wut? dnd isn't the most popular!? I thought NS has the dnd demographic... or maybe I thought wrong

There's definitely many DND enjoyers in TEP, so I assume that in NS overall it's a lot - maybe people who don't check the RMB? I'll post discord announcements about this poll soon.

These polls aren't going to be scientific, they're just going to measure those who already play NS that happen to both see and vote in the poll.

As for why I selected "other"… I'm not really much of a board game player. Been to those things where people get together to play board games and wind up playing something random so it's fun because you're maybe there with regulars of the place and/or people that arrive only for board game night or whatever. Even if they turned a game I like such as Rimworld or SimCity (which I honestly haven't played since SC3000) into a board game, I'd be like 'meh'.

Is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking? Iwaku DnD campaign!

Was reading up on Changeling: The Lost recently, sounds cool and interesting although I’d definitely play it the wrong way.

I don't generally like CofD as much as OWoD, but Changeling: The Lost is head and shoulders above Changeling: The Dreaming. It's probably my second favorite WoD game after Werewolf: The Apocalypse.

I've always enjoyed reading from Wraith: The Oblivion.

Haven't played it, but I love the books and setting.

I've never actually played Wraith either, but I've got all the books and used a lot of stuff from it in other games and in my werevulture homebrew. It's always had cool worldbuilding and cool mechanics (shadowguiding for one), but it's unfortunately never been as popular as other main OWoD game lines (though it's always been more popular than Mummy, so that's a small consolation, I guess). They tried to bring it back with Orpheus after they killed it off earlier than the rest of the setting, but it's just not the same.

On that note, Exalted looks amazing as well. I've used a lot of material and ideas from that in personal worldbuilding.

(I say as I play another round of Bubble Pop or whatever it's called on my phone :P)

edit: Yeah, reading over Orpheus didn't have the same feeling to me, despite it being the successor.

Temporary Questionaire:

What is a folk story/myth of your nation?

I actually never got into Exalted. Might now though. Don't have high hopes for W5 or H5.

With Exalted, I mostly got into reading the Yozi/Neverborn/"Hell" stuff. But I loved it.

No idea what the mortals are doing topside. Good luck. :P

Here’s a short tale from the top of my head
King marries a woman (wow how original)
They have kids - 4 I think
Old mother dies and kings marries an evil stepmother
The kids find a magic wand (I think)
They give it to their stepmother who turns them into geese
They are forced to live in the castle lake for 300 years, another lake for 300 more and the open sea of the north for the final 300
They then return back to the ruins of the castle and transform into extremely old people and die
At least that’s how I remember it,it’s been a while

Ankuran and Goshai

I voted Chess. ( You guys always vote on my polls,so I voted on yours hehe)

It's taken a long time and a lot of hard work, but I've doubled the quality of the weather in my nation. We've gone from -310 to -155!
