Hey folks, I'm back from the dead. My country CTE'ed a while back when life got a little hectic. All is good now, more or less, so I resurrected and have been bumming around Osiris getting my nation back in order and hoped to return to the SC where the role play is lively and the drinks are free (as long as its BYOB). My thanks to 
Asgareth for encouraging me to get back in the game. Of course, when I first went back to the SC region, I was quite worried at how empty it was until I saw the link here to the 4SC. I am assuming there is a Second and Third Sovereign Charter region left on the roadside of NS somewhere, too. Anyway, can I unpack here or are you about to migrate again?
Welcome back! The 4th charter is sort of unique in our history, in that its existence didn't come out about because of any legislative changes but because of an administrative one. Our founder, Enfaru, CTE'd, resulting in us moving. Therein, the 1st,2nd and 3rd (which was the one you joined) Sovereign Charters were all in the same region, while the 4th one is a completely new one (we created it in March).
In terms of roleplays, I do encourage you get involved with Diplomacy in the Dark, which is GM'd by Harren Island, under a puppet. Troubled Birth is an option, though it is rather developed at this point. All being well, I will have my new civil war RP up and running fairly shortly (though, as Rome will attest, this has been promised for a year now). As I mentioned in my telegram to you, I am also happy to re-open Choose Your Poison!, though this will likely only happen if we get enough new recruits. And of course, I encourage you to create your own RP if you have an idea!
As far as I am concerned, we have no immediate plans to relocate. We have some prime real estate here and don't intend to sell it on the cheap. Check out the map and claim your spot, and come pop by on discord!

Never underestimate the Sovereign Charter
As it may have been obvious from my campaign speech I did not expect to win this election. But when it became clear that I was going to, I decided to leave my final mark on the region. Like I said in my speech, I will be heading to the Peace Corps for the next two years, with that in mind as well as my rather limited involvement in the region in the last few years, I think its time that I retired North Covenant for good.
I have to thank you all for being a part of this region. This was my first region that I found after stumbling onto this website (literally through the now defunct Stumbleupon) in 2014. The memories I made in this region have been fantastic. SC made me the nationstate player I am, and has been a part of my life for 5 years. We’ve seen so many people come and go over the years, usually without much fanfare, but I didn’t want to simply disappear but to give a sincere thank you for spending time with me throughout these years, and wish you all the best. I hope I can continue to check out the Charter in the coming years and see it still in its semi-active state. Perhaps y’all will have moved onto a new color by then.
Without the Charter I wouldn’t have been able to found more own region, and it has helped kept me writing (even if pretty badly). Through all the chaos and frustration, this place is still near and dear to my heart. So once again thank you so much. I have one last thing before I leave for good but for now I am in fact resigning from my position.
