Ah...sorry ;)

Pap sculgief, how do you propose to keep citizens updated on the going-ons of the government?
Terttia and Santa lucia, you both proposed similar ideas for a new ministry. Why is it necessary? Why can't citizens just contact government officials directly?
Santa lucia, regarding your "regional TV", do you think these could be hosted by a regional newspaper as well and published by the newspaper?
So I would hope to have weekly RMB broadcasts and region-wide TGs sent out, however I’m not on offsite forums, so I’d focus more on NS, rather than forums
That's ok, the forums are being used currently anyway.
Thank you!
Sorry for my late response.
From my personal experience and observations, I feel like when nations are given a role to do by the government, they will be far more active in the region and feel like they would really merge into the TDU community. I would also mandate that every citizen of TDU must do their service in the executive staff. This includes new citizens and current citizens as well. My reasoning for this would be to make sure that it is fair for everyone.
1) Personally, I want to see a far larger and broader community in TDU, that discusses a variety of topics not just regarding politics and takes part in fun roleplay. I would try to get to know the fellow citizens of TDU and poll them on what topics they would like to discuss and host debates to further discussion.
2) I would suggest the addition of activities such as debating and quizzes to create a fun and engaging experience for all our citizens.
East meranopirus, I think that a Ministry of Public Affairs is necessary because citizens, in my opinion, should have an accountable government. We should have this ministry because citizens should not have to feel badly for any reason about asking members of the government any question directly. Instead, citizens would just contact this ministry if they wish to have anonymity regarding a question.
I don't think currently and in the past any citizens have had problems contacting government members. This ministry would seem pretty redundant to me, handling only very rare cases. Even so, how could they be kept anonymous, if it is ultimately under control of the government?
So, I think that regional TV can also be managed by the newspaper, but the fact that there is a special space for regional TV I consider it very important.
Excuse me, but when will the elections take place?
Arrrgh, lost track of time. It'll be started as soon as I have time.
Meanwhile, let's welcome our newest member, Larger albania. I hope the welcome telegram will help you get settled in the region. If you have any questions you can contact Prime Minister East meranopirus. We strongly suggest you join the World Assembly and endorse our Delegate Handal Ands.

OK ;)
East meranopirus, I believe that, as the region gets larger, this ministry probably see more questions. I know that we’ve never had any issues of anonymity, but as with all governments, there will be one. As for under control of the government, maybe the minister should take an oath of office, and if they break their oath, they will come under prosecution. The ministry will not be effected by any other ministry and will answer to the Prime Minister, except when anonymity comes into question.
I think an oath would be better to cover all government officials. I haven't yet seen any region in NS do something like you proposed, and I haven't seen any issues with anonymity in even the biggest regions, except in cases of people doing illegal things or leaking secret things. Criticism of the government and suggestions should be open, not hidden away.

I've decided that your region is an embassy collector (with over 200 embassies), which means establishing an embassy is worthless.
Additional reasons include the general lack of professionalism, a non-functioning government, the fact that you are giving out officer positions basically to whoever joins, and labelling people who have left your region as traitors
no traitors are people formerly involved with the goverment,
we do not give out officer positions,
we just want strong ties with lots of regions to create a sort of we defend each other alliance
I see you creating lots of embassies and see no desire to create any "strong ties".
Your recruitment telegrams offered free positions to people who join.
You've also relentlessly sent out recruitment telegrams but made no efforts on the actual region, and asked newcomers to spend their own money to recruit.
Hence, we see no value in keeping embassies.
What is happening with embassies is exactly why I want an embassy policy! It gets rid of confusion and settles issues like we’ve seen here that really shouldn’t have to escalate. Vote for me to help get rid of confusion!
