I like talking about WA issues in the Discord channel; it's an uphill battle to get that going. Feel free to ask me to ramble on about WA proposals until someone answers me. Usually it's Nationific taking pity on me, but y'know, we'll talk.

Here are my 2 major plans and my plan for an endotarting program. They are thought out and indepth and I would love if you would read them along with my main campaign dispatch which I will also link. Thank you.
Introduction and Who I am
Hello, I'm Grey County and I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my WA delegate Campaign dispatch. I have been a member of Thalassia since September of 2019 but after CTE’ing in around march I have been here consistently since June of 2020 and have served many roles including Assistant Head of Security and on numerous occasions, I served as Acting Head of Security and I currently am a Member of the Regional Assembly. I also have experience in almost every aspect of the old government system as I have been a member of all of their ministries at some points, I believe this gives me the necessary experience that you need to serve in such an important position as the delegate for Thalassia. I am Thalassia’s ambassador to the Social Technocratic Union and to Our treaty Ally Lazarus. I also am a member of our State Affairs Ministry and the Palarus welcome crew. and was an active rp’er before the pause. So now let's get into why I’m running for WA delegate.
Why Im Running
I’m Running for WA delegate because even though I like what Arenado has done as the delegate, I believe that I can expand Thalassia’s influence in the WA along with bringing 2 new major WA programs to Thalassia that I will now outline along with a minor program. I believe I have the experience that is necessary and believe that the Delegacy is the best way for me to help Thalassia.
Thalassian Input and Vote Recommendations
The first major program I would put in place would be a program where we would hold a debate on all resolutions open to all WA residents and Citizens and at the end, I would write and release a vote recommendation that I myself would vote by. I would hope that these WA recommendations could be displayed on the WFE as well. I believe the benefits of this would be that Thalassian Citizens and WA residents will get more information on all votes, They will get input into my vote the votes of others and they will be aware of votes which will give Thalassia more votes in resolutions.
The WA Recommendation Nation
The minor program that I will be starting is creating a Puppet nation that will post the vote recommendations along with holding all of our WA ministry dispatches.
Thalassian WA Writing Committee
The Second of my major proposals would be a WA writing committee/group which would draft and propose resolutions on behalf of Thalassia. This would grow our influence in WA and get issues that are truly important to Thalassia to vote. I envision that anyone could join this committee and I would look for an experienced WA writer to help mentor beginner writers with the process of drafting on the forum and submitting proposals and if a proposal gets to vote I would like to see the group help with advertisements and bringing it to delegates along with sending proposals out to our embassy allies asking for their delegate to consider them.
Why You Should Vote For Me
So you might be asking “Why should I vote for Grey”, well I believe that I can bring an influx of new ideas and new programs into WA along with getting Thalassia Involved in the WA. I would build on programs put in place by my predecessors and bring Thalassia into the writing Arena. I also have some connections within the NSGP Community. So with that, I'm asking you, when you go to Vote for WA delegate….Consider voting Grey County and “Let's bring Thalassia into new arenas and Bring its influence higher than ever”.

Setup
I believe that we should have a committee of 5 people including me and my vice delegate that will help new writers create the first draft that they will then submit on the NS Forums. The members would also be able to give advice during the forum drafting stage and help bring the proposal to delegates they know during the proposal stage.
Eligibilty
To be one of the three non-WA delegate/ vice delegate members of the committee I would like you to either a) Have passed a WA resolution or b) Be involved in the WA Community. To bring a proposal to the committee you must a) Create a rough draft and write a blurb as to why they want to pass the proposal. The committee will deal with a maximum of 2 potential proposals at a time.
Thalassian Input Initiative
I believe that the WA Delegate needs to properly represent the Citizens of Thalassia and vote in a way that represents the citizens well not bending into Tyranny by the majority. I believe the way to strike this balance is to hold a debate on the discord and after hearing the points of the citizens I will Write a vote recommendation with reasons and then I would vote with that recommendation. I will also be developing an initiative that will create turnout for the debate, more details on that coming soon.
Thalassian Vote Turnout initiation
I believe that we need to have more thalassians vote on resolutions to garner Thalassia More influence in the WA and to do this I will be putting in place the 'All votes Count" campaign that will emphasize three things. 1. The GA can affect your nation's stats and if you want to keep ur stats high then voting is a necessity. 2. The Security council can affect many things in the NSGP and r/d community and 3. If you ever want to write a proposal its a good idea to be able to recognise a good proposal and a bad proposal.
Thalassia WA Reccommendation Nation
Im gonna quickly mention my minor proposal which would be to create a puppet nation that would hold all of the dispatches that are related to the WA and would release The vote recommendations and then I would hope future delegates would be able to continue utilizing this nation.
I really like the proposal put in Place by Zentata called Thalassiendos but I would do things a bit differently.
I would start by laying out the requirements, If you are endorsing the Delegate and Vice Delegate, within of 5 endorsements of all nations not including nations that are a) Getting too close to the delegate and have been asked to not endorse or b) Someone declared exempt by whoever is running the program.
Rewards
I believe that the best rewards for them are Cards and for 1 random individual who is eligible to be featured in the WFE for 1 week. I also believe that we can source cards by donations from the community. I also believe that we should also promote this program as it will create a wall of influence In Thalassia which will help regional security.

Festival of the Lights in Balsaam Kicks off With a Bang, Literally
The Festival of the Lights is one of Zentata's signature festivals, a time to celebrate light in all its forms, in particular light shows and elaborate and artistic fireworks displays, culminating in the grand show over Limmaar Bay. The festival is beloved among Zentatans, and is one of the main tourist attractions in the Balsaam Region. This year's festival in particular was greatly anticipated for the return of Den Breck, an experimental artist whose works were one of the most beautiful parts of the show, combining glass and light in a mesmerizing fashion until his abrupt departure for unknown reasons ten years ago.
However, on the day before the event a ship carrying fireworks exploded in the bay. It was apparently un-manned at the time, as a customs dispute had required the small crew to go ashore to the customs center before docking. When the crew was wrangling with the customs officials, the boat exploded, along with the fireworks. The noise was "surprisingly loud" as described by the captain, and according to one eyewitness the explosion was "the most impressive grande finale I've seen for a good decade". The explosion caused no injuries, although a few people reported having quite a shock from the sudden noise. The cause of the event is still under investigation, although it seems likely that a spark was created in some fashion, causing a destructive and immediate chain reaction.
The loss of the fireworks will not have any major impact on the festival, said Olene Rogers, the chair of events for the festival. The extra supplies should cover the shortage caused by the explosion, she added.

My 3 week plan
Here is my proposed first 3 weeks plan to get my programs up and running.
This is my spin on The traditional First hundred days plan but for a 4-month term, I have decided to go with a three-week plan to get my WA plans up and running as well as start off the term right. If you would like to see this happen the please considre Voting for Me.
Post Election Days
In the days after the election but before I formally take the position of WA Delegate I would immediately begin trying to 1. get people onto the WA Writing Committee as well as laying the groundwork for the endotarting program.
Week 1
After Formally taking the position my first week would include the first debates over proposals and my first WA recommendations. I would begin accepting rough drafts for the writing committee to view and I will continue to lay the framework of the endotarting program.
Week 2
In week 2 I would launch the endotarting program and promote it a bunch by emphasizing regional security, rewards and getting to see all WA nations in Thalassia. I would continue to iron out any kinks in the debate system as well as getting the writing committee into full force.
Week 3
In the final week of the first 3 weeks, I would begin the search for my Vice Delegate through an application process similar to the officer applications recently held. I would have our WA Debates system and endotarting fully up and running and would begin to transition into the maintaining of my programs phase which would emphasize maintaining participation in and knowledge of my initiatives.

In today's election, the opposition Democratic Party won in Planton City, winning the largest number of seats in the city assembly as well as in several municipalities within the district.Opposition leader Elizabeth Hall called this the biggest victory in the previous 20 years, while some municipalities such as Paltrou, Palaman, Eastern Dania belonged to the People's Republican Party.The situation will be very interesting because the power of the district belongs as the position of mayor belongs to the opposing options
In capital(Layton), the ruling party justified its role as the favorite by winning the most seats in the city assembly as well as the majority of municipalities with the exclusion of the Layton municipality of Dallas which belongs to the People and Justice party.The rulers are happy with the result and if they do not hide their disappointment with the loss of Planton City.
These results already show how voters can vote in the General Elections in the spring of 2022.According to these results, it could be concluded that the Democratic Party is growing in popularity.

Researchers at the Bňrjagrad Institute of Science and Technology have published their findings on their genetic engineering experiments intending to facilitate the return of the long-neck unicorn, the long-extinct national animal of Zeneslav. The research team has determined that after significant lab studies and experimentation, they have managed to reproduce the structures and embryos specific to the long-neck unicorn and hope to release it into the wild very soon. The Zenesk government is very hopeful of the project as well as what it means for other endangered species throughout Thalassia. More details to follow in the coming months.

Government offices will close and services will be suspended on Monday, 7 March in honor of Prime Minister Kŕsper Kŕrlevesk’s 57th birthday. The Prime Minister has once again made the decision to close the government down and declare a day of relaxation for the country. Services such as law enforcement and fire crews will still be operational, but non-essential facilities such as postal services, licensing administrations, and various other bureaucracies will be shut down for the day. Normal operations will resume the next day.

Four days before the third Family Parade in Layton on Saturday, March 6, some inside the country were provoked to raise unnecessary tensions.Along with the Clarkstanian tricolor and the flag of the Layton District near the local government building, there was also a rainbow-colored flag, which caused a revolt among most citizens.
The flag was hoisted late at night when there were no people on the street. The ruling party said it was unacceptable to equate the flags of some movements with the flags of the state and the federal entity, just as it was not clear to them what preceded such an act.

Specifically, the topics of the regional map, determining the size of our RP populations, and the time issues (i.e. real-life to RP time) are our priority. Please join us with your input and concerns on these topics. I know a lot of us are eager to get a new map and new possibilities up and going.
