King Uzanad immediately accepts the meeting, as there would be no reason to refuse. Although, it will take much convincing to get King Uzanad into the alliance rather than the regional alliance with Redpeppers. And Article 4 Section 1 is a bit unclear, and King Uzanad would like more details on it. Whether the section just means he has to defend them, or it means they essentially rule Nonadia above King Uzanad.

Basaran wrote:RP: Dissolution of the UBI Program and its effects
The Universal Basic Income program, started by King Asvard, came to end upon his request. The project was a huge success but other budget necessities required the funding. The Project saw the nation's GDP/capita went from a mere 40-50,000 to a whopping 80,000. The sheer volume of economic output being put into the export market was making up for the debt incurred by the UBI program. Stocks soared
and the effort put into the factories and other production centers doubled their production rates. The doubling of exports saw much of the Basar-origin manufactured (Houshold Goods, Consumer Goods, Automotives, etc)products being sold abroad sold almost at wholesale prices.
Too bad.

As has been revealed for centuries, the lower knowledged will have more children. He promises to raise the education budget by getting income from the untouched fishing industry in the Point Lovin Islands, with the combination of income from Avidina.

RP: Mobilization

Direct orders from King Uzanad has forced the army to go into full on mobilization. 3 million troops have been on standby for years now, but an extra 2 million will be mobilized by the end of the next 5 years. Factories are being turned into military factories, with the Nonadian Government directly renting synths from SynthTune to allow faster construction of the tanks, as there aren't enough willing to work in a factory. By the end of the next 5 years, 10 C-1 Ukko tanks will be being produced every month. And 10 N-79 bombers are to be built every 10 weeks as well. Some industrial companies have told the Third Imperial Armed Forces will not be able to meet their goal as they may run out of tank and plane ammunition, though so far the accusations have been denied.

Nonadia has sent over 100,000 "Volunteers" to Icewindia and troops stationed at Winterplain Naval Base has increased to 30,000, the most out of any Nonadian military base. 100 N-79 bombers are also stationed in the base as part of Fast Response Division 2, a division meant to respond to military action in the area.

As the man obligingly bestowed a period of benevolence towards the almost-faintly spoken yet vehemently charged monologues of the living skeleton, he interweaved each of his fingers into a taut lock before mustering a formal response to the living skeleton's words in an impassive tone of voice.

In reference to the acquisition of firearms and further forms of armaments for your people, consultation with a few of my colleagues will be hosted as an independent course from the conference. Howbeit to this, I do not wish to overload your mind with all of this information so I'll leave you to your own thoughts for now as you wait for the return of Hessia . . . and speak of the very devil, herself. "

Siegwren pronounced the last words of his monologue in a faint tone as Hessia took her first steps into the spaces of the cabin compartment accompanied by a member of the flight crew, adorned in a blue-and-grey service uniform and similarly-colored cap with the symbol of a laurel and a dove pinned to its front-center, firmly cradling a small metal tray in their hands. Upon swiftly locking sight onto the living skeleton, Hessia motioned the flight crewman to deposit the metal tray on the table that divided Melladar's and Hessia's seatings - to which they obliged in complete silence - before she approached the seating area and took a seat herself.

Seibalath wrote:RP : Odd Predicament

Feltz had his own opinion of the events that transpired in Midribbonia, thinking of them depriving proper learning to aspiring mages as the source of their problems. Wild mages although, tended to plague the Seibalath's society, recklessly causing destruction or rebelling against the kingdoms of it. Although it had now came to him that Midribbonia was a society that advanced without the need of magic, something that was formerly considered an impossibility in the Seibalath where most if not all advancements were made with its help.

" I'm starting to think there is a trend about the outsider nations lacking magic at all, yet being able to come this far. " He remarked to Anna. " But I consider it strange that this incident were to occur, were they not once people who helped their own communities? After all magic is just but a tool to them as like the machines your people wield. "

And when Sigor came, he returned the handshake through his furred paw. " Greetings Advisor Sigor, you may call me Feltz Ritsen. I am a diplomat hailing from the Seibalath, but more specifically the state of Ceolan. " Feltz didn't speak more than that, expecting Anna to conduct her business with the man shortly.

Sigor Pocevin: (in Common) So, that's the main proof of magic being somehow tied to this incident. There is no way in which 3 whirlwinds would avoid one circular spot in the middle, it's logically impossible. Those traces of silver powder only prove it further. A proper investigation will take days, if not weeks, but right now all the evidence is in front of us.
Anna Bornova: I suppose you're correct, there is no solid evidence yet, though, so we can't be sure. The main point of the attack, if there was one, was to destroy the databases and servers, right? So it was not to hurt people, but to deactivate the government's electronic system. I wonder why would they do it...
Sigor Pocevin: Oh, by the way, completely forgot to tell you. Firefighters took your laptop out of the building, and it was unlocked when they found it. I think you might want to return it and see if it still works without problems.
Anna Bornova: Yeah, wanted to fetch it from them myself, thanks for reminding. If there's nothing else to look at apart from this spot, then we better go check on our colleagues. Oh, Mr. Ritsen, what do you think about it? Does it look like a result of the use of magic or not? After all, you've got some experience with it back home, so maybe you could give some expertise on it.

Archron Empire wrote:RP: Preparing for the Awakening

Sensing the inevitable is coming, the Archians have taken this time to go over their inventory of armaments that they have gained and previously had.

This list contains:

4.5 Million able and ready personnel (Far from the previous 50 Million)

6,552 Cerberus and Wolverine tanks alike.
5,000 Avani Amog-US-23 armored vehicles
15,000 transportation vehicles
3,000 Archian APCs

14,000 A-34 Fighters (11k captured Avani jet craft)
8,332 A-45 "Longswords (8k captured Avani bombers)

180 Total Naval Vessels

90 AHS Kraken Destroyers (80 Avani Captured)
90 AHS Collider Cruisers (80 Avani captured)

Archron has begun a remodeling and complete overhaul of all the Naval and Air vessels and craft. removing the Avani language from databanks and replacing it with Whiskwindian and Archian translations. However, this does not appease the Archians at all. The Archians have forwarded the results to Woleve Atraland and has deemed a "all hands" needed emergency to bolster their numbers. Once having one of the greatest military in the world, they still valued quality over quantity. Archron has completely scrapped the Naval production in order to mass focus on building armor and jet craft. In nearly three decades, this would be the first Archian soldiers to step foot on the Tengerinan soil once again.

The Archian government has ordered for Icewindia to cease its actions within Tearth as it “threatens” regional stability. Should they comply, Archron will remove its units from the border entirely. Should they refuse, nationalization of the dockyards will occur.

However, unknown to the Icewindians, the Frostwindians would be receiving lease payments for taking the dockyards .

{ RP | Gearing for Conflict }

With a general increase in world tension, what with Icewindian instability, the Archron invasion of Avidina, and various other minor conflicts to the south, the United Federation has heeded the call of its KSI allies to modernize its armed forces in preparation for the worst. The Ministry of National Defense has undertaken the logistically daunting task of categorizing all of the Federation's military assets in preparation for the program, with efforts being led by the new Chief of General Staff, General Ai Yamazuki. Efforts are already underway to consolidate an inventory of the Federation's massive stock of arms, vehicles, and other equipment. A review of the the nation's military and civilian personnel, financial situation, and infrastructure is also underway to determine the combat readiness of the entirety of the nation with efforts headed by the respective ministries.

Initial information from the review is indicating that the military's inventory is at least 10% post-modernized (2170+ technology), 40% modernized (2150-2170 technology), and the remaining 50% consisting of legacy systems (2150 and older technology). Personnel figures have been significantly reduced over the past two decades given peacetime conditions, leaving roughly 800,000 active duty personnel and 1.5 million reserves. Thanks to several decades of internal stability and improved trade conditions, largely in thanks to the KSI, the economy is estimated to be able to sustain a total war scenario for three years before significant repercussions appear. This is in large part thanks to the favorable state of the Federal Reserves as well as new industrial technologies being introduced yearly.

Prime Minister Gwendylen Arana has already addressed both the Legislative Yui'an and the nation regarding the situation to the south, and new proposals are already underway for the additional funding of the military. With the world seemingly headed for war, the common citizen can only hope that the seas will continue to separate the island state from the remainder of the war-torn continent.
