RP: TRANSHUMANIST PERFECTION

Itherum is a society based on the Red and White Book's ideology of a perfect human who preforms all his duties and has no flaws. After many wars, many genocides and many different events a united empire finally emerged from the broken kingdoms and principalities, all revolving around Conduism. Technology went far and with that did the biological research, with which the ideology mended together - for the start, to create the perfect soldier, a soldier perfect to fight and die yet a soldier who felt barely to no fear but had arrogance that could kill. It did not matter who they were before as long as their body was somewhat athletic, their identity and knowledge was taken away and their body became a completely new vessel who only knew one thing; the Conduist Empire. The transhuman soldier was hypnotized by the pure mention of conduism and although he did not socialize but rather awaited in stasis, he dreamt of a Conduist world where all were perfect.

The Conduist Overwatch Transhuman Arm soldier is heavily augmented, highly trained and well equipped to perform effective suppression of any active enemy forces who move against the assets, objectives and forces of the Conduist Empire. They are the backbone of the Empire's military over any synthetic forces for one very good reason; their humanity. The sole purpose of spending the resources to research & develop the methods to: transhumanize, recruit, equip, train and deploy these soldiers to the battlefield comes in the very essence of who they are, or were, as beings. With the part of them that remains human from the knowledge of their species ranging from military strategy and tactics to human emotions, they become a lethal advantage over their human counterparts. Whereas synthetic forces who were most likely captured as various feral species in the vast land were more suited to their former environments, the transhuman arm serves as a much needed adaptation to counter the threat of active warfare against foreign dominion.

To insure loyalty, quality and ultimately effectiveness, each soldier is heavily augmented and trained to be for the Empire and nothing else. The memories of their past as the humans they were before the purges are but a distant and forever lost memory. As they forge forwards in their new bodies and altered minds their new memories and experiences are crafted and fine tuned by unexplainable technology which discernibly has great effect on their ability to perform in combat on the front lines and in the command role. They retain their basic human emotions to an extent that, through rigorous trial and error, was deemed by their creators to not be of interference with their duties as the Empires's soldiers. From anger, fear and fatigue, these soldiers in many ways differ greatly from soldiers today while at the same time sharing many commonalities.

Through the many years of research and development that it took to create the Overwatch soldier, their Benefactors have worked hard on perfecting them as a tool to use to fine sculpt a center of power and control in a empire they're still very new to. They have kept what gives them an edge over their opponent, their understanding of them and even an empathy for their fatigue or stress. But they have thrown away their sympathy for them, any doubts that they are in fact the enemy and their objective as a soldier to both follow the orders of their superior whilst also giving no quarter to the enemy. Honor from service, brotherhood amongst compatriots and a commitment to obedience towards the Empire is the only thing they know to a certainty. Each soldier intends to fill and serve these functions until the day comes where they give their life in battle.

Balancing the budget

“Let’s get on with the meeting, gentlemen,” Tiberius sat down in his chair at the head of the table. The whole government was in attendance. “The first item on the agenda is the population problem as the minister for labor social security put it. You were to prepare a review of the problem, minster Maltus.”

“Indeed, Mr President,” the man nodded. He tapped at the table and a hologram lit up above it. It displayed different graphs and a large map of Polarisium with certain regions brighter than others. “As you can see,” Maltus pointed at the graphs, “our population is effectively stagnating. This is not a problem on its own, as the droids and AIs are handling more and more jobs, but this does mean that our potential for developing new territories is limited.

You can see the most populated areas highlighted on the map,” the minister pointed out, “obviously the home islands, the western regions continent and Domus Australis. The Inegore island and the Laterum islands are not developed while the northern regions of our peninsula are scarcely populated, which ultimately limits their development.”

“What is the economic damage in the long run?” Tiberius asked. Exposition was nice and all, but every man and woman in the room knew their statistics very well and this was dragging on for long enough.

“While it is hard to give exact numbers, our estimates suggest that the lost GDP will be in the trillions in a decade,” the minister for economics replied.

“I presume you have a proposal on how to solve this problem?” Tiberius asked the minister for labor.

“The minister for economics and I have discussed the issue at length, Mr President,” Maltus said. “We have come to a conclusion that economic stimulation will be required if some of our citizens are to move to what is basically wildlands. Especially if we are talking about the Laterum islands.”

“With all due respect,” Theodore Scato, the minister for foreign affairs interrupted, “you have to realize that establishing settlements on the Laterum islands will bring a lot of... noise from certain nations.”

“Those will babble regardless of what we do, minister,” Tiberius replied. “I know that we intended to conduct negotiations regarding the independence of the archipelago, but the Usdo Pact is gang of thugs. I think it is clear at this point that they are not interested in cooperation. Therefore, the value of these islands as bargaining chips is nonexistent.”

“If you think so, Mr President,” Scato nodded, albeit with some reluctance. “In that case, we should be prepared for further escalation.”

“This is all bark and no bite,” Hadrian Feristo, head of the High Command said. “We have a fully established naval base on the islands - missiles and all. The 2nd Fleet is there and the 1st Fleet is anchored at the Inegore base. Mandawaians and their ilk can posture all they want but everyone knows the only real power in their alliance is Servoth.”

“Gentlemen,” Tiberius interrupted, as it seemed everyone was about to say their piece. The argument paused. “The reaction of the Usdo Pact is completely irrelevant. It will have no bearing on our policies beyond formulating contingency measures. Now then, minister Maltus, you were about to speak on economic incentives.”

“Indeed, Mr President,” the man nodded. “The analysis does not give any conclusive results as to whether or not we should stimulate population growth, but it is apparent that people are needed in the new territories. We need to move no more than half a million to effectively jump-start the development of our new islands and the northern regions.”

“And how do we stimulate it?” Tiberius asked. “I presume you will propose one-time bonus for every settler and some regular payments.”

“Yes,” Maltus nodded. “We can obviously build new spires easily, so a new and large home for every settler seems like a reasonable one-time bonus, while monthly payments of two thousand marks will make living in the new regions significantly more affordable and less challenging.”

Tiberius did a quick math.

“So that will be about 12 billion marks annually...” he stated. The minister nodded. “Our budget is currently balanced, we don’t have extra 12 billion marks, ” Tiberius said. “Where do you propose to get that money?”

“Borrowing, sir,” the monster for economics replied.

There was a pregnant pause. Having a budget deficit was something off a sore spot for the liver-conservatives and Tiberius as well. Everyone understood that.

“We’ll be slaughtered in the Parliament if we come there with this budget proposal,” Tiberius spoke at last. “I don’t care what we do, but we need to get those 12 billion marks without any IOUs. Constructing those spires will generate enough debt as it is, I don’t want to add regular expenses to this.”

“We could potentially limit our expenditures on the military,” the minister for defense said. “We were planning to launch a new project, another aircraft carrier. That money could be allocated toward economic incentives.”

“And what do you think, Mr Feristo?” Tiberius raised an eyebrow at the head of the High Command.

“It is affordable,” the man frowned. “We aren’t relying on aircraft carriers too much and the rest of the naval expansion will still give us new missile cruisers and submarines. I have no objections.”

“Then it’s decided,” Tiberius nodded. “Now, let’s discuss the Minerva project,” he looked at the minister for defense.

“It is proceeding as planned,” minister replied. “We expect it to be complete either at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next one. Our experts estimate that after the Minerva is operational the money saved on the upkeep of our space navy could be allocated toward the expansion of said space navy.”

“Good,” Tiberius nodded. “What about the personnel, supplies?”

“We have enough of everything, sir,” the minister replied. “The drones and AI’s are really making everything much easier.”

“Splendid,” Tiberius allowed himself a small smile. “Onto another topic then...”

A Movement of Instruments

"Within the past week, unmistakable evidence has established the fact that a series of offensive missile sites are now active on the two imprisoned islands. To halt this offensive build-up, a strict quarantine of all foreign naval traffic to either of the two Netyaawisi islands is being initiated. It shall be the policy of the Usdo Pact, as always, to regard any strike - whether by a Polarean WMD or not - launched against any member state of the Usdo Pact as an attack by the Federal Republic of Polarisium on all member states, requiring a full retaliatory response upon Polarisium.

All allied commands have been notified and CDEFRA 3 procedures are to be activated within the following 28 hours.”

28:00

The allied fleet arrives in full force in Valkoinen bay. The fleet lingers in Aatelisian waters for a few hours before initiating a slow turn towards Ruzalka.

Leaving old friends: AAXIT

The Council was fill to the brim with members. with ships and planes near Aatelisia, it sends a signal that none on the Council could believe: possible threat of invasion. As such, Arvo has began a vote, on whether the Republic shall stay with TRAMEC, or abandon it.

“We should’ve always expected TRAMEC to stay at the wayside!” Sari, The current leader of the NAB shouted with tenacity.

“As much as I hate to say it, I have to agree with Sari.” Reima of the CAB stated bluntly. “We can’t expect any support from our Southern Allies as of current. They deem several Islands far more safe for their keeping than avoiding conflict.”

“It’s those damn Polarisians that caused this!” one of the Councilors shouted, with severals agreements coming from the crowd.

Arvo Laaksonen sighed, “Let’s not blame any nation here or there. It’s clear enough to me at least that we are far enough away from our southern Allies to vote on the issue.”

“You all speak like children!” Annukka, leader of the reformists, stated. “It’s our southern allies that have seen us grow exponentially in economics! We can’t turn our backs in this time of crisis!”

“Oh, please Annukka.” Sari replied. “You and I both know full well that some of our ‘Friends’ are more aligned to Anarcho-Capitalists than any form of Government.”

“Which Nation? Celoniae?”

Sari Nodded. “Celoniae and Anarcho-Capitalists go hand in hand. Just like that old debate from the soda companies. I remember as a little girl asking the salesman ‘Sir, is there anything different between my two drinks?’, which he kindly replied. ‘Oh yes! One is filled with Sugar, the other is filled with Carbohydrates!’

now, all grown up, I see truly that both beverages are the same, and the only difference between Celoniaens and Anarcho-Capitalists is that one is Filled with Capitalists, and the other, Dictators.”

Almost immediately there was uproar in the Council. Shouting and insults were now being thrown on all sides. After near half an hour of constant noise, the council was silenced by Arvo. “Enough! While it may be clear enough to pick which side you’re on, nothing is decided until we call for a vote. Now all of you sit!”

All of the councilors soon found their way to their seats, in which many glared at members of the council as they passed.

“Now, let’s get this vote started. There’ll be no ifs or maybes, simple yes or no.”

The Councilors slowly voted, and were finally counted: 44 voted against Aaxit from TRAMEC, while 56 voted for. None said anything after the vote, except for Arvo, his face blank. “Very well. I shall make the announcement public.”

Palatsinlinna, 3 hours after the vote was held

Cameras flashed and recorders played, all fixated on Arvo, who looked down for a second, and looked back up. “A vote has been held by the Council, and has been passed: Aatelisia shall formally leave TRAMEC, and be declared by the Republic A dead organization.

------------------------

The Republic itself doesn't Condone the Phrase of "A Dead Organization," and shall still refer to TRAMEC in most events. however, many will still use it as a battlecry against TRAMEC if they are within Aatelisia.

Aatelisia Mobilizes

With Aatelisia now formally out of TRAMEC, the Nation declares two guarantees:

-It will be Neutral throughout the Conflict between The usdo pact and The trans-mediastrum commonwealth

-It will open relations with its Neighbors

As well as these, Aatelisia formally Mobilizes, as it faces possible hostility from both TRAMEC and Usdo. Here are the facts:

-The National Guard shall be Mobilized and placed on important ports in Aatelisia.

-More Military equipment and soldiers shall be placed on the Largest Island in the Bay.

-The Army Reserves (500,000 Personnel), shall begin being Mobilized immediately.

Aatelisia would also like to formally states its right as a sovereign nation and it has the right to self determination.

The New Order

Lucius Pollux sat back in the Directorate Building of Arx as the results of the election came in. Only his newly named Ruzalkan Front for Fatherland and People were allowed to field candidates. The nation was given a Bank Holiday in order to ensure a high election turnout, which hit an all time high of 73%. The bars were full, as the election had been playing on all available television and radio programmes. There was little else to do for entertainment.

A knock sounded at Pollux's door. "Enter." He called out, putting ice in his glass of Ruzalkan whiskey.

His Chairman for Military, Michael Thomas entered the room, giving a Ruzalkan salute, by forming a fist, and raising his arm to form an L shape pointing up. "Director." He shouted, keeping his arm at place.

Pollux returned his salute. "Chairman." He gestured for the seat at his desk for Thomas to take a seat, which he took, and poured another glass of whiskey. "As expected, the elections went over without incident. The Ruzalkan Senate building should be open within a number of weeks." Pollux told him.

"Thats ahead of schedule Director." Thomas stated. He began to adjust himself in his chair. "Its good to have a legislative chamber to provide some semblance of democracy, and of course to help ease the burden of the workload from the directorate.

"Have the troops claimed the Republic of Tanei to our south with ease?" Pollux asked.

"Minimal casualties reported, but yes sir." Thomas took a small drink, before continuing "The election provided us with the perfect cover to begin the invasion. The republic is now under full occupation, and our troops are beginning policing efforts. However sir, we have received new information from Aatelisia. They have left TRAMEC.

Pollux stood up and looked out his office's window. "I bear no ill will towards TRAMEC. If USDO had not have contacted us first, we would even considered working with them, however we needed the guarantee." He turned around and looked directly at Chairman Thomas. "However it is a possible ally for our nation, and its populist government aided our revolution. We shall return our debts. I shall issue their government a full guarantee of Ruzalkan support for future endeavours, and of course i'll inform that we are sending several aircraft with pilots to ensure their independence."

"It shall be done sir." Thomas said, noting down what Pollux ordered on paper. "However, the nation is awaiting your speech, and the Directorate has gathered in the foyer. Shall we?"

Pollux stood up before making his way to the foyer. As he stood on the balcony, several state TV broadcasters began turning on their cameras. Members of the Directorate had gathered and formed a small crowd to the foyer.

"People of Ruzalka, we have just shown the world that Ruzalka is once again on the upturn. As life returns to our streets, we must reflect on ourselves going forward.

We live in an age of greed, violence and destruction. There are those amongst us, who would shatter our hopes for peace order and prosperity. Indeed, the very seat of the federal government, Arx, was decimated by communist supporters!

Let me ask you, how did it come to this? How did our leaders allow us to fall so far? The answer is simple. Incompetence. Cowardice. A clear lack of will, and selling out our nation for foreign interests! This, at the highest echelons of power! We put our trust, our faith, in halfwits. Our intrepid leaders had everything they wanted! Power. Wealth. Prestige. And it made them lazy! And laziness breeds stupidity!"

The crowd directorate began to clap at Pollux's firery speech. "Some dare call us traitors, but let me say, that If today I stand here as a revolutionary, it is as a revolutionary against the Revolution. There can be no such things as treason to the traitors of the republic, who sold our nation out time and time again.

It is our time now, to break the chains which for so long has hampered our ability to breathe. By no means shall we suffer anything which infringes upon our national sovereignty, and we shall reclaim the Ruzalkan islands, our ultimate birthright. Those who stand in our way shall be removed by any means necessary!

A New Order has emerged! Together in Ruzalka, we have lit a flame that the ages shall not extinguish!"

The crowd cheered, as Lucius Pollux finished his speech. Ruzalka was slowly getting back on its feet, with the directorate at its head. While Pollux insisted a new flame was lit, it seemed as if the light of liberty had been extinguished.

The trans-mediastrum commonwealth

Saying Goodbye

++Transmitting Message++

The Council of TRAMEC is largely upset that Aatelisia will be leaving our organization but we do respect his decision for leaving us and we will guarantee its neutrality in the event of a conflict. The council has come to the decision and here is the following list from its recent emergency agenda:

-In order to prevent total war between the The trans-mediastrum commonwealth and the The usdo pact. We are open to negotiations to keep the peace and are open to what the Pact is willing to dicuss over the table; while TRAMEC forces will be on standby mode when negotiations is ongoing between the two alliances.

-We humbly respect Aatelisia's decision. However, We still need to hash out some terms with leaving TRAMEC as leaving the organization still requires mending.

-After dicussion among member states before Aaxit. That in light of the unprovoked aggression from the Usdo Pact, TRAMEC is forced to consider its future and security. Therefore, the Commonwealth HC (High Command) is established. Standardization of military equipment will begin once the conflict with the Usdo pact is resolved while standardization of bureaucratic side of national militaries of members is already complete.

-To The usdo pact, we expect a reply on coming to the negotiating table within 1 day after this message.

The republic of glasgow

Leader stared out of his window, the widow in his place of office which looked right over the River Clyde and the whole of the City of Glasgow.

He smiled to himself, a smile which quickly turned into a scowl as his arthritis played up. It had been a long time since the Secession of the city from the Imperialist's and much had changed. He had changed, his city had changed, a city no longer, a nationstate of it's own.

RP: INCORPORATION OF SOUTHERN STATE

I.) PARTIAL MOBILIZATION OF RESERVES

A total of 300.000 transhumanist units were pulled from stasis and refitted for potential frontline zone service after a series of feature overhauls and adjustments to new deployment regulations.

Legion "OMEGA" was formed under command of generals staff 05031 and dispatched southwards by fast military railroads alongside the coastline.

II.) LEGIONARY DEPLOYMENT

COTA and CONA deployment in the southern region became imminent and was made known to the general public through civilian Conduist cells present within the capital and smaller cities around it.

Conduism became a popular ideology in the southern land with the rise of the empire and much sympathy for it was given by most political parties. Propaganda leaflets were dropped in the hundreds of thousands on the borderland towns and villages.

Anti-Itherumi militias formed within the state and began arming themselves while the government itself disbanded the conscription policy and entered negotiations with Itherumi embassy officials regarding the potential integration of the southern state into the empire under some form of autonomy.

Although at first promises of autonomy were given out, the Itherumi military made the existance of these militias clear and this shut of all autonomy negotiations as the newly formed Legion crossed the border. Airwatch fighter squadrons were dispatched for scouting and interception runs while the infantry, who was all mechanized, began setting up in the borderlands and not advancing yet. Vital roads, positions and especially bridges were garrisoned by elite formations of the Overwatch with air support.

Anti-Conduist militias deployed in the borderlands though suffered heavy casualties before the initial engagements as several truck convoys were bombarded by aerial forces. Overwatch light infantry battalions deployed forward of the main formations engaged militant forces within the woodland.

Scanners were attached to every infantry squadron and many provided footage that was utilized for propaganda and displayed all over the empire and the southern region, which soon resulted in a uprising in the capital that overthrew the current government and set up a provisional Conduist government that entered talks of joining the empire. Overwatch began their advance towards their capital which would be quickly taken and put under military rule till it became part of the empire.

5 more mechanized infantry divisions were deployed by CONA (Overwatch navy) by the eastern-most ports and deployed alongside the borderlands where auxiliary police and pro-Conduist militias were formed in support of the present Itherumi transhumanist forces.

A new Emperor A New Plan

I sat outside my meager apartment building looking forward to nothing but another slow lazy day of unemployment. Six months ago my factory had almost entirely automated and I was laid off. Thus far I had been living on government subsidence which covered all my needs but it wasn’t enough for what I wanted and for a ring for Tolzah.

My roommate had the olympics on the television and was ogling on the Marosian women who were playing against the Nerokhorians. To be fair they were busty and attractive but he took it a bit to far. I honestly don’t think he even liked sports but to each his own I guess. Suddenly the news snapped onto the television screen overriding the broadcasts on every channel.

The Imperial Office filled the television screen with it’s desk and flags hanging behind the Emperor’s son Dorehv. He looked up to the camera and spoke.

“Today at 4:53 AM Emperor Khalik passed away in his bed peacefully through the night. The cause of death was old age although a autopsy is underway.

This Atheriaday at 16 PM a procession through Sahved to the Imperial Temple of Sahved where the funeral pyre will be lit and remains will be interned in the Mausoleum of the Founders. All non essential workers will be granted two days of mourning for the Emperor and are encouraged to line the streets of the procession and gather at the temple to pay their respects. Those who wish to gift grave goods or sacrifices are encouraged to contact the temple and arrange for a time to drop off the offerings to our beloved Emperor.

Upon the internment of the Emperor I will be crowned by the Imperial Priests at the Imperial Temple. Our nation will grow stronger through death and will not weaken. My utmost goal will be to announce public works in order to eliminate our growing unemployment rate. My plan will come in a set of five year plans designed to spur our industrial machine into life.

The first of my five year plans is set to be completed by late 326. We will build a orbital elevator on Tolmev Island and open use to all allied states and companies. This will ensure our continued economic growth and usher in a period of international unity and cooperation. The stars are a goal all races of Lerodas seek to reach and with the work of our mighty empire we will reach them. All who are unemployed, underemployed, or seeking adventure and work in a far off land contact your local Occupational Services Department and apply for employment. Most will be assigned construction jobs to establish harbors, roads, and energy grids. Housing will be provided for all who come to the island.”

I quickly threw on my newest suit and ran out the door ignoring the busty Marossian women that were now back on the television. The OSD office was six blocks away and I intended on being the first one there to make sure I could get this job. I was tired of the rough seaside winters that plagued Sahved every year. I hopped on my bike and pedaled as fast as I could weaving between the men and women who were strolling on the sidewalks only to see a line of nearly 20 people already poking out of the office.

My phone was still streaming the Imperial Broadcast and the people in line around me huddled close to watch as the emperor spoke to the world. He encouraged the leaders of the nations of the world to contact the Vahric Bureau of Foreign Affairs to arrange cooperation with the Empire on this project. He spoke about how foreign nations could contract with the Empire in order to use the elevator for a small fee and that all Estoran Union members will be free to use the elevator without the fee if they invest.

Vanhania establishes claim on sector 5320 (its a tiny island on the equator) in order to establish a orbital elevator on the island. Two harbor cities will also be established on the island. Allied states are free to invest in the project and may allow their civilians to work on the project as well. Nations who wish to invest should telegram me so I can add them to the list. Investor nations will receive discounted transport fees and Estoran Union members will not have to pay fees if they invest in the project.

The Revolt's Setting

" Sir, your order has been pleased. ", firmly spoke a uniformed military officer, raising his thick eyebrows trying to show no signs of visible excitement. His dirtied, rustic uniform is seemingly worn out and muddy. The shiny silver and copper medals of honor looked shiny, bright and polished in contrast.

" Very well, general. Now we shall wait for the downfall. ", the man in a brown uniform got up and unformally placed his hand on the general's shoulder and let out a subtle grin.

" Salut! "

Just as the general was stepping out of the bunker, an ecstatic sergeant burst in apologising for the sudden surprise. She lowered her voice before continuing :

" The Isle crisis is escalating. The chance of an armed conflict is rising. How should we act? ", the words came out as a sharp breeze, but not nearly as soothing. The Minister of Defense was unrespondant.

........................................................................

Outside, nature was setting a wonderful scene. Outside of the bunker that was carved into the white-gray mountain rock was a small plateou surrounded by the mountain. Around the plateou was a narrow cliffside path. From the plateou you could see the setting sun pouring itself beyond the grasslands laying below the Mount. Buzzing around are a few dozen soldiers, some returning from the narrow cemented path carrying bags full of destroyed road lightning that was once positioned on this peaceful road.

Well, the situation at the Mount has gone greatly for the Opposers. Most of the Revoltists ran to support their brethren in the Mount region after being swiftly overthrown at the coastline. Apart for some parts of western Dalmat, all of their forces are positioned in the aforementioned region. Lately, Opposers suffered no great losses and have been pushing the Revolt north. If they succeed in cutting the Revoltists off in the western Mount, they will not be able to run to the west and will be trapped in the Mount - the only way out is through or out.

The DNA (Dalmat National Military) is preparing their plan for final action that will conclude the Second Revolt. The Neopolitikus movement was the vital director in most military operations and the party is gaining support extremely quickly. DNA is cutting off supply lines for the Revolt and ambushing the raiders. The Revolt can only escape through that mountain pass since passing through the Mount itself is technically impossible for them and their forces.

The DNA waited for the night of the Dark Sky, a festival in Dalmat where the moon does not shine and is covered in clouds. This festival happens once or twice a year or even once in two years. They took out all of the road lighting from the pass. The Revoltists, as planned, attempted the nightly escape, but were met with a failure that crippled them.

They had trouble travelling on the road as it was covered in pitch-black darkness. They had to be left unseen because some batallions that had brought their own lighting had been met with backfire from the plateaou across. Many surrendered while some waited for the morning to escape the country. It is estimated that between 100 000 and 650 000 people left within the week of the defeat. The nation cheered for their newly-earned political freedom, but there were a few problems that had to be cleared and some new threats on the horizon...

········································································

" We're in front of the Ministry building. The Prime Minister has to announce the declaration of an agreement the Ministry and the Skupshtina have silently been working on. After the hectic internal and external political situation the Government is finally speaking out. This is D1 Ministry broadcast. "

After half an hour of spectators and journalists packed on the, now invisible, Square of the State like sardines in a box, a man alongside his two bodyguards stepped out on the balcony with heads perking up and recording this moment.

" The Ministry of Dalmat's Declaration of Extra-military Policy and its contents are, as of today, disbanded. The 4th urgent session of Skupshtina of the Dalmatian People has voted on the passing of the Military Aid Agreement which is now, after Ministry approval, in action. Taking into consideration the latest shifts in cross-continental relations, the following statements are what this agreement is concerning. I will read several of them.

Section 3, Statement A ; The formation of a new institution dedicated to keeping internal and external peace and order shall be put into action immediately.

Section 3, Statement B ; Cooperation between Dalmat and the TRAMEC economic alliance will be led by all high-Government facilities and bodies.

Section 3, Statement C : Military aid will be given to our allies after a 7-day period after a possible declaration of war. "

The Minister kept speaking, but a big chunk of the crowd was going wild. To show their disbelief the started vandalising the Ministry building, shattering higher windows and throwing various objects. Allegedly, there was an attempt of assasination on a few Government officials by a man which was stopped by the police.

All wars have not been fought just yet...

With thousands of frightened Revoltist supporters fleeing every day and a new political order to put in place the Dalmatian people are uncertain of the future.

Political Reestablishment

" Now, we have estimated a number greater than 1.5 million Revoltist that have left the Republic of Dalmat. They are looking for someone to take them. The only ones that are not released are high-ranking Revoltist members who are charged of various war crimes. 600 000 civilians and soldiers have passed and the Second Revolt will go down in history as a terrible, turbulent event. "

" We at Dalmat Networks owe you a great apology. On the night of the election, our broadcast was shut down as did the counting of ballets due to the attacks. We will bring you the results in a formal manner, after a minute of silence for the fallen. "

=========

" The results go as followed :

Neopolitikus - 99 seats
Economic Right - 32 seats
SDP - 21 seats
Centrist Union - 19 seats
Capitalist Party - 9 seats
Anarchist Society - 8 seats
Green Party - 7 seats
Liberalist Party - 5 seats
Minorities - 1 seat. "

" When we compare this result with the last Skupshtina election, we find a bizarre shift in power. The newly-founded Neopolitikus movement has seen astronomical uprising and has taken the front seat in battling the Revolt despite being the closest with it. It is just under the half of the seats. SDP has crippled and so did the CU, the two former main powers. Their lack of assesrtiveness and leadership in crucial times has destroyed them which followed by Head of SDP's resign. Because of latest events, the Populist party was forbidden from running. The Greens, the Capitalists and the Anarchist Society held relatively true to their prior results. The Liberalists fell because of the new rightist party, the Economic Right consisting of the former Homeland authoritarian party, Nationalist party, Conservative party, Libertarian party as well as a dozen smaller parties, groups and movements. They failed to capitalise on getting more influence but they will still be the second largest party in the country. "

=========

" Hello, Dalmatians, welcome to Dalmat Networks. This is a live broadcast of the second Skupshtina session. The Neopolitikus party has put out a proposal called "New Ordeal" which suggests a Neopolitical Democracy to be put in place. As the Dalmat Constitutional Body confirms, the passing of the proposal should require two thirds of the Skupshtina representatives. "

" Neopolitical political flow consists of free decisions of the individual, highly inspired by Dalmat city states in the earlier eras. Instead of parties, politicians represent a political ideology they support without interference of the larger party conciousness and interferance. Regional political districts will be formed in which residents have the right to apply to a local governing body. The elections use various methods such as Single Transferable Vote and its similair counterparts in order to please the majority of people. Higher regional governing bodies will also exist, supervising the local ranges. The Skupshtina and the Ministry are going to be the two High representative bodies. Each of them is going to have an advisory body with the power of veto for high-ranking decisions, aka. the decisions of huge political and societal velocity. In terms of lifestyle and political changes, referendums will be organised more often, people will mostly be able to speak their mind and insert themselves in local political action. The military and the police will be joint into one Institution called the Dalmat Milice Force keeping internal and external peace. Funds will go to science, tourism, art, culture and a few branches of industry and agricultural. Generally, the New Dalmat will invest in highering the standard of winning. Education will be extremely improved and revamped with guaranteed specialisation in a field of one's choice, cooperative learning of how to use the information that you're exposed to in practice as well as a lot of space and time to find yourself academically and personally.

This might result in slow decision-making in crucial times but the Dalmat people want this and it is not surprising. If they adapt well in the first two decades, this might live on. We will have to watch on for the Skupshtina calling tomorrow to see if this future awaits us. " - Independent Dalmat Cybernet News

The white-paved stone of the Skupshtina palace was echoing of voices. 200 of the most influential politicians in the nation are starting to take their seat in the wide, high room where they had been having fiery debates and discussions before the voting break. As the Skupshtina President started to speak, the homes of Dalmatians were excited for the outcome.

" If yourselves find that you are voting for the passing of the New Ordeal, select "Pass". If not, select "Reject". If you for some reason wish to abstain, remain seated and do not select anything. "

After a minute or two, all have voted with not a single representative abstaining. The President continued :

" The results of the Neopolitikus Party - 99 votes for passing, none for rejecting.

Economic Right - No votes for passing, 32 votes for rejecting.

Social-Democrat Party - 5 votes for passing, 16 votes for rejecting.

Centrist Union - 8 votes for passing, 11 votes for rejecting.

Capitalist Party - 3 votes for passing, 6 votes for rejecting.

Anarchist Society Movement - 8 votes for passing, no votes for rejecting.

Green Party - 7 votes for passing, no votes for rejecting.

Liberalist Party - 5 votes for passing, no votes for rejecting.

Minorities seat voted for passing.

The voting concludes with the final count being 136 votes for passing and 45 votes for rejecting. With passing the two thirds threshold, the New Ordeal will be put into motion as of this moment. "

These words were followed by a loud cheer and applause by most of the Skupshtina. Only several representatives have begrungingly left the room, most of them being from the ER. Dalmat is on the way to a new setting future. We shall see how that works out.

Expansion Part 1 Sector 3911

As I sip my morning glass of Honey Tea I scroll through dozens of news articles. Some about the expansion plans soon to be enacted. Hmmm. I wonder if Katha to our South will be perturbed at our latest land grab….

Executive Proclamation # 0253
Settlement of the Coasts to the south

Approximately 250,000 Uthent workers and settlers are granted passage to Hexagonal Section 3811 as the area has finally finished construction of Defensive Mass driver Artillery positions and stationed by elements of the Uthent Guard recruited for just such a purpose. The region is much like the lands surrounding bastion rocky, yet lush cliffs near the sea with fine, white beaches pocketed along the shore. Hydroponics Agri-Towers have been constructed thanks to the efforts of Bastion Hydro Works and Delfuse Construction.

Approximately three of the towers are constructed and ready for planting. A desalinization plant on the coast will pipe water directly into the settlements and subsequent Agri-towers constantly as to combat the dry and hot temperatures. Citizens are actively encouraged to begin their own subsistence gardens to diversify their own diets and, following an approved request from the House of Agriculture. The townships of Autren and Dafen have been established on the revised National Map.

Autren to the West of Freedom’s Bay, is a fledgling town modeled after traditional religious architecture so there are no skyscrapers to ruin the pristine views and landscape. Industry has been severely limited by the Grand duke as this area in particular serves as a natural habitat for the National Animal the Golden Talon Eagle. A pseudo-gothic architecture, as previously mentioned, is sure to bring in tourism thanks to its beauty and uniqueness, especially in the in technologically centered world.
Dafen is also very restricted when it comes to architecture and industry as the Grand Duke has laid out plans to create the “World’s Jewel” as he calls it, and make Uthent’s shoreline and coastal villas into the envy of all who see them.

The next bite of eggs is fluffy and perfectly salted. Gilded Bastion Home Guard in archaic steel armor and spiked Stahlhelms ride by calmly on horse back. I also take note of the extremely stylized Mass Rifles on their backs. Though nowhere near as powerful as the emplacements on the coast they still can punch through just about anything. A technological marvel everyone’s afraid of. I continue to scroll pas most of the idiotic theories and blatant lies until I reach an article about the Defense Project that was started almost a decade prior.

A Monument undertaking …Completed!

A monstrous feat of engineering, a decade’s worth of arduous labor and countless trials of the soul yet the “Divine Impediment” coastal battery has finally been completed. A total of 66 emplacements of the latest high impact kinetic artillery have been strategically built all around the bay of Martyrs and the Eastern Pilgrim’s Coast in order to provide the best defense to the faithful within. The battery will be divided evenly (22 emplacements each) amongst the three Houses that proved instrumental in this endeavor:
House Von Kerst
House Radomir
House DeSulle
May The faithful show there gratitude for this charity and the comfort this new defensive line will bring our nation.

Eight years ago I would have laughed off the notion of such a project, but now that it’s complete I do admit that the attitude of those in Bastion has certainly improved. People freely walk about the city instead of within their homes with doors locked tightly. The night watch of neighbors and household guards has been replaced by the organized Bastion Home Guard. Relieved is one way I’d put it, but who am I to be the voice of five hundred thousand. As I finish off the last of my eggs and my waiter pours me a final cup of honey tea, a painfully familiar noise greets my ears.

“Home Lord! Home Lord Von Greenwin!” I feel the gaze of a hundred eyes dart in my direction. The waiter looks arounds frantically then slowly turns toward me, the only man obviously not looking around like a disturbed ferret. I let out a depleted sigh and roll up my newspaper. “What a shame....I almost had a normal morning.” My waiter immediately starts to kneel in front of me, but I stop him from completing the task. “Ah ah ah my boy, none of that, not with me. I merely serve the faith same as everyone here.” His eyes have a flicker of thought to them before he completes the bow anyway. The depleted sigh returns. “True Father give me strength.” A spindly boy wearing the ornate garb of the newest “Lord House” of Bastion. “Your Aophuern stand ready, Homelord.” Work time, better put on a show. “Indeed, and I suppose this is not all you have come to tell me while I was enjoying the comforts of Common life?” Something was wrong, the poor boy looked pale and not simply because his garb wasn’t suited for running in. “You-you’ve received orders...from Regis Von Kerst!”

The beginning of Distaito
Starting as rebel, Disantio fought the queen of the warmongering Taitos, the Taitos found entertainment in destroying nearby towns and villages on Lerodas, this caused Disantio to start a rebellion to take the fledgling empire over. He spent hours recruiting many people that shared his idea of stopping this tyrant. He led many battles against the Taitos, the most remarkable being 'The battle of Raiken' this was the once capital city where he led his forces to the palace to seize the queens position, they lost many that day, but all for a good reason as the kingdom was once more in peace and no longer warmongering. Disantio began the rise of Distaito by claiming land nearby and building residence for the destroyed towns and villages, this made him very liked in the region. His generosity was what brought him to the conversation with his general:
General Taros: 'Sir, you should not go down the route of a democracy and become a king of the nation and it's claimed towns.'
Distantio: 'Why should I though? The people love me as I am currently.'
General Taros: 'Well... some people have been reported to be buying themselves power in nearby regions, and I think they'll come here next.'
Distantio: ' Nonsense! We will heavily regulate the elections and make sure that no one buys themselves in!'

Disantio decided that becoming a democracy of a peaceful and friendly kingdom would be the right path as he thought he could regulate the politicians. Though that all changed, when, against Distantio's expectations, politicians were found buying votes, this revealed that many politicians were wrongly in their position and they did not deserve their power, this made Distantio remove the democracy and become the king of the nation (at the suggestion of his cousin and his General), the people endorsed this move as they knew that Distantio was the one who brought them peace. He continued to improve the economy and defense of the nation eventually establishing the kingdom of Distaito which spanned across 200 thousand km*2, as this was happening, the king met up with his advisors every week to make sure the kingdom does not fail,
Advisor: 'Sir, We have a lot of free land, We should sell some deeds to investors, this would greatly improve our economy and our employment rate'
Distantio: 'Yes, that seems like a very good idea, we should also make some places of residence to make sure the maximum amount of people to work and provide for themselves and their family's.'
As the move was made and the media found out, many praised the king to be 'Always willing to help his people' but some thought that making cheap residence would be abused and ruin the economy, thought Distantio went on with this move and sold deeds to investors to build places of entertainment, factories and more. This allowed many factories to come up and allowed everyone to become a little richer, with the most poor citizens at enough money to pay for a government apartment and provide for themselves. The crime in Distaito is moderate as the nation invests in self defense education, though the police lack some funding due to the nations defense and education focus.
The Distaito kingdom has very bright minds, being a leader in military technology and has made some very impressive equipment, such as the 'Distatian mech-suit', this suit was used as a prototype in the battle against the queen of Taito, the mech is equipped with a powerful but heavy rail-gun, which can rip through most metals known to man. The king attends yearly technology conferences to see what is being made. One day at the conference, he met a man who promised to develop technology to find black markets and eliminate them, this being the reason why black markets are very rare in Distaito.
And after 10 years of improvement and sale, the kingdom of Distaito was officially recognized by the surrounding regions as a kingdom.
This, was the start .

The First Step

“What have we here?” Pollus asked as he walked into the lab.

“The culture of Porto-mitochondria is ready,” one of his colleagues replied, it was doctor Minerva Cammillium.

“Very well, I take it they’ve survived the night?” he asked, putting on a white lab coat. Everything was supposed to be sterile in his lab after all.

“Indeed,” the woman nodded. “And we have the data on the latest experiment... Quite an improvement over the previous four attempts. This DNA is definitely better than the other ones we constructed.”

“We’ll see,” Pollus activated the lab interface. Many holographic panels lit up all around the spacious room, filling it with warm golden glow. “Well, the survival rate exceeds 89%... And the electron output is...” Pollus frowned. “Fishy.”

“Oh?”

“Yes, we need to tell those people in bioengineering department that this oxidization cycle isn’t optimal,” he replied. “No steady electron production in response to the chemical fluctuations, here,” he pointed at a graph.

“Yes, I see the problem,” doctor Cammillium nodded. “There a clear increase in sodium ion concentration yet no electron output.”

“Exactly,” Pollus nodded. “What use are those mitochondria if they can’t produce electrons when needed?”

“A different oxidization cycle?” doctor Cammillium asked.

“Yes,” he replied, nodding. “Hm...” Pollus frowned. “We need to run a couple more tests to see if it’s actually the cycle not working or the membrane malfunctioning,” he looked at doctor Cammillium. “Could you get the lab going? I’ll be back in a minute. We still need some data from Dalmatians to optimize the byproduct extraction.”

“Of course, Pollus,” the woman nodded. “Oh, I forgot to mention: we have some feedback from the neural labs: they have some progress in axon conversion.”

“How far are they?” Pollus asked. He had to admit his curiosity was piqued.

“They got nanobots to discriminate between the axon and the actual body of the neuron,” doctor Cammillium replied.

“Really?” he raised an eyebrow.

“Quite so,” the woman nodded. “It appears they are ready to start the conversion itself. Though apparently they anticipate problems traversing synapses.”

“Well, let’s leave the to it,” Pollus said, “we still have experiments to run.”

The University of Ba and Research
Written with Polarisium
General Secretary Biểu Xuyen today announced that the United State of Ba will begin accepting applicants from International Students into its University of Ba system, the leading group of universities in the country, for fall of next year. Higher paying students internationally will help reduce the effect of budget cuts, but the decision has drawn some controversy over the reduced domestic spots. Acceptance rates at all twelve universities have been falling in recent years, with UB-Mai Thep being the most exclusive.

In addition, the Regents of the University of Ba, the governing board, have directed the twelve university system to grant additional funding for the research for growing artificial organs in conjunction with the Polarisian University of Cole and University of Polaris. Private donations from pharmaceutical companies Medela Pharma and Curara have also helped expand the research budget. The Regents released a statement today:
“We recognize the severity of the kidney and liver transplant shortage. It is our civic duty to encourage and fund the development of alternatives. Great inroads have already been made into stem cell research by Aynihs Akanamay and his lab at the University of Ba-Thanh Pho Song, which discovered an easier way of converting normal cells back into stem cells. We hope to see the day when waitlists for kidneys are only weeks or months long, rather than the agonizing 5 years it is in the Bahn State. We are committed to keeping the UB system at the forefront of the scientific advancement.”

Laboratories have already demonstrated the ability to grow small organoids, but more time is needed before growing full sized, human organs is a possibility.

Organic Partnership
Written with Great ba

“We are glad to announce that our own University of Cole, together with the University of Polaris and the University of Ba will conduct extensive research into growing organs in both artificial and natural environments in an effort to make organ replacement available to any suffering human.

We will utilize our best technology, including the targeted cure delivery methods for stimulation of growth or certain cells or organs and nanorobots to conduct more in-depth analysis of our results.

With the generous donations from Medela Pharma and Curara we were able to create a new laboratory in the Department of Human Physiology that will be dedicated to researching the possibility of artificial growth of different organs.

It is the hope of our scientists that this partnership will be fruitful and will bring us one step closer to achieving a society of safety and happiness.”

Operation Burning Eagle

The large transport plane was shaking heavily under turbulence. The weather outside was terrible. It was dark, wet and raining heavily, but finally they were reaching their location after a long flight. The Ruzalkan Paratroopers were prepped and ready for deployment, but were now awaiting the green light to jump. Sergeant Frost was in charge of the Watchmen, one of Ruzalkas elite parachute regiments. Several transports of paratroopers were joining in conjunction, as well as a small naval task force.

Frost turned to his men, as the plane continued to shake. "Alright men, you all know the drill. The small island of Renoake has been under a corrupt government for the last several years. With a small nudge, the guys in Arx have caused mass unrest. A small coupe has now taken place, and the government has ordered a strike now before the nation has time to recuperate. Our role is to quickly secure the nations main military airfield, at Crescent Bay. From there, we are to hold it and await reinforcements. This will ensure our carrier, the RNV Arx, will be able to secure us air superiority. Under no circumstances are we to approach any city, as heavy strategic bombing is to follow our assault. Once the dust has settled, we will be relieved from our position by Ruzalkan occupation forces, who will be maintained here in order to ensure a proper transition and integration into the Unitary Republic. You've all already been briefed on our own targets at the airbase. Any questions?"

One of Frosts men, David Horatio raised his hand. "Sir, what about civillians, if strategic bombing is to occur, wont they leave the cities and try to find shelter, possibly at the airbase?"

Frost was quick to answer, as if he did not even have to think. "Orders as standing is that any civilians, no matter their special status or position, are to be refused entry into the airbase. Under no circumstances can they be permitted entry. Any civilians which are belligerent, or refusing to comply with the directive, are to be dealt with by any means necessary."

Some of the men looked around them. "But sir, wont that just make the situation worse? The international outrage could be catastrophic."

Horatio looked at his men, who were clearly uncomfortable with what he had just told them. "We've taken precautionary measures in order to ensure no stories about any harsh occupation measures will leave the island. Internet is to be cut off, and all radio and television utilities are to be placed in occupation government hands. Phone lines are routed through the primary telecom HQ, which is also a set target for bombing. Newspapers and any location with printing presses, such as publishers, are also to be seized later by Ruzalkan Military Government forces, in order to ensure there is no circulation of underground propaganda."

The light turned green in the transport plane, and the troops all began to stand up. "Well boys, I reckon this is it." Frost stated. "Remember, try and keep as much of the equipment in the base as intact as possible, it will only make our lives easier. Finally, remember to stay away from the barracks once you are on the ground, at least, until after the rocket artillery from sea makes contact." The ramp began to lower at the back of the large plane, and lightning could be seen off in the distance. "Alright, men, time to jump. Go! Go! Go!."

As the men jumped out of the plane and entered free fall to the ground, off in the distance, a large city was bathed in a large orange glow, as it burned to the ground. Operation Burning Eagle was now in full effect.
