The way I see it, we never have any right to excuse people of their actions, but we can be more lenient - say more warnings than usual - for people that are respected, notable, and contributing members of our community. Even then, they should not get off easy. For example, Kampf gets to talk about the clap of his ass cheeks without getting banned whereas a newly founded nation probably couldn’t. That doesn’t mean we will hesitate to ban Kampf if he goes too far, but he has earned a fair bit of leniency by being an active member of our community. We know him, we know he’s chill. We don’t know fledglings that just join our region and immediately break site rules.

VTEC (Variable Valve Timing & Lift Electronic Control) is a system developed by Honda to improve the volumetric efficiency of a four-stroke internal combustion engine, resulting in higher performance at high RPM, and lower fuel consumption at low RPM. The VTEC system uses two (or occasionally three) camshaft profiles and hydraulically selects between profiles. It was invented by Honda engineer Ikuo Kajitani. It is distinctly different from standard VVT (variable valve timing) systems which change only the valve timings and do not change the camshaft profile or valve lift in any way.
