The Hammer Falls || New-Order2
Public broadcasts all across the Republic are interrupted with breaking news. A fleet of Republic civilian vessels was brutally annihilated by Solarian military forces, much to the utter horror of the citizenry and administration of the Saharian Republic. Within an hour, the Republic embassy in Solarian territory was ordered to be closed with immediate effect - and any Solarian diplomats in the Republic were quickly given an ultimatum - leave the nation, or be taken prisoner.
Communications with the Solarian Union ground to a halt as only the main diplomatic channel was left open. A boldly-worded demand was broadcast to the Solarian capital, demanding an explanation…
“--You have committed an act of war against the people and government of the Saharian Republic. You must explain yourselves, and offer unto us a most sincere apology.--”
Effects:
-The Republic has closed its Embassy in the Solarian Union.
-The Republic has demanded the closure of the Solarian Embassy on Viskova.
-Diplomatic relations between Saharia and the Solarian Union have collapsed.

a simple reply returned, the Union not having the patience to put up with words not saying anything:
"the vessels in questioned entered our space and refused to identify themselves. we took reasonable action to disable their engines. it is in no way our own fault that they were thus destroyed and though it is regrettable that people have died, it is entirely their own fault for refusing to follow our simple and reasonable orders to identify themselves."
The ship arrives in the border to find the silver-white lights reflected from the Fluid Armor of the flagship Brünhild and five Z82 Destroyers guarding the ship. The Kaiser's ship sends a Contact Pod to the ambassador's ship. The pod lands, and the ambassador's people find the Kaiser himself and his Zwölf walking out of the airlock.

"greetings...whoever you are." Ru'la began. "i must admit, i was expecting to come on board one of your own ships. this ship of ours is quite small after all, and was not really made to handle such an important meetings. but i am Ambassador Ru'la and i represent the Solarian Union. an honor to meet your nation."

Before the Solarian response reached them, an emergency session was declared to discuss the Republic’s next course of action. As the nation continues to revile in horror at the blatant attack against innocent civilians, the leadership of Saharia must choose how to proceed…
A man slams his fist on the table. “There is no other choice but war! We must strike now - the Solarians must meet the full might of our forces in battle. The people of the Republic will not stand for anything less.” The man’s slight Slavic accent identified him as Grand Admiral Varsuk, one of the nation’s most prominent Naval commanders.
Another man spoke - the Grand General of the Army. His uniform was noticeable, as it was of a dark green rather than the gray of Central Command and grayish-blue of the Navy. “The Solarians have made it clear that their primary objective is to stake the Core. Their newest fortress-world is a blatant domineering gesture. They only sought to use our forces to help sweep away resistance so they may solidify their control.”
“What of our forces in the Madrugada System? The Solarians are there alongside our own. Surely we cannot simply turn on them?” Admiral Sykes, a younger woman, was clearly more divided on the issue of war. But she shared the same abhorrence of the Solarians. “If we seek war, we must conveniently reorganize ourselves planetside and in space there…”
The officers continued back and forth, drafting a warplan. Meanwhile, the Executor said nothing, and simply sat at the head of the table, trying not to drown in his own thoughts. Was a war really worth it? Should so many more need to die?
“Executor Ellecon - what do you think?”
He snapped out of his own thoughts. Fortunately, he was still listening. “I do not want war. But the Solarian Union has clearly given us no choice. Although I called this meeting to discuss all possible plans of action - whether or not they be war - we must reconcile with the fact that only one path is clear. We are to send an official Declaration of War against the Union, and announce it to the Galaxy. As for our forces on Madrugada… consider all Solarians as we would the Fillanueva…”
Edekar City, 24:30 Local Time
For half an hour, during the last hour of the Viskovan Day, all public broadcast systems were replaced simply with a message that read: “--Please stay tuned for an official message from Executor Jason Ellecon of the Saharian Republic --”
A countdown clock was below, starting at thirty minutes. Once it expired - to the second - the broadcast showed the Executor standing before a podium, with the Saharian city skyline to his back and a banner on either side of him. “--Citizens of the Saharian Republic. It has been resolved that the attack on the thirteen civilian vessels which entered Solarian space five hours ago was deliberate and intentional. Diplomatic communications have yielded no results. It has been declared, by the Dual Palaces and the Executive Arm of the Republic, that a state of war now exists between the Saharian Republic and the Solarian Union. As the Executor, I have been authorized to employ the full force of the armed forces against our enemy and to bring the conflict to a swift termination…--”
The broadcast would be short, simply showing footage of the declaration of war passing effortlessly through the legislature and up to Ellecon himself - where he provided his signature. The entire nation was united in its goal to end the Solarian threat, and would ensure the Galaxy was aware of its goal to do so.
As of the final hour of the thirty-seventh day, of the year 4043, the Republic of Saharia is at war with the Solarian Union.
The Grand Fleet musters, the Legions assemble.

The declaration of war was met with a frenzy of activity in the Solar Union. War economic measures were take, soldiers were mobilized, ships were brought to full readiness and the Senate held an emergency session. After some 40 minutes the president held a speech for the union.
"Citizens, today is a grave day in the history of the union. For a second time in our history, so short by galactic standards, we are being attacked by a foreign power, seeped in the Xeno influences we suaght to guide them from. Let there be no voice declaring our victory as a forgone conclusion; this may be our darkest days. Our great Union stands alone and outnumbered. The enemy stands nearly 7 times our numbers in ships and soldiers. We stand on the brink of the battles of which history is made. But we are human! We have not survived this long by accepting defeat! When faced with odds that others would flee from, we have stood our ground and crushed them. We will fight through the impending invasion of the Saharian Republic and we will show them what bring Human is truely about. We will make them wish they had never stepped foot in our space! Do not lose hope, people of solar, for hope is our greatest of virtue."
The solar union marches to war and only time and oceans of blood will decide if it will stand the trials before it.

"My offers will be this."
The Kaiser suddenly got a pistol out, and killed the Solarian ambassador. Dozens of Imperium soldiers jumped out of the pod, killing the Solarians.
Fleets mobilizing. Citizens cheering. People watching hundreds of ships flying into space. Generals making plans.
The Kaiser standed on the podium.
"Today is the day! We, the Galaktische Imperium, struggling for the purity of the galaxy, for the humanic dominion of the universe, hereby declares unlimited supports to the Saharian Republic, also struggling for mankind, and declares war on the dirty alien scums of the brutes calling themselves the Solarian Union. In short,
The Imperium declares war on the Solarian Union, and is happy to support the Saharian Republic."
The Kaiser walked down of the podium, leaving the thousands of people cheering.

Unitess hardens defenses across the nation, as the galaxy has clearly begun exploding in warfare. If any trade routes were targets of attacks, it would be our very own; The Hydean Way. Especially considering how much the Saharians rely on such a trade route, it would be no surprise if the Solarians showed up one day, guns blazing.
RUSF would see to it that Early Warning scanners would be upgraded. If there would be any attacks, we would need the advantage of preparation.
As another nation joins the list of potential enemies, Unitess wonders if sending the broadcast was worth it.

The Zsarks, a species of the deep galactic northwest, within the northeastern peninsular arm of Kinmoon space, have offered to send aid in the form of advanced medicine and parcels for POWs, they offer to set up operations on planets and spacestations, to help the local civilian populace in the incoming war, and to help injured soldiers and prisoners of war by providing medicinal aid with their advanced understanding of healthcare.

As the operator sat in the station where he slept overnight in case of any immediate response to his previous message, he begrudgingly began the process to relay another transmission thinking that using such an old frequency would yield no results. However, upon the opening of an incoming message, the operator's heart leaped into his throat.
“Universal Empire Station Novo 2, this is Commander Adam Sander of the Colonies of Unitess. Do you read me?”
The operator scrambles through his desk frantically looking for his headset to communicate with the so-called Commander.
"H-hello!... yes I read you!!!..." The operator breaks into laughter so overwhelmed with joy that there were others still out there.
"I thought there was no one left on this frequency... It's good to hear your voice commander."
Just then as the operator made contact, blaring alarms sounded warning of an incoming vessel which could be heard through the comms.
"OH F**K!!!..." the operator lets loose fearful of what had just arrived. "Sorry Commander, I have to transfer you to a different frequency. Establish contact in 15 minutes, they will be awaiting you... God speed." the operator states right before sending the frequency and killing the transmission.
Following the establishment of contact with Unitess, he notifies the Republic's capital forces that the station might be under threat from the Auraxians and that communication had been made with the Colonies of Unitess and to await contact from them. In response, the Novan Navy dispatched a fleet to the system to eradicate the possible xeno threat.
Within 20 minutes, 24 vessels emerged from lightspeed with a red flash and loud crack whilst traveling directly at the Courageous weapons primed. A single message was relayed to the vessel.

Wilson froze for a moment after hearing the idea - concerned, delighted, and surprised. He wasn’t sure if he even had the right to take someone onboard as a non-commissioned crewmember. Still, the Republic Diplomatic Corps consistently overruled their own etiquette if it meant more opportunity. He decided it was an excellent idea - even if it would technically be against code.
“I… believe we can most certainly accommodate that..! If it is by your will, Commander - and by the choice of the Corporal - I will gladly accept her as a crewman for the return journey to our space.”
He finished his drink. “I will warn you, however - I can tell your people find darkness comfortable. And you also prefer to keep it quiet. The Republic is neither quiet, nor particularly ‘dark’. I can’t promise you’ll feel totally at home. We can make accommodations for your living quarters and I will do my best to inform my crew of your preferences. If you want, we can loiter in your space for a day while you are onboard, to see whether or not you can remain comfortable onboard our ship.”

Sergeant Vella managed to call forth her military discipline and calm herself slightly. Still terribly confused and somewhat scared, she aimed her rifle downwards and looked down at the Legion doctor.
“Yeah, you know what? That’s great. Let’s start there. How about you help her first, and I’ll call for another doctor?”
The Commander smiled as it was by her will and approval and the Corporal already gave her consent it was her idea after all. Then Corporal Shadow spoke "It's more of a matter of sight as ours is darkness based rather then light so I should be able to get along fine once i get a pair of sun protecting contacts that should be able to work and just need to take them off for sleep. As for the quiet well thats not really it as much as i got to do some tweaking on the translate for how loud its output is. I would however, appreciate those accommodations for the living quarters cause sleeping in the dark is weird. I do believe that might be a wise call just to make sure i can handle it at least in a more stressful environment than I am use too. After all if your ship is ever in a combat scenario regardless of in ship or in space battle, I intend to do my best to aid in defense and follow all orders so I must be able to hold myself to your crew's standards as a matter of merit." The Corporal looks proud and is smiling as she says this.

Nickelback wouldn’t have to get very far to become the center of attention for Central Command. His shuttle was welcomed to land near the upper levels of the Spire, and was welcomed inside. After briefly speaking with several officials casually, he would be confronted by the leader of Central Command himself - Grand Moff Verreks. He was a surprisingly young man, notably younger than the average of his peers and subordinates. He had blue eyes and brown hair, and sported a thin mustache and beard which connected at the cheek.
The title of “Grand Moff” was yet another vestigial piece left over from the days of the Universal Empire. Somewhat of a misnomer, the Republic, unlike the Empire, only had one Grand Moff, who was in charge of the nation’s Federal internal affairs - and, as the name would imply, the head of the Council of Moffs.
Verreks greeted Nickelback with a slight grin. “So you’re the new Commissioner. I must say, you’ve done quite a job in such a short amount of time. Your reputation precedes you, Nickelback.”
He stretched out his hand, inviting a handshake.
Full Throttle
Long had the Empire of Mexico languished in recovery of the great war, decades of work needed to recover the worlds worst affected by the fallout and reestablish the massive industries that the nation was once known for. Now, one hundred years to the day after the war had begun, the nation once again was beginning to mobilize itself. M65-B artillery wagons were being loaded onto ships in the thousands, tanks being loaded in the millions, and soldiers deploying in the billions. The ships were headed for one specific nation: the wreckage of what was once honograd. Despite the time the so called imperium had been dead, it was known to still be hazardous with legions of space marines remaining active. Those risks were why the general had chosen to issue artillery capable of firing atom bombs to eradicate whole cities deemed too difficult to take. Now was the time to continue reclaiming the wastelands across the galaxy, and spread the democracy that the general had built up from the fallout.
he would take it and gives a firm shake.
"Thank you Verreks. As is the case with many of my fellow commissioners, I only want the best for the people. Ekavira was only the first step. Depending on what my predecessor had left alone, I still have much more to accomplish."
