Commemoration of the Great Rising: 40 Years
*Its 9:00 hrs and the sun is gently gracing the streets of the old town. The old town has seen much in years: fires, floods, revolutions, and riots. It was here, at what is now the National Building, where a brave young lad gave his life for the liberation of the nation.
It was a morning similar to this when a group of Eire patriots, dressed in their Citizens army uniforms, marched in protest for home rule. While turning the street corner when the troop was halted by a squadron of imperial troops. The tension in the air was tangible and the whole country held their breath. A young boy, carrying the banner of the Republic, stumbled out of the masses and approached an imperial soldier. The soldiers yelled at him (in English) to halt; the boy did not understand. The lad, no older than 14, was raised among the outskirts of the land, in the rural communities that did not speak English. As the lad continued to approach, the imperial troops readied a volley. Patriots tried desperately to call the boy back but lost in the confusion the boy halted. Imperial troops lay down a volley as patriots screamed and ran to the sides of the road and began returning fire. The young boy lying in the road, the banner soaked in his blood. His brother (current chancellor) watched from the side, trying to return fire through tears eyes. Many men and boys lost their life on that day, but the fight would not end there. For three bloody years battles and skirmishes were fought but eventually, freedom was secured, but for a heavy price.
This morning, troops, in full dress, await in dressed lines and with clean rifles, all of Eire is here... today is Independence Day.*
The Chancellor of the Commonwealth: Clyde Kelley
A dhaoine uaisle. Ar an lá seo, 40 bliain ó shin, chonaic muid an t-ardú ar ár n-réabhlóid ghlóir. Reabhlóid de bhráithreachas agus comhoibriú. Saoirse ó riail eachtrach agus eachtrannach. Saoirse a bheith ina dhaoine saor in aisce aontachta agus beo agus aitheantas a thabhairt dóibh i measc na ndaoine a chuirtear i gcrích.
In ainm Dé agus ar na glúnta atá marbh as a bhfaigheann sí a sean-thraidisiún náisiúnachta, déanann Eire, trína linn, a cuid leanaí a ghairm chun a bratach agus a stailceanna as a saoirse. Arna eagraíocht agus oiliúint a dhéanamh di trína h-eagraíocht rúnda réabhlóideach, Bráithreachas Poblachtach na hÉireann, agus trína eagraíochtaí míleata oscailte, Oibrithe Deonacha Éireannacha, agus Arm na nEarrannach, tar éis dó a smacht a fhíorú go héasca, ag fanacht go rialta ar an nóiméad ceart a nochtadh féin , tá sí ag glacadh leis an nóiméad sin, agus, le tacaíocht óna leanaí exiled agus ó chaidreamh caidreamh sa réigiún, ach ag brath sa chéad uair ar a neart féin, buaileann sí i muinín iomlán an bua.
Dearbhaímid an ceart do mhuintir N Eire ar úinéireacht Éire, agus ar an rialú gan staonadh ar bhealaí Éireann, a bheith ceannasach agus mí-oiriúnach. Níor cheart an ceart a úsáid le húsáid fhada an chearta sin ag daoine eachtracha agus an rialtas, ná ní féidir é a mhúchadh riamh ach amháin trí dhíothú mhuintir na hÉireann. I ngach giniúint, dhearbhaigh daoine na hÉireann a gceart ar shaoirse agus ar fhlaitheas náisiúnta; sé huaire le trí chéad bliain anuas dhearbhaigh siad é in arm. Ag seasamh ar an gceart bunúsach sin agus arís a dhearbhú in arm ar fud an domhain, déanaimid seo a rá go bhfuil poblacht na hÉireann mar stát neamhspleách ceannasach, agus geallaimid ár saol agus saol ár gcomrádaithe i gcúis a saoirse, ar a leas, agus ar a ardú i measc na náisiún.
Tá poblacht Eire i dteideal, agus éilíonn sé seo, fóirneacht gach Eireman agus Eirewoman. Tugann an poblacht ráthaíochtaí do shaoránaigh reiligiúnacha agus sibhialta, do chearta comhionann agus do chomhdheiseanna dá shaoránaigh uile, agus déantar dearbhaíonn sé go bhfuil sé á réiteach aige sonas agus rathúnas an náisiúin ar fad agus na codanna go léir a shaothrú, ag tabhairt aire do pháistí na tíre go cothrom na difríochtaí a chothabháil go cúramach ag rialtas eachtrannach, a bhfuil mionlach déanta acu as an chuid is mó san am atá thart.
Go dtí go dtabharfaidh ár n-arm an nóiméad tráthúil chun rialtas náisiúnta buan a bhunú, a bheidh ionadaíoch do mhuintir na hÉireann ar fad, agus arna dtoghchán ag fulaingt a fir agus a mhná go léir, déanfaidh an Rialtas Sealadach, trína chéile, riarachán na n-armtha sibhialta agus na míleata gnóthaí an phoblacht i muinín do na daoine. Cuirimid cúis phoblacht na hÉireann faoi chosaint an Dhia is Ísle, a bhfuil a bheannacht á iarraidh againn ar ár n-arm, agus guímid go n-éireoidh duine ar bith a fhreastalaíonn ar an gcúis sin é, trí mhaolúlacht, míláithreacht nó rapine. San uachtair uachtair seo ní mór do náisiún na hÉireann, de réir a luach agus a smacht, agus trína ullmhacht a leanaí chun íobairt a dhéanamh dóibh féin ar mhaithe leis an dea-choitinn, a bheith cinnte go bhfuil sé mar fhírinne uathúil ar a dtugtar.
Bhí sé mar phribhléid againn riamh a bheith ina chaomhnóirí seo, inár dtír dhúchais. Tá am nua ag teacht, tá sé in am go dtiocfadh an t-óg agus an t-aois as a gcruinniú agus a chabhraíonn lenár ndaoine a ardú agus go gcomhlíonann sé a gcreideamh. Tá am nua ag teacht.
Ladies and Gentlemen. On this day, 40 years ago, we saw the rise of our glorious revolution. A revolution of brotherhood and cooperation. Freedom from a foreign and alien rule. Freedom to be a free people of unity and live and be acknowledged among the exhaltations of the nations. (The reading of the independence document)
In the name of God and of the dead generations from which she receives her old tradition of nationhood, Eire, through us, summons her children to her flag and strikes for her freedom. Having organised and trained her manhood through her secret revolutionary organisation, the Eire Republican Brotherhood, and through her open military organisations, the Eire Volunteers, and the Eire Citizen Army, having patiently perfected her discipline, having resolutely waited for the right moment to reveal itself, she now seizes that moment, and, supported by her exiled children and by gallant allies in the region, but relying in the first on her own strength, she strikes in full confidence of victory.
We declare the right of the people of N Eire to the ownership of Eire, and to the unfettered control of Eireann destinies, to be sovereign and indefeasible. The long usurpation of that right by a foreign people and government has not extinguished the right, nor can it ever be extinguished except by the destruction of the Eireann people. In every generation the Eireann people have asserted their right to national freedom and sovereignty; six times during the past three hundred years they have asserted it in arms. Standing on that fundamental right and again asserting it in arms in the face of the world, we hereby proclaim the Eire republic as a sovereign independent state, and we pledge our lives and the lives of our comrades-in-arms to the cause of its freedom, of its welfare, and of its exaltation among the nations.
The Eire republic is entitled to, and hereby claims, the allegiance of every Eireman and Eirewoman. The republic guarantees religious and civil liberty, equal rights and equal opportunities to all its citizens, and declares its resolve to pursue the happiness and prosperity of the whole nation and of all its parts, cherishing all the children of the nation equally, and oblivious of the differences carefully fostered by an alien government, which have divided a minority from the majority in the past.
Until our arms have brought the opportune moment for the establishment of a permanent national government, representative of the whole people of Eire, and elected by the suffrages of all her men and women, the Provisional Government, hereby constituted, will administer the civil and military affairs of the republic in trust for the people. We place the cause of the Eireann republic under the protection of the Most High God, whose blessing we invoke upon our arms, and we pray that no one who serves that cause will dishonour it by cowardice, inhumanity, or rapine. In this supreme hour the eireann nation must, by its valour and discipline, and by the readiness of its children to sacrifice themselves for the common good, prove itself worthy of the august destiny to which it is called. (End Reading)
It has always been our privilege to be custodians of this, our homeland. A new time is coming, it is time for the young and old to awaken from their slumber and help our nation rise and live out the fulfillment of its creed. A new time is coming.
First Lady of the Commonwealth
Na mBan agus na bhFir uaisle, le do thoil ardú a dhéanamh ar an amhrán Náisiúnta, an fleasc, agus an post deiridh.
English: Ladies and Gentlemen, please rise for the National anthem, the wreath laying, and the final post.
*The First Regimental Band of Eire (An Chéad Bhanna Réigiúnach n Éirinn) stands opposite the podium. The sunlight glinting of instruments, buttons, and shakos. The wind gently rustles the trees. Sweetly the tunes of [i]ó buachaill Danny[i] envelope the serene setting, a source of contentment and Pride is felt by all. Like the wings of birds, fighter planes from the Air corps fly over trailing the colors of the National Standard and the crowd erupts in cheers and applause. Troops, clad in their green uniforms, approach the National Building bearing a wreath, with it are listed the sons of Eire that were lost in the Great Rising. The crowd hushes at this and as the Bugle sounds out the last post, it might be heard that a tear was shed. But all sadness was forgotten as this is Independence Day! It is a time for celebration and new beginnings.*
The diplomat, a little stunned by the response, represses his shock and asks, "Well if your not going to help us militarily, then could i proposes continued friendly ties between our two nations then? At least that you could possibly agree. Also on a second not I've been asked if you would allow military access from my country into WP to set up a humanitarian relief effort there, seeing the current scope of the civil war."
The first official council has been formed with them helping propose new laws and taxes.
We can Help....
“We will allow your nation access to WP through a route of our choosing, for humanitarian aide. I am definitely in full support of such a plan. And as for our international relations, we will strive to keep things strictly cordial. After all, Rolling Prairie was built on rationalism. Cutting ties, or spurring animosity between our two great nations would be absolutely ridiculous. He pauses for a moment. And to add to all this my good sir, I have a proposition...”
(Please let me know by tomorrow afternoon what changes/additions need to be made to the map.)

In the evening hours of the 12th day of March, 1950-somthin, the military forces of Rolling Prairie set into motion the plans of President Reginald Edwardson, to annex a portion of South bend and mishawaka. (The South Bend part.) The preparations for what will hopefully be a swift conflict have now begun. This will appear to be an unprovoked attack on the international stage, but to us it is most definitely justified. Thousands of our citizens have already clamored for revenge against SBM since our earliest years as a regional power. Since the sacking of Bendix Woods. This is not a war that will go unsupported. Justice will finally be served after nearly a century.
This top-secret letter was sent out by telegram to every prominent government official.
The citizenry will soon learn of all this through a television speech made by President Edwardson live on air. It will happen within the next few days.
The diplomat, really eager to get anything out of this talk.
He leans forward slightly, “What deal might you be proposing?”
Meanwhile in the High Colonel’s Office
Military officials stand around discussing the next move. The main talking points are how to gauge MCs current border strength.
They eventually settle on what Adok proposes
“In order to know their strength, the best way would be to send high flying planes to photograph enemy locations and military areas off the border.”
The room falls silent, the costs are weighed and it does appear to be the most viable option
The idea is held to a vote. Unanimous.
The planes will be fueled and sent out immediately, one plane will be sent out, it will return and later, another plane somewhere else along the front will do the same.
An excuse is developed, “To many rookie pilots getting lost in training.

Despite our countries differences there is a strategic discussion which needs to be had. Stop. Would you be willing to discuss certain military options in the near future? Stop.

Upon hearing this, General Hildemann, after achieving authority to do so, sends a messsage in return
Message from desk of General William Hildemann
As to what kind of military options would you want? Note we expected a quick response.
