Those 2 glorious words. "End exercise." Less than 3 hours total in full MOPP gear, so not too bad.

MOPP Gear? Are you planning on going somewhere toxic? Or is you unit going to be placed on First Diaper Duty?

No, just an exercise. Big Air Force wants us to get familiar with wearing the gear, even if it is just for a few hours in the summer. Have to be prepared, just in case.

Sorry, I thought I'd announced it here, but clearly not. D'oh.

And of course, summer means parades and Rodeos, or Ro Day ohs if you're from CA. Therefore the next tune is a selection from Copeland's Rodeo.

Finally getting caught up on Ninja Warrior. I appreciate how supportive the athletes are of each other. One fails in a head to head race and they're cheering on the other person

June, July, who decided to put 2 J months next to each other? And why do the names not match up with their numerical order? Someone should pay for that.

Happy Flag Day Texas! For those unaware, Flag Day is a patriotic day specifically celebrating the Flag. It is believed to have first originated in 1885 to honor the "Flag Birthday" on the 108th anniversary of the official adoption of The Stars and Stripes. This celebration caught on over the years gradually moving south and east (it started in Wisconsin). Inspired by these three decades of state and local celebrations, Flag Day - the anniversary of the Flag Resolution of 1777 - was officially established by the Proclamation of President Woodrow Wilson on May 30th, 1916. However, it was not until August 3rd, 1949, President Truman signed an Act of Congress designating June 14th of each year as National Flag Day. It is not a non-work holiday but is a patriotic day nonetheless. Yay! Flag! Yay!

Who has your favorite flag in Texas?

Here's a dad joke from my back yard for your Father's Day weekend.

The Head Chef at The Big Tex Happy Taco Stands of NewTexas is high on the hog on this one, Texas! It is a classic! For the non-Spanish-enabled, this is Sausage & Egg! While we usually make our own sausage for this taco, today we are making it really simple thanks to our friends at Jimmy Dean and a couple of metric tonnes of Hot and Sage sausage in a tube! Playing an older game with a mod that adds more units. Couldn't figure out on the one particular mission why I couldn't seem to get ahead of the computer. Could stalemate them all day but a victory seemed out of grasp.

Figured out why; the computer has at least 2 never ending supply piles.
