It's okay, tis long way off regardless. Probs not for another few months will I have enough free time. Perhaps a new char will surface. Still, time is relative *wink*.
True, though, Still don't know who would be out that far.
Ello grunted, "I'm not. Let's see how decent your armor is." He turned and pointed the mouse's mouth at Gallius, and then pulled the tail. Out of the mouth was a little explosion, and then a round musket ball shot out at Gallius. It had the power of a musket too.
The Psion looked down and shook his head, "You were rude, so now I have little choice." The doors opened, and more guard droids entered.
Deren smiled, "Yup! Genuine Urha! With all the perks involved. Pretty neat huh?"
Gallius was quick to dodge the mouse's shot. As his robotic brain allowed him to do so. He looked at the dent in the wall. "What the hell's the pun?!"
She growled and stood up. Fixing her tie and vest. Then moving to a mirror to fix her hair. "Ugh, I'll be nice now. You were just being a ripe ole dick."
She looked around. Then fixated her eyesight on him. "What the hell are you wearing and why is this place so unfurnished?"
Ello snickered, "See? Dangerous. Anyways, what you just saw was... A mousket!" As he said the name, the mouse disappeared, leaving his palm empty. But the Cuthian was quite amused at Gallius's reaction overall.
The Psion smiled, waving for the guards to stand down, "Good, good. So, what was your name again? I sorta forgot." The Psion clearly hadn't much care about Lilith before, but seemed to care a bit more now since it had seen what she was actually capable of.
He sighed, "It's a suit. Apparently my Grand Hunt armor is inappropriate. Annoying, ain't it? That armor's great! Anyways, I still need to decorate the place, since I just got it yesterday. I want to call in my squad, and we can decorate it with our various trophies from hunts and bounties!"
"That makes sense... but what should we do in the meantime? I think that show's already started for tonight."
Little bit of lore for yous. I suppose. If you want to read. And please do. Quick note, the current year for the Bez calendar is 1898, this little story takes place in 1891.
Shanalotte was sat at her desk, looking at the papers that were strewn about from her red box. It was a normal day, really. No rain, barely any lightning, even. So she read of the cabinet meetings, amendments, resolutions, and other various parliamentary documents from that day. Reading each one, signing off, or just setting it aside. She had already written two letters today to Zed and Rose concerning the main subject of that day's documents. The Azad. They party had already gained massive support overnight, and was expected to have its secret members publicly declare formal allegiances and for everyone else, it was a normal day. But for one in the government, it was a stressful day. Allies could become enemies, and this could hang parliament. There was a knock on the door as a servant entered the room. "Your Imperial Majesty, your car is ready." She nodded and stood up. The servant fixed her pelisse on and she walked out of the building. Heading towards her limousine. Once onboard, she looked out the window the whole ride to the parliament building. Once arrived, Zed had met her personally. She stepped off in a little bit of a stupor. "My Supreme, Bay has already began his speech." "Did you give consent for the meeting to begin?" "No, my supreme, he began without my permission." "Why did you allow such a thing?" "Because, he kept citing some ancient law protecting his right to give a preamble to his party's members, but since he doesn't want to address them privately, he's doing it from centre stage." Shanalotte huffed and the two quickly entered the building. "Where is Chancellor Love?" "Already there, she's listening carefully to see if he messes up and oversteps." Shanalotte and Zed came to two doors. One had a small flight of steps leading to it, and the other didn't. Shanalotte climbed the steps, and Zed entered the door that had no steps. The two entered into the Sansad. All the MPs were sat down, but stood when they saw the Supreme enter. She approached her throne and sat down in it. Everyone else sat down. Zed and Rose were sat next to each other on an elevated desk, and Shanalotte sat above them in a throne. Bay was below Zed and Rose behind a podium. There was a large circular floor space below him, with the Imperial Crest on it. Then, it was the concentric tiers of Fatimazda in suits all sat behind desks. There were murmers from the crowd. Shanalotte tapped her scepter against the floor. And Zed cleared his throat as he leaned towards the microphone on the desk in front of him. "I hereby call this meeting of Parliament to order and demand that Minister Chase take his seat." His eyes started on the crowd but soon turned to face Bay, who growled lowly and walked over to take a seat. "First on the agenda we have-" "The Azad Partei moves to take the floor!" A MP cried out. Zed looked out at the crowd. "Silence. The Azad partei can have the floor when we reach the appropriate time in the schedule." "You've been saying that for months!" Another crowd member shouted. Rose slammed her staff on the ground. "We will have order, or this meeting of parliament shall be postponed until further notice!" Soon, there were hundreds of shouts from the crowd as it erupted with chaos. Zed looked to Shanalotte, she nodded her head. Zed turned around and cleared his throat. "The Azad will take the floor for five minutes." Bay stood, and soon hundreds of ministers stood with him. There were cries of "Traitor!" "Ghashyr lover!" and "Haartists!" This cries received some applauds, some laughs, and some growls. Bay took the podium again. "For too long has the crown and her... High house ruled this nation! It's time for a more progressive and advanced government! One where a monarch does not still have the authority to enact such powerful acts as the blunder that was the wasteful and unnecessary war with the Starways! We need measures to prevent this! The Supreme, and her 'appointed' ministers must go! The time is-" "Minister Bay, your time has been used up. I am prohibiting you from speaking further. This is nothing but treason and slander. As such, you may take a seat." Zed spoke. Bay laughed into his microphone. "See how this imperialist acts?! He 'prohibits me from speaking further' You cannot suppress the truth! Nor can your lackeys do the same!" Rose looked at Zed nervously. Zed looked over with his normal uncaring stare. "Very well..." He leaned towards the microphone. "We'll be taking a recess. Please use this time to word your speech more carefully, Minister Bay." As this was happening, Rose was sending messages out to all minister who had not stood. "Do not leave." Zed pressed a button and a bell rang out. The Azad members leaving the room slowly. Soon after a guard locked the door behind the last member. Zed looked down and then to the microphone. He made sure the people in the hallways could hear him. "To all members of parliament who have left this room, I shall consider this as you resignation. Thank you for your service to the Empire. Safe travels." He switched the microphone off. "Lets return to our normal proceedings."
He sighed upon hearing the name. "You're a looney." He said as he stood up and walked over. "I should kick your ass for that..."
She rolled her eyes and sat down in a huff. "Elizabeth. But you can call me Lilith." She shook her head and looked down at the floor.
She sat down. Quickly eating the food and nodding at him. William would also notice she was wearing a pair of sweat pants that did her body no justice. And one of his teammates stolen hoodies. Which made it seem like she wore a massive blanket. Again, doing her body no justice. Her hair wasn't even done and was just up in a bun. "Uh-huh. Interesting. This is really good... anyways, sounds cool I guess. Sorry bout the armor." "Sir, I can ring for your squad mates if you'd like." Lucifer's voice rang out.
