She just doesn't. Oh, well yes if I offer snacks or other tasty tidbits, she'll eat.
My half cat, who decided herself that the neighbours are a better hotel, is slowly adapting to the presence of the dog.
My dogs used to catch mice and rats as well and flies.
My cat "caught" a mouse AFTER it was trapped in the mouse trap...
I can't work until I'm 16 (Cherokee County laws)
Even if I drive down to the county seat it would still be much higher than the places in North Carolina. If you're talking about off-the-books purchases, it wouldn't be much cheaper (probably 1 grand for 256 GB or 2.5 grand for 2TB. footnote: The internet service here would crash of over ~2500 GB)
And it's still a 20 minute drive to the county seat.
This isn't really a joke, but anyways.
Poland bans flights to Andorra due to Covid-19, lifts the ban after realizing Andorra doesn't have an airport.
I too like horses and pigs...and cows. You don't know how good sausages you can make from them. Or steaks.
It is good that you like rats. Rats are one of the main reasons, because of which the plague wiped at least 50% of Western Europe. Also, there is a difference between rat and mouse. Rats are pests and can even attack you and bite you. And carry diseases. Mice are pests too, but at least don't attack people.
So you can't repair the computers and phones of people you know and receive money for this?
Or you can't buy stuff from the Internet? Sites like Amazon and etc are banned in your...county?
I dont understand. People constantly talk and whine about ecology. Then why is it so hard to find a cloth vacuum cleaner bag and these they they are all one bags, made from paper or something similar?
Rats also tend to be a bit larger than mice. However since both Mice and Rats are preferred targets for cats, it's a win-win.
I mean, like you said Mice aren't as aggressive as rats. However, they can still indirectly spread disease and prove to be a nuisance as well.
So, cats do a great job when it comes to both mice and rats.
I know right? They actually thought every single person had a responsibility besides their job
Adult rats are actually quite large, can become almost as large as a cat. And can be a threat for the cat itself.
Cats can deal with them, but not as easy as with mice. I also tend to "adopt" street cats or their offspring.
They know how to actually get the job done, they are not spoiled and they are grateful.
Not to mention that with so many cats on the streets, you have to be quite insane to pay for a cat.
