Ah well I can't control what you do

This is SERIOUS!

The Hurricania Imperium and Tornado Queendom (including all colonies) have officially entered the "2020 Troubles," as the Tornado Queendom's Kaiserin is calling them, during the last week of May. Virtually no businesses shut down due to Coronavirus, but a MASSIVE amount shut down due to the Troubles.

Here's some pictures, just to see what's going on.

Hurricania Border Troubles with Rainbowa

The result of a riot in The emu federation

Yugoterran Riot Police intervening in the Tornado Queendom (Zagreb) in search of Antifa and Jihadists (the Girl is a Tornado Girl in her "human disguise")

Tornado Queendom Mercenaries from various bordering countries preparing to fight for the Kaiserin (in Vienna)

A makeshift camp set up by BattleRats 2 Players in what used to be a Casino (which shut down due to the Troubles) to protect Budapest

The Hurricania Imperium's mercenaries invading Belgium to hunt for suspected Terrorists

It remains to be seen whether it will get worse, but if the previous Troubles in Northern Ireland are anything to go by, expect this to last into the 2040s or even the 2050s.

We are coming to the aid of the Tornado Queendom, and Mimi Mimikins will personally wish her Tornadic ally the best of luck in dealing with the situation.

If I may be so bold as to suggest a miniature railgun. I have the knowledge to construct one should anyone request it. (I do not mean requests in the real world, that’d make me an illegal weapons contractor. This goes without saying, but I’d rather not go to prison)

Why not a sidewinder air to air missile

It’d be more efficient to use a miniature railgun because you could just load a dense metal bullet or two. This method requires no gunpowder whatsoever because the electromagnetism fires the bullet at incredibly fast velocities, and a very small mess would be made. Yep, all it takes is just a swift bullet to the heart, or y’know any other vital organs.

If you're not obliterating a person using a spinal-mounted void battleship-grade coil cannon, then you're obviously not doing it right.

Yeah but that's loud why not just lethally inject them

The noise problem is a good point, a railgun would be much more quiet compared to a regular gun because of its lack of gunpowder, but it still produces a large amount of noise. So I found a better weapon instead. It’s an electromagnetic coil gun, while this gun uses many of the same properties it does it in a very different way. An electromagnetic coil gun—also know as an electromagnetic accelerator—uses coils to accelerate iron or steel bullets, whereas a railgun uses rails(hence the name). A railgun is loud, it takes a while to charge the capacitor bank, it’s far more dangerous, and it’s not as fast as a coil gun; it is, however, more simple to make it work. An electromagnetic coil gun uses coils to pull iron or steel bullets, and is faster than a railgun, safer than a railgun(to an extent), so much more quiet, results in a bullet moving at a greater velocity, doesn’t require gunpowder, doesn’t have much recoil, it doesn’t need to charge any kind of capacitor bank to fire, and it looks cooler. Though it does have drawbacks, like the railgun the smaller you try to make it the less powerful it’ll be, it’s very heavy, and the coils need to have a very precise time between when the electric current is sent through the coil and the electric current is stopped. The reason this is a problem is because when an iron or steel(which is an alloy containing iron) bullet is sent through the barrel the magnetic pull on the bullet works in both directions, simply put the bullet will go both forwards and backwards. I’m not the best at explaining this so I suggest researching a bit on simple motors because some of the same properties are used here. I’m going a bit off track, basically the current has to be turned on long enough to pull the bullet, but has to be turned off before it starts pulling the bullet backwards.

To finish this off I will explain why it’d be less efficient to use a lethal injection, from when the injection is injected into a vein and when the heart stops there is about a seven minute time period. This in itself is a bit slow but efficient if the target is incapacitated. However, it’s difficult to find a suitable vein for the injection, so long in fact that it may take a few hours.

Forget injection! We're having to resort to Burning Rioters at the Stake! (Firenadoes, anyone?)

It can be, to make one that can be held by the average person fire at super sonic speeds would be impossible with the worlds current technology. To make it move at super sonic speeds you’d have to add more coil and send a far more powerful electric current through the coils. Based off the way electromagnets work I think that should in theory get the bullet to move faster, but in truth I don’t have one, nor have I done any testing with one. There is one in the world that can get subatomic particles to move at nearly the speed of light, but that electromagnetic accelerator is a circular particle accelerator which also happens to be the largest, most powerful particle accelerator in the world. The larger objects you try to accelerate the slower they will go. Though some side information is that the particle accelerator is called the Large Hadron Collider and was very useful in finding the existence of quarks—quarks are what protons, neutrons, and electrons are made of. Also if any of you are confused on the name an electromagnetic coil gun, electromagnetic accelerator, and particle accelerator are all technically the same thing, but the name seems to vary depending on use.

We're now pulling out the Gattling Guns and mounting them to Bullet Trains!

The Strangers Club and Ruthoni

Fact of the day: Quantum Tunnelling is the process of subatomic particles effectively "teleporting" through very thin bits of matter. This happens because at this scale, all matter can technically be seen as an energy wave, this energy wave when pushed against something slightly phases through an object giving a relative ratio based chance that the particle may shift its existence on the other side of a barrier.

This has real world implications with computer processors where, now that they have gotten so small, they are now suffering the issue of quantum tunnelling by the electrons that power them, sending out false signals. This means we've effectively gotten to the maximum capabilities with traditional computational chips.

Quantum Tunnelling also plays a role in nuclear decay and the fusion in stars. For nuclear decay, there is a small chance at any given moment that a neutron will leave the atom it is housed in, this is has only been observed in isotopes and atoms with a mass greater than Iron.
