Vault 87, Capital of the State of Lurg

General Lurg sat in the oversized lumber chair the ghouls had built upon his request and look down at his right hand man, Joesph Silas as hes called by the Ghouls and few intelligent Super Mutants, but more commonly referred to as "The Preacher" by the Mutants who find words difficult. Waving his hand at the ghoul, Joseph pulls out a book and reads as his ever common pet rat lounges on his shoulders.

"General Lurg, your forces have successfully occupied the Broadcast Tower KT8, aka 'Big Towa' with no problem, I have allocated resources to the tower to build some defenses for the small force we will position there. Further south," He flips a page and places his finger presumably on the line hes reading from, "the abandoned gas station, Rockbreakers last gas, has also been taken without incident and once again ive sent orders to place defenses there." He flips through two more pages and looks confused before looking up, "Captain Azmodai reports that the handful of humans at Everglow have been taken care of easily by our brothers, however your brutishness, this so called Lamplight is a fortified cave inhabited by human children. Whilst normally id overlook this they occupy a cavern that leads to a backdoor into your most despairing palace and could provide a route to our enemies."

Lurg scratched his mishappen chin before answering, "Send Catcher, he and his band take caves. Tell him catch children, alive. We need more mutants and ghouls."

Joseph bows, "Ill send word to Lieutenant Catcher immediately sir. As fro expansion plans, to the east is Fort Bannister, an old word fort. We can use the nearby Waste disposal dump as a forward base as its large radiation signature keeps the humans away."

Old Pre-war Factory, Cincinnati Ohio

Detective Joseph Winters arrived at the Decaying building Slightly after Dusk. Wearing his Suit and Tie he Tucked his UPD badge away somewhere safe as to not be found.
Lighting a Cigarette he took a few drags while he checked over the ammo in his Revolver and spun the Cylinder putting it back in.
Intel suggested that this Relic from the Old World was now used a Chem Den and Makeshift Casino. All sorts of Criminals used this as their way to escape reality be it through a syringe or a bottle of booze.
Taking a final drag from the Cigarette he tossed it on the ground and snuffed it with his shoe before Briskly walking towards the Enterance of the Factory keeping his eyes peeled for trouble.

Once you get to the entrance you sport two female guards for the place who begin to give you a pat down checking for any weapons as well as shoe search . Once his revolver is found he is directed to a locker to put his weapons in and other contraband from outside the premise and told to take the items inside: three complementary condoms, a container of Viagra, a bottle of beer and a small amount of chips for gambling. To make sure you partake in the fun and likely to spend caps here.

Placing his Revolver and Other Contraband into the locker he stuffed the Condoms and Bottle of Viagra into his left pocket and his Chips into the Right pocket. Keeping the Bottle of beer in his hand he took in the Sights before him.
Plenty of Drunks and Junkies. The Factory itself was rather Extensive. Most of the Gambling and Chem Sellers appeared to be on the Bottom Level while the Higher levels appeared to be High Rollers based on their Fancy outfits and better treatment.
If Joseph had to take a wild guess he would assume that the Ringleader of this operation would be on the top floor.
That's where most Big time crooks liked to be. In the high life and overlooking the Miserable.
The Two female Guards outside appeared Stoned out of their Minds even as they were assigned to Guard duty.
Noticing a close by Poker table he meandered over and sat down in an Empty seat.
Lighting another Cigarette up he grabbed some chips from his pocket and set them on the Table joining the Game.
[Det. Winters] "What's a guy gotta do to get some Company around here? Geez if this was Cleveland i would already have two broads over here!"
The Question was Directed towards the Dealer.

Dealer: "All the areas are separated if you are looking for some broads or guys they are up on the next floor to two floors up depending what ya looking for. They have regular broads, maids, nurse uniforms some are even all dominatrix like and if you really want to there are some guys up there as well. If ya want a broad or two two to suck ya off while you playing well you should have asked first or or i could get another guy to get them for you for some extra caps!"

A man in a grey suit and tie, fitted with a grey fedora as well walks into the Casino, to Detective Winters he seems familiar but he doesn't even spare a glance to Winters as he already knows who he is and why he's here. Detective Foster, a regular around the Officers of the Cincinnati Police Department walks amongst the Casino, looking around at all the disgusting Dealers, Junkies, and Prostitutes. Detective Foster may look of the cultural sense, but he is one stubborn fellow. Detective Foster sat down at the bar, taking out a small notepad and noting that the top floor is probably where all the bigshot individuals are. He wrote in the notepad:

"Top floor is the priority. Must find a way up there, or at least investigate as much as I know about the big shots who run this disgusting place."

Detective Foster looks up at the bartender.

[Detective Foster] "A round of Scotch please, and what can you tell me about the admirable people on the top floor? I am looking to do business with them one day. I and my crew are big shot Chem Dealers around these parts, you buy a syringe of Psycho around here, it came from us... The guys who shot Mob Boss Dave Lucifa in Kentucky, that was us, pal... Hell yeah, it was... Good times... Now tell me, barkeep, what's up with the top floor?" Foster grinned at the bartender, passing the Charisma check in the process.

[Det. Winters] "That's what I'm talking about! Some God Damn Customer Service. Jesus."

Looking around at the Other players he Laughed.

[Det.Winters] "I don't want any of them Cheap Wh*res on the Floor above. One of them Guards outside However caught my Eye. She seems like a pretty young thing. Regardless of the obvious drug scars."

Leaning forward a little he whispered to the Dealer.

[Det. Winters] "Get me one of them and i can slip you a.."Commission" fee."

Heck Mistress Elizabeth would have my head if I let ya do that and before you ask she runs this place and is not a hooker and she helps train the girls to be good with female customers."

[Server:]: She gives you a bottle of scotch and tells you "Well Misstress Elizabeth is at the top floor though I recommend you stay here for a while first and have some fun gamble , drink or other fun as well she is in the middle of training a new female worker how to be a good maid herself and boy she does not like being interrupted."

Mistress Elizabeth? I finally found the leader of this Operation. It would appear this Mistress Elizabeth is the Shot Caller in the Factory. I'll take a mental note of that.

[Det.Winters] "You know what? That sounds good. If you can arrange a room for us that would be great."

He slips the Dealer fifty caps.

Later In The Room

Sitting on the bed in the room Detective Winter's replays the Things he's heard over and over again in his head. These Hellholes were all the same. Didn't matter if it was in Baton Rouge or Memphis.
Rich and Powerful people Exploiting the Weak and Poor.
Disgusting in nature. He would want nothing more than to deliver quick wasteland justice. Back before the UPD that is how Justice was Dispensed. Commit and crime and Punishment in the Form of Hot lead entering your skull was Dispensed.
To make matters worse another of UPD's finest had also been assigned this case. It was best if he avoided the other Detective. Best to just..
The Ladies Entering the Room brought him out of his Thought.

After a half an hour of fun with the two sisters latter you see the two of them french kissing in front of you nude trying to intise you to go for more or maybe sleep. However, there is a knock on the door its from a chem dealer asking if you want anything to have more fun while you have some more fun with the girls.

The Detective took a swig of the Scotch, looking at the Bartender.

[Detective Foster] "I'm a big player, so I aim big..."

Foster got up from the bar, adjusting his tie as he heads up to Elizabeth's room, on the way he sees a Guard in front of the stairway. The Guard pointed back, nudging him to head back into the main part of the joint. He looks around and sees nobody else but the Guard. But instead, Foster pours some of the Scotch in the Guard's eyes and kicks his goods, sending him down grunting.

[Detective Foster] "You people are so weak... So fragile. Scum..."

Foster dug in his suit pocket, extending a steel baton as he slams it against the Guard's head, sending him out cold. Foster fold his baton up and places it inside his suit, adjusting his tie as he heads up to meet Elizabeth.

The Detective thought of something, swapping clothes with the Guard he placed the suit on the Guard's unconscious body.

[Detective Foster] "I'm gonna miss that suit... Goodbye 120 Cap suit... We had fun memories." Foster sighed, placing the Guard's cap and shades on.

Foster dragged the Guard's unconscious body down the stairs, dragging him outside the Casino, throwing him out. Foster spoke to the two Guards outside.

[Detective Foster] "Aye, if this bugger gets up and tries to enter, bust a few in that expensive suit of his..."

Foster walked back to the stairwell, guarding it and waiting.

Joseph looked the Chem Dealer over..He noted a pistol tucked into his pants.
In that very moment it was as if something snapped in him. Like the Accumulation of his entire past reared his ugly head.
It was at that very moment he had a choice to make. Leave and Report back to Headquarters about what was going on here or Dispense Wasteland Justice. While the first was the better of the two options the severe lack of Evidence would lead to only Minor Charges and a Quick release. No this Mistress Elizabeth needed to be put out of Buisness. Permanently.

[Det. Winters] "Of Course. Come in. I won't Buy unless the Girls can test it first."

His Charisma was Charming and the Chem dealer entered the Casino Room with his supply in hand.

[Det. Winters] "Let me See what you have? Med-X? Yeah that will work."

Grabbing Two Vials he quickly did the math in his head. At the Current Dose in the Syringes each Prostitute would be knocked out cold for one Hour.

[Det. Winters] "Girls..I have a Treat for you."

The Detective handed the Girls the Med-X and watched as they Injected it into their Arms. Their Eyes Immediately began to Droop and a Few Moments later they were passed out.

[Det. Winters] "That's good stuff you have there. They needed a nap. Here..Let me Grab the Caps."

The Detective Reached for the Nearby table that had the Caps as well as his Beer bottle they gave him earlier. Grabbing the Bottle he quickly turned and Smashed it over the Dealers head before kicking him to the Ground.
With the Dealer on the Ground and Dazed Detective Winters Grabbed the Pistol that was tucked into the Dealers Pants and Smashed him over the head with it until his Skull cracked and Blood ran over the Ground.

Checking the Magazine that was in the Pistol he looked back at the Two naked girls and Sighed. They could have been so much fun.
Quickly undressing he swapped Outfits with the Chem dealer and tucked the Pistol into his pants before leaving the Room and making his way to the Locker which held his Contraband.
The Next part would be a Bit more Tricky.

Iron and Blood. Part 13: Storm of Shells

The LeFH guns that had been taken from Fort Moltke had been shipped down to the very doorstep of the Cause, ready to fire and resume the war. The guns fired, hammering the door that served as the Cause's shield. After an hour of bombardment, the door finally broke open, revealing the bodies of Guardsmen who had been protecting the door behind sandbags and machine guns. Sturmtruppen pushed up, clearing out a few remaining Guardsmen, and then pushed deeper into the facility. Pioneers followed behind, clearing out offshoot rooms that acted as pockets of resistance, clearing them with grenades. As the Sturmtruppen pushed deeper into the facility, they encountered fiercer and fiercer resistance, Guardsmen holding positions even as they were riddled with bullets and shrapnel. As the Guardsmen fell back and back, the spirits of the New Prussian rose, that is until they found that the Cause had sealed armored doors at key strongpoints, locking their own men and the New Prussians out from the rest of the the complex. Even though the remaining guardsmen fought with a ferocity previously unknown in the war, the Sturmtruppen, now reinforced with Knights of Polaris, pushed forward. Every corridor and room contained a Guardsman who fought to the death, every stretch of territory was a strongpoint. But it didn't matter, as more New Prussians poured in, the odds became clear, and the remaining Guardsmen were captured or killed. The few settlements in the area joined New Prussia, and the area of the base for the next operation, the floodgates had opened.

Casualties:

New Prussia/Knights of Polaris: 2,500
Cause: 2,000

500 integrated into New Prussia

After Flin had been secured, and the Führer informed, food, water, clothing, and builders were sent to repair the town. Buildings of adequate size were chosen to serve as a small local hospital and another as the local Reich-Staatspolizei station. City hall would continue to serve as the local administration building. Government agents were also sent to document people and give them proper papers. Losing these papers could be death should they leave and try to reenter Reich territory. A significant feeding program and corresponding propaganda program were also enacted in Flin. Old radio stations were also discovered allowing Reich engineers to salvage parts to repair the tower in the Flin airport and enough to repair a tower in New Franken. Soon radio contact could be established between the two.

Meanwhile...
Reports from scouts meet the Führer's ears of old pre war manufacturing plants in the old city of Detroit still salvageable and other points of interest there, but warned if super mutant and ghoul activity in the area. Also of a raider stronghold in control of the river crossing at old Sarnia. The Führer ordered General Ziegler to mobilize another regiment to secure Sarnia and the road leading there. He then dispatched a messenger with orders for Weber to secure the manufacturing plants in Detroit.

Southern Push: Part 5
Upon receiving his orders General Weber requested an RRT be sent behind him into Detroit to salvage anything valuable. Weber heard rumors that the old city of Detroit was a vehicle manufacturing hub pre war.
"Perhaps the old companies have information of value to the Reich's war machine," went through his mind.

Road to Detroit

Weber and 1st Regiment followed an old map which led them first to a town called Pontiac. This town was small about 500 people but friendly. There he met the town elder, a man named Matthias.
Matthias: "Tell me General..."
Weber: "Weber."
Matthias: "Yes, Weber, that's right! Tell me why are you and your men so far from home?"
Weber: "My Führer wants us to secure Detroit for our Reich. We do have a open arms policy to anyone who wishes to join us. We offer protection and basic necessities of life."
Matthias: "Oh I'm sure this little town would be of no value to you."
Weber: "Non sense my friend, I'll prove it. Is there anything you can tell me about the city?"
Matthias: "Me? No no, but my grandson tends to explore the ruin from time to time. I'll send for him."
Matthias requests some to fetch him.
Matthias: "This is my grandson John. John this is General Weber of the Reich."
John: "Pleasure sir."
Weber: "Your Grandfather says you know the city, what could you tell me about it?"
John: "For one it's crawling with super mutants and ghouls."
Weber: "That we know, how do you get in and out unharmed?"
John: "Since I was young I've set up connections on the roofs of the buildings. I go up and then come down when I see something worth grabbing."
Weber: "Could be useful, would you guide some of my best shooters to the rooftops tomorrow when we cleanse the city?"
John: "Sure why not?"
The next day the regiment marched towards Detroit. They met light resistance on the way, a mutant or ghoul here or there. When they reached the more compact part or the city a platoon of the best shots in the regiment followed John to the roof tops. As they moved the men had such a great advantage point over their targets they barely could take five steps without being gunned down. It wasn't until they reached the heart of the city that they had problems. More super mutants than they had ever seen before. They came from every corner some got close and killed men with giant clubs before their brains were splattered on the wall behind them. When the shooting seemed to be over two huge mutants ran through a building and onto the streets. The men unloaded on them until they were lying dead in the streets with a river of mutant blood running past the men's boots. The core of the city was taken it was up to the RRT who arrived just behind them after the fighting ended. The focus of the regiment now was to clear the area of anyone else.

General Ziegler and his men followed old I-69 to Sarnia, taking not of points of interest on the way. Most notably old wind power plants, many as far as the eye can see. When they arrived in Sarnia there was no one to be found. Everything was gone, it looked like they packed up and moved on. General Ziegler decided he would leave a battalion to clean up and fortify the crossing should raiders come back. He would take the rest of his men to see if he could aid General Weber in Detroit. They followed old I-94 south and came access old Selfridge Airport. There was an old Coast Guard base and Air National Guard Base there also. There was many broken down and aged helicopters and jets around. Regiment engineers expected they could salvage a few and get them working. They would at least be good enough to figure out how to make more. (Once repaired they would get three UH-60 Blackhawks and three F-4 Phantoms.)

Prologue: The Siege of Nuka World Part 1
Nuka World the large sign over the gates read, in bright yellow chipping paint on a crimson background. Cutter look at the sign with a sense of reverence, for a year he dreamt of this day. Finally they could take over the wrenched hole that hundreds of feral ghouls call home. The place was a fortress, with high walls around each park, many choke points and tight streets, even the terrain surrounding the amusement park provided Nuka World with a natural defense. It was the ideal place for any settlement and especially their operation.
A year ago, Cutter saw this potential of this bastion. A very profitable adventure for all companies involved. Of course it wasn’t easy to convince them to hear him out, much less to actually follow his plans. Nether the less here they were.
The first group were known as the Scrap Vultures, a strange group of tech obsessed scavvers with a robot fetish and a knack for replacing body parts with machines. They came from the west, and their leader was a power armor wearing scavver called RedEye. The next group, the Carnies. A wandering band of freaks, the traveled around through the south. They were an unstable group at best, but their leader, a man simply called the Ringmaster held them together. The last we’re the supposed hunters from the north, called the Herd. They were a nomadic group, similar to the Carnies, but instead of just traveling around for no reason, they were always hunting. Wearing the bones and pelts of the beast and other things they killed. They were a savage group. Feral like the ghouls, their leader was a man known as Alpha. Together these three unlikely groups agreed to work together to obtain a great prize. Cutter would give them their prize, after all this is the opportunity of a life time. Looking at the leaders and groups behind him, Cutter raises his assault rifle and shouts only one word,
“Death!”
and then charges through the gates, where the enemy waits for them. It wasn’t long before the others followed him, howling, bellowing, and laughing. As the charged in, the ferals they laid sprawled through the park began to rise. Soon the two hordes met in bloodshed.
The siege for Nuka World had just begun.

Blood for Freedom. Part 4: The Zealot of Fear

"You've gambled everything, and you're failing!" Blaine yelled at Samuel, who knelt before him. "Ever since your plan has gone ahead, we've lost two battles, and our own sacred ground!" "My lord," Blaine pleaded, the brand on his face standing out as cold sweat traced down his face, "There are only so many of the New Prussians and Knights of Polaris, all we need do is bleed them dry. Let our conscripts handle them as best as possible, and then bring in our elite troops towards the end. That should give them both a false sense of security and a chance for us to bleed them." At that, Blaine's temper abated somewhat. "Very well," he said, "but I'm assigning Simon to be your co-commander on this operation." Samuel looked up, "Who did you have in mind my lord?" "Simon." At that moment, another entered. It was Simon, a dreaded commander who had risen up through the ranks and was one of the few human generals within the ranks of the Cause. His face was scarred by burns sustained during the Purges, when one uncooperative soldier turned a blowtorch on Simon, leaving a deep burn, and one eye milky white. "What is it my lord?" Simon asked in a voice resembling sandpaper scraping on metal. "I have a mission for you," Blaine said, "show these so-called New Prussians what it means to fear our fury." Simon looked up, and said, "It shall be done my lord." As Samuel and Simon left, Blaine cackled at the thought of who he had just unleashed on his enemies. Oh Yes he thought, They will know the true meaning of fear soon.

Multiple gunshots were heard outside, the two female Guards outside shot up the disguised Guard that Detective Foster set up. Detective Foster was on the stairway that led to Elizabeth's office. Foster walked up to the door, changing his voice tone, banging on the door. Foster dug into his jacket, pulling out a steel baton and extending it out, but it wasn't visible as it was held behind him. Detective Foster stood at the door with a Guard uniform on, glasses and a hat. Foster turned, pulling out his UPD handheld radio, tuning into the police dispatch, he whispered into the radio quickly before she answered the door.

[Detective Foster (Radio)] "Calling all Ohio flatfoot and SWAT units, report to the Ashland Inc. Factory. Standby for further instruction, keep hidden until given the go to cease the location. Take as many suspects as you can."

Foster put his radio back in his suit, waiting for Elizabeth to answer.

CINCINNATI, OHIO, CINCINNATI POLICE DEPARTMENT

A squad of 24 Senior Officers and a platoon of 30 SWAT Units geared up and was headed towards the Ashland Inc. Factory. The Officers wore Ballistic Vests and the SWAT Units wore Ballistic Helmets, and Vests, as well as elbow pads and kneepads.

FRANKFORT, KENTUCKY

A police dispatch call was sent through, originating at the Kentucky State Capitol Building in Frankfort. A group of three Senior Officers was sent over from the Georgetown Police Department, all wearing ballistic vests. The police dispatch call was a report of an armed robbery in progress, the mayor's documents and valuables were being robbed. The Mayor himself was shot twice in the stomach and left to bleed out in his office while the suspects attempt to find the "fraudulent" documents are and his Bottlecap stash password. The three Officers approach the front of the building, hearing commotion from within the building. Officer Luke departs from the group and enters the building, aiming a 10mm Tommy Gun around as he looks around the Capitol Building.

[Senior Officer Luke] "UPD! COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP!"

With that, Officer Hudson and Officer Patrick enter the building and roam the building. After Luke announced their presence, the building went eerily quiet. Luke turned around the corner, but a Raider slams the stock of his Shotgun in the Officer's face. Officer Luke staggers, pressing the trigger. The Tommy Gun recoiled in the Officer's hands as he staggered back, nearly falling on his back. He caught himself, seeing the Raider clutch at his chest as his body was pumped full of 10mm Rounds. The Raider falls to the floor, dead. Luke adjusted himself before he continued through the building, meeting a group of two Raiders, Luke took cover as he opened fire on the two. Both of the Raiders fell on their backs, groaning and yelling in pain before silence. Multiple other shots rang out around the Capitol Building from both Hudson and Patrick, as they cleared out the Raiders. The three Officers met together as they stood before the Mayor's office door. A shotgun blast rang out as Officer Hudson staggered back quickly, falling over. Hudson's stomach leaked out blood, as his face displayed agony and pain. Patrick and Luke kicked in the doors, opening fire on the Raider with the shotgun. They secured the Mayor, leaving Patrick to put pressure on his wounds. Luke returned to Hudson, but it was too late, his facial features were stuck into place and his chest no longer puffed with oxygen, a blood pile originated from his corpse. Luke sighed, walking back into the Mayor's Office and searched for medical supplies. There was a Stimpak in the Mayor's desk along with some Jet, which Officer Luke mentally noted. The Mayor was injected with the Stimpak and was tended to with makeshift bandages. An hour passed, with Luke maintaining a watchful eye on the Mayor.

[Mayor Reedes] "It's... It's about time- some heroes infest this t-town... The UPD is... Is welcome to the Frankfort Police Department if they wish... W-Wish to watch over... Ove..."

The Mayor fell asleep, but Officer Luke quickly got onto the Police Dispatch, getting communication with the Lexington Justice Department.

[Senior Officer Luke (Radio)] "We took Frankfort under our wing. Frankfort still has a Raider problem that will need a sweep though."

[Justice Department Desk Worker (Radio)] "10-4, will relay to the higher ranks."

Quickly the high ranks of the UPD were notified and Frankfort was now open for domestic patrolling and frequent investigations to Field Officers and up. A few Officers were then transported to the Frankfort Police Department and began setting up basic necessities such as maintaining to the interior, setting up dispatch, and etc. A few days pass after the encounter and the UPD is patrolling the streets, helping citizens with Raiders threatening their crops, solving domestic crimes, setting up domestic investigations, and eliminating the local criminal organizations slowly but surely. Officer Hudson's body was buried in front of the Capitol Building where his police cap was laid upon his grave, to which Luke is under mourning. Soon, the settlers began growing attached to the UPD, calling upon their help when they are faced with conflict. The UPD was there for the settlers, and they trusted their methods. And with this new expansion, people of Frankfort began the recruitment process to the UPD.

After making his way to the Locker that housed his personal Belongings Detective Winters Rushed up the Stairs to Greet Detective Foster who was stationed at the Door.

[Det. Winters] "Elizabeth has to be behind this Door."

Looking down at the Detective's hand he noticed the baton that he tucked behind his back.

[Det. Winters] "Why are you bringing a baton to a gun fight?"

Moving his shirt he Withdrew the Semi-Auto pistol tucked into his pants. Now with a gun in each hand he Shouted.

[Det. Winters] "Elizabeth! Let's make this easy for both of us! Open the door and tell your goons to Stand down!"

When no Answer came he turned towards Detective Foster.

[Det. Winters] "Your call Detective. We need to get in there now."

Foster smirked, looking at Winter. Foster lifted his shirt a bit, revealing a ballistic vest under his Guard uniform.

[Detective Foster] "Trust me, I can handle myself with a baton." Foster laughed. "I suppose we should breach the door and take the criminalistc scumbags down."

Foster backed up, rushing up to the door to kick it down. And with that, the door would fall off the hinges. Foster and Winters stood before Elizabeth and her goons. Foster pulled out his .44 Magnum, having a baton in one hand and Magnum in his other hand.

[Detective Foster] "UPD, put your hands where I can see them..."

Foster raised his Magnum to Elizabeth, aiming it straight between her eyes.

[Detective Foster] "Get on your knees now, hands on your head..."
