Is that the first State of the Union speech you have ever watched? I've seen about 40 of them and it goes the same way. The President's party (whichever it is at the time) stands and cheers loudly while the opposition party sits stoically and occasionally shows mild approval.

I understand, but the military is getting less money in, so that way some country can attack. I'm not saying that Trump is doing the wrong thing, I'm just thinking of what may happen.
I'd rather it be politics rather than the meme and spam that's been occurring for the past few hours.

It's not the Illegal immigrants, it's other countries I'm worried about.
Well, it wouldn't be such drastic cuts that the military would loose all active capability.
Plus, the US's military is overkill if what you're worried about is domestic defense. If needed, we could simply ditch our world influence, sell a lot of our assets, and then bring our soldiers back home and strengthen our home base considerably.
I'd be under the impression that the US cutting its fundings would result in stronger domestic defense...
Then again, I don't know anything. ^-^
Most shootings happen in areas where guns are not allowed, like gun free zones and sanctuary cities. Criminals don't care about the law.
Declaring a National Emergency is constitutional. Obama and several other presidents before Trump declared National Emergencies and the media didn't whine one bit about it.
At my school I have this really annoying friend who talks about nothing, but politics. Every day I have to listen to him rant about how he thinks the country should be run. I keep trying to get him to stop talking about stupid Trump and even stupider Hillary, but he still brings up politics at least once a day. It drives me insane.
As a result, I no longer give a -redacted- about politics and if you continue to talk about politics I will invade your nation and wipe it off the face of Valsora.
This is true, but sometimes cutting just a little bit of funding for military and or defense does cut drastically.
But who do I care, I'm just sitting here up in Detroit freezing my butt off in this one bed apartment.

But you're saying that illegal immigrants are killing everyone. I'm saying that anyone can kill anyone.
It doesn't matter who you are, if you wished it, you could do it.
So yes, you can reduce shootings if reduce illegal immigration, but shootings are still going to happen.
