Probably made Mao roll over in his Mausoleum.

Actually judging by the flag it seems this “comrade” is a nazbol, something we don’t take to kindly to around these parts...
Seems I may have to get out my hammer. Apologies for not seeing it sooner, ig I didn’t realize last night in my tired delirium haha.

Czechoslovakia and zakarpatia

Is addressing issues the only way to change my equal state? I'm very new to the game

Only difference is down the side it says “中国工农红军”, “Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army”. The normal one says, “中华苏维埃共和国”, “Chinese Soviet Republic”.

Except it’s traditional, so:

中国工农红军 > 中國工農紅軍
and
中华苏维埃共和国 > 中華蘇維埃共和國

Indeed. :)

I’ve been studying for a year! I can only write (not too well, that is!) in simplified, but often you can read the traditional and make sense because they look similar

Grind ink?

East ustya wrote:Grind ink?

Yes, the ink stick is made of pine charcoal and you grind it against the stone to release the particulates and mix with a small spoon of water to make wonderful, thick, black ink for calligraphy

I’m talking about capitalists, not bourgeois people who happen to be sociaist.

Brightbayuniversity wrote:The (Chinese) Cultural Revolution allowed some very evil people to obtain a dangerously powerful position, eliminated substantive rights of many members of the proletarian class, caused significant numbers of death in horrible forms, increased bourgeois confidence, alienated former communists and allies... Even weighing the positive aspects of the Chinese Culturel Revolution, it was a failure by many standards.
Please do not accuse me of being ```anti-revolutionary```.
Please mention me or message me on TCB / NSLeft discord for supporting materials.

I am not against revolutions in the field of culture in general. Consumerist, combatant religions/athiest-fundamentalist, ethno-nationalist, obedient, violent, anti-intellectualist [+...] 'cultures' are tripleplusungood.
I reflect that violent suppression of culture cause backlash and apparently make us evil.
I reflect that re-modeling culture based on dogma/(single-perspective theory) may be unviable.
I reflect that persisting unviable cultural engineering programs without learning from feedback may amplify disasters.
I reflect that certain aspects of culture should not and cannot be savagely crashed.
I reflect that the sustainable construction of multiple alternative cultural identities make take time and patience.
I reflect that destroying cultural heritage, especially those of marginalized groups, is doubleplusungood and may be viewed as an act of cultural genocide.
I reflect that an emgeneered revolution may dismantle a plusungood capitalist culture, but cannot supply an alternative that fits in its predecessor's place in the social-ecosystem.
If it is arguable that the cultural genocide of Indigenous Americans by Imperialist/Colonial powers and the replacement of the good aspects (and ungood aspects) of pre-consumerist cultures with consumerist cultures can be categorized as imperialist 'cultural revolution,' then cultural revolutions can be evil.
Extreme caution (including research, consent, information, constant reflection, less-biased reporting, openness, transparency, cooperation... and the willingness to halt doing detriment and acknowledge past/current wrongs) is advised.

The cultural revolution was great, it’s shame that there weren’t more of them around the world.

The Cultural Revolution was essentially Byzantine Iconoclasm in all but name.
