The King of the most influential of the Isonti tribes looks out from the balcony of his home in the Narada (pronounced Nar-da) Valley, a green place teeming with life. He remembers the Legend of the Golden Stag his uncle told him in his youth. Whoever wore its hide would be the one to unite Isontia and be its first true king. He thinks about what could happen if he was the King. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees a golden blur. His eyes widen, and he runs downstairs.
