This Amendment changes the wording of the constitution to allow the Worshipful Master to veto up to one law within their term limit.
1. This act will change the wording of the constitution to allow the Worshipful Master to veto up to one law within their individual term.
2. The act establishes that:
The Worshipful Master is the democratically elected head of the region and represents wide ranging views and opinions that must be protected.
All nations, be they large or small, are able to introduce legislation, and that such legislation may be passed by the opposition without consent of the region.
Some legislation can be passed by the opposition by a poll which may not be in accordance with the direction outlined by the constitution or the government led by the WM.
3. Therefore this amendment will give the Worshipful Master the power to veto up to one law at his or her discretion within his or her term.
4. If a WM is re-elected, they have veto power once for each term. Veto power does not build up (the WM cannot 'save' veto's to have 4 at a time, they only have 1 veto each term)
1. The act will aim to:
Ensure that legislation is fair and reasonable.
Preserve the integrity of the government in fulfilling its role- governance.
Allow the Worshipful Master to ensure that legislation is concordant with the direction they wish to take the region in.
2. The act will achieve this by:
Amending the constitution
Ensuring the powers of the WM are not overwhelming or too powerful.
Giving the WM unique powers to take constitutional issues into his or her own hands as the elected leader of the region.
-
1. The Worshipful Master is the Head of Government of the region.
3. The Worshipful Master can supress posts on the RMB and has the constitutional authority to eject residents at their pleasure. However, this must be for a period of only 10 days. The Worshipful Master does not have the power to ban residents.
4. The Worshipful Master does have the power over embassies, polls, communications, appearance and border control.
5. The Worshipful Master can vote in any elections.
6. The Worshipful Master does not have the power to lock the region (see Article 5).
7. The Worshipful Master shall be elected by the last day of the second month after the previous election. However, the incumbent Worshipful Master may call an election anytime during the term, provided that they provide one week of campaigning to do so. This effectively gives each WM a 60 day term, depending on the time of year.
8. The election of the Worshipful Master begins when a poll is introduced by the Founder or WA delegate, with a one-week deadline for campaigning and time to allow all residents to have the opportunity to vote.
9. The vote takes place in the regional polls. The question must be clear and fair to all candidates and residents,
10. Any resident can stand for election to become Worshipful Master, provided they are not WA delegate. Any number of candidates may stand. Even if there is only one candidate, there must still be a vote- albeit with an approve/disapprove question.
11. The Worshipful Master does not have executive power, and must not be WA delegate.
12. The Worshipful Master takes office as soon as the Founder and Speaker has certified the results and appoints them. The certification is purely ceremonial, and the Founder is constitutionally bound to do so.
13. The Worshipful Master has the power to change the composition of the cabinet during their term.
14. The Worshipful Master does not have the power to choose the opposition or WA delegate.
15. The main role of the Worshipful Master is to introduce legislation, increase regional membership and help promote international relations.
This section can only be removed if 50% of the residents of TOO vote to do so.
This will be changed to:
-

15. The main role of the Worshipful Master is to introduce legislation, increase regional membership and help promote international relations.
16. The Worshipful Master has the power to veto or repeal up to one law per term. For further information see '1st Amendment to the Constitution' on the legislation page
This section can only be removed if 50% of the residents of TOO vote to do so.
1. The Worshipful Master must NOT abuse or misuse this power. It is only to be used in rare situations in which legislation doesn't suit the direction the WM wishes to take the region in.
2. Misusing this power could result in impeachment (see the Constitution, 7.2)
3. The WM may also use this power to repeal former laws without regional consent. This counts as a veto.
4. A veto can be overturned if 40% of the region telegram the founder with concerns over a veto.
5. If a WM sees the need to veto or repeal multiple laws, they can request further powers by a regional poll in which 55% of the region must approve such conditions.
6. The WM cannot single handedly repeal the constitution.
7. The WM can veto laws even if in the "approving or repealing this act" it says otherwise, unless it is the constitution as specified previously.
1. As this is a constitutional amendment, it requires a poll in the regional parliament to approve it.
2. This act requires a majority support of those who vote.
2. This act must be repealed by a poll by which at least 50% of TOO's residents vote to repeal it. The WM cannot veto their own veto power.
Approved On:TBD | Margin: TBD | Repealed: N/A | Status: Pending vote |
1st Amendment to the constitution. There will be a poll on this after the flag referendum.

As an American, I have to remind our oldest and dearest friends, the Brit’s, that you guys blew a 13 colony lead.
Anyone up to establish a Federal ICAC? An ICAC is the "Independent Commission against Corruption", with 2 extra divisions being added to it: the Department for Freedom of Information Inquiries (DFII) and the Royal Information Commission.
The DFII's job is to take freedom of information requests (just look that up, it's really simple to understand) and the RIC's job is to handle information, any confidential details or things of sorts like that must be sent to the RIC for distribution when someone requests it via the DFII, the RIC and DFII are part of the ICAC (which I hope to hold) which now will:
- Handle impeachment requests before the Speaker (currently R. Walsh) gives the green light to hold a vote of no confidence
- Funnel requests to the DFII (the RIC is directly funnelled via nations themselves)
- and Hold Investigations against any member of the cabinet/government when the ICAC gets enough reports or gets enough proof to deem an investigation suitable

You guys lost to rice farmers
And are the exact reason why Osama bin laden had weapons, and was able to set up 'the base' (القاعدة/Al Qaeda)
Firstly, we aren't your 'dearest friends' we are your fathers, and we much prefer your sibling Canada, you are the unwanted, disowned, child, your tourists are a national embarrassment who wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a Scottish accent and a Northern Irish one.
but one thing we can all agree on:
Both police forces are absolutely disgusting and in dire need of a revamp to remove the racism misogyny and rape culture which is rife in both forces, particularly the met in the UK
Edit: I've found this really cool car tuning website (where you can customise looks of cars and stuff, I'll send over some of the stuff I've done - we all love Zanjact's Zadas (defo not a rip off of Ladas in any way whatsoever)
Please send me the cool car tuning website
