Barracks? Those are for military personel only, i was under the impression that you came to observe the rich cultures of Friently? The art and building styles used throughout it, meet the people? You never mentioned going to observe the military.

My guards treated them with caution, the visitors have not been threatened nor have they been harmed, they have been welcomed into Friently to observe the culture, art style etc as well as been given drinks, food and a place to stay while visiting. That my guards are armed and ready for anything is nothing more than caution, its why the Empire has had to deal with only two terrorist attacks throughout 200 years.
