Yeah that's practically what I said. Case in point, I'm typing this on a desktop computer I bought for under $100 from someone who fixes old computers for resale. Not something someone would buy for gaming or graphics-intensive things, but it keeps me online. When I got it home, there was something weird on the hard drive that shouldn't have been there; so I unplugged it, opened the case, removed the hard drive and used a Linux live CD along with a USB drive for storage until I could afford to get another hard drive. Yes this all sounds more complicated than it actually is.

Also, since we're talking about computers (don't do the following if you have multiple tabs open that you need), can we get an ALT-F4 for Fry's Electronics, which closed for good earlier this week?
