If you want to work with models, projects and so on, it's the degree for you.
Chemical Engineering is much about chemistry as it's about the engineering aspect of it. Researchers discover the processes, we enlarge and make them economically viable(and monitor the whole thing). Of course it's more than this, there are many fields to follow.

Thank you for that advice, I haven't had anyone to ask about that specific field before
