Its because they got your informational is a "legal" way, you signed your death when you made a account.

Its bad, but if you doxxed somebody simply by just them saying stupid things that lead to where they live, than its practically somewhat their loss.

I can do a example.

Lets say I doxxed Madjack even though he has never posted or hinted about their address, and how I got it was from pulling their IP, getting their address, and getting their coordinates, thats illegal.

But if he did it to himself and posted it out loud, I can repeat it all I want because its legal.

Worth noting that this may vary depending on what legal jurisdiction you, the victim or even the servers for a site are in.

I mean, I am not too scared of being doxxed since if anybody came to my house, they'd walk out with bullet holes...
