Whistleblowers need to have some skin in the game. If a whistleblower exposes real corruption or waste, then by all means protect them.
On the other hand, if the whistleblower is nothing more than a political stooge trying to stir a pot (See the CIA analyst who shall not be named) and it turns out there really is no wrong doing and the whistle was blown simply to cause grief, that son of bitch should be a public piñata in the Capitol Rotunda.

Some thoughts on the Texas power grid failure
The finger pointing and "news" on the Texas power grid are widely varied and and lacking on hard, verifiable facts. Most of it seems to be vague references to frozen windmills and the like. While subtle, it is clear officials withheld some information for security reasons. (Can't be telling foreign and domestic terrorists right where to smack the grid so the lights go out.) But for the most part, hard facts about what went wrong are not being stated.
On a whim, and needing a break from my current project, I spent a little while digging through the net. In 2008 then Sen. Obama told the San Francisco Chronicle, "So if somebody wants to build a coal power plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they are going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted."[1][2] While not entirely successful in carrying out that exact threat, eight years worth of the US Bureaucracies carrying out Obama's environmental policies led to pretty much the same result. Between selective regulation enforcement, massive permit fees, and federally sponsored greenhouse gas litigation, Obama and company litterally suffocated many coal fired power plants.
But Obama and Co. did that with nothing reliable waiting in the wings to replace those plants. There are times the northeastern power grid is running at 98% of peak capacity and is just one squirrel away from a major blackout that will take days to fully restore.
Texas just demonstrated that very problem. Using Wikipedia as a jumping off point to dig for information, we find that since 2018, Texas took 6,453 megawatts off line because... well, coal. Here's a list of closed coal fired plants:
—Gibbons Creek in Grimes County for 453 lost megawatts
—Big Brown in Freestone County for 1,186 lost megawatts.
—J.T. Deely in Bexar County for 932 lost megawatts.
—Monticello in Titus County for 1,980 lost megawatts.
—Oklaunion in Wilbarger County for 650 lost megawatts.
—Sandow in Milam County for 1,252 lost megawatts.[3]
Of those plants, all except Gibbons Creek were not just turned off. They were irredeemably scrapped. With a few weeks work and a train load of coal, Gibbons Creek could come back on line. But by then, most of this mess will be over.
In that same time period Texas brought 1,939 megawatts in solar energy online, and 3,645 megawatts in wind energy. However, that is only 5,584 megawatts. That is a loss of 869 megawatts in generating capacity with no allowance for three years worth of growth.[4]
But it gets worse.
Texas relies on a total of 21,425 megawatts in wind energy and 3,038 megawatts in solar power.[4] Solar power doesn't work when it is covered by snow. Wind generators have been known to throw Volkswagen sized chunks of ice up to half a mile, much to the distress of surrounding windmills and property owners. Windmills are shut down when icing conditions are present. A very large part of that 24 gigawatts in unreliable green energy was offline during this crisis.
What happened in Texas is just the orchestra tuning up. If we keep shutting down power plants over the climate change scam with no reliable, economically viable sources of energy ready to take their places on the grid, there is no way this is going to end well.

I strongly implore all WA members to vote against the resolution to revoke Northern borland's commendation.
This is a classic example of the cancel culture at work. The small 'f' fascists backing this movement do not like Northern Borland's politics, so for that reason alone they seek to revoke the recognition of that nation.
Stamp out the cancel culture and vote against this [insert common street phrase for the organic waste product from a male bovine here]. page=sc

National Sticky Bun Day
What goes better with coffee than something a little sweet, nutty and possibly oozing with caramel. Yup, you know what we’re talking about. February 21 is National Sticky Bun Day! This delightful confection, a Philadelphia specialty originally known as “Schnecken” are thought to have been brought to the United States by German settlers in the 18th century. Often served for breakfast, Sticky buns are also sometimes known as cinnamon rolls, caramel rolls or monkey bread.
NATIONAL STICKY BUN DAY TIMELINE
18th century
Origins
Sticky buns primarily have German origins, known as ‘Schnecken.’

Hungarian baker Grace Hasz begins selling cinnamon buns daily at The University of British Columbia.
NATIONAL STICKY BUN DAY ACTIVITIES
Make your own sticky buns
Imagine filling your kitchen with the smell of spices and caramel baking in the oven. There are videos and blogs to help you with technique and the recipe choices are endless, so really, what are you waiting for?
Find the best sticky buns in your city
Sticky buns are often a staple at neighborhood bakeries and brunch spots. Make it a Sunday ritual of checking out all the different options in your city until you find the sticky bun of your dreams...then shhh, don’t tell anyone so you can keep them all for yourself.
Explore your options
Sticky buns can be made in a variety of shapes and sizes. Create a giant sticky roll that can be sliced like a cake, roll the dough into balls and pile them into a cake pan for Monkey Bread or stack each slice together into a bread pan to create a pull apart loaf. And sticky buns aren’t only for breakfast. Serve your creation for dessert at your next dinner party. It’s guaranteed to be a hit!
WHY WE LOVE NATIONAL STICKY BUN DAY
They’re the ultimate comfort food
The smell of a sticky bun alone makes you feel warm and cozy in an instant. Whether they are baking in your oven or the smell catches you at your local mall, as soon as that familiar scent hits you, visions of fireplaces and pajamas dance in your head. Then, as you slowly unroll the labyrinth of doughy goodness, the sugar and spices send you to a place of happiness and comfort few other foods can capture.
There aren’t any rules
Sticky buns are fairly easy to make. And there are virtually no rules as to what you can fill or top them with. Warm spices like cinnamon, cloves, or even cardamom are all excellent choices, but you can feel free to experiment with other fillings such as apple or chocolate. You can also create your own sticky sauce using maple syrup or honey instead of plain sugar. Whatever you choose — have fun and enjoy the stickiness!
Everyone loves them
It’s hard to imagine someone not being totally enthralled with a gooey, sticky, fluffy rolled bun. Most people have wonderful childhood memories of popping open a package of store-bought dough, the smell of the baking and the fun of carefully topping each bun with sticky frosting. Half the joy of visiting the traveling fair is hunting down the sticky bun booth and carefully eating your way through to the yummy center. Really, if you ever meet someone who doesn’t like sticky buns, be a little wary.

We simmered them all night long in a secret process (involving onion, jalapeños, and bacon, but shhh), then smashed in cast-iron skillets after the skillets had been used for frying up the crispiest, most golden-brown, thin-sliced bacon you have ever seen. The result is an awesome batch of bacony-spicy refried beans. Remember, a whole egg in every taco!®

A sealed cup of Texas-made Longhorn Cheddar Jack cheese is also included in case you need a double cheese fix. And, a small cup of chopped onions is included for those who should so desire. For your beverage accompaniment, a packet of Sanka, Tang and a Lipton Tea bag will be included with every delivery as well as salt and pepper and a napkin. Yes, it is different, but it works and you do not even have to leave your residence. Woo! And, watch out for the drones! Start your day off the right way; munch out and go back to sleep. Happy Texas Independence Day! For those unaware of the meaning of this day, on March 2, 1836, Texas declared its independence from Mexico and became the Republic of Texas. History was forever changed. For ten years, from 1836 to 1846, Texas existed as a separate and unique nation. In Texas, March 2 is an official state holiday - Texas Independence Day. Each year, there are numerous parades, festivals, and even a complete historical reenactment of the event. Happy Texas Independence Day y'all!
Sorry we did not remind everyone earlier, we are usually off, had to work this one though; a Governor's work is never done.

Happy Texas Independence Day from 10000 Islands! Our diplomatic staff is pleased to present the latest regional report, highlighting XKI news and events from February. Has your region been invaded, or do you want to get in touch with TITO? If so, contact one of the following nations:
~Chief Executive: Markanite
~Field Commander: Kanta Hame
~Tactical Officers: Shy Guyia, Smugglers and Mercs (TITO EF), Controlitia, Wischland
~Executive Officers: Hakketomat, HN67
As of this report's publication, the Government of 10000 Islands consists of:
~Chief Executive: Markanite
~WA Delegate: HumanSanity
~Senior Senator for Blue Canaria North (Emissary Report): Wischland
~Senator for Lyonnesse East (Houses): Aschente
~Senator for New Republica South (Debates and Discussions): Dokansia
~Senator for Himes West (RP): Vacant
~Minister of Education: Free Las Pinas
~Minister of Labor Wille-Harlia
~Minister of Immigration: Margaux
Information about other government officials of 10000 Islands can be found here.
~Following a shocking investigation into Taco Island Mayor Louisistan’s failure to use the official yacht as directed by the Mayor’s Private Yacht Act of 1955, Louis handed in his resignation as mayor. Chief Executive Markanite appointed Tanzoria as the new mayor, to oversee forum spam and games. Thank you, Louis, for your convivial leadership of Taco Island, and congrats Tanzoria!
~Markanite also appointed Free Las Pinas as the new President of the XKI Cards Co-op, after HumanSanity stepped down. As President, FLP will help to coordinate regional card farming efforts and direct the donation of cards to various cultural events and competitions.
~Then Secretary of State Margaux hired Porflox as XKI’s new emissary to Spiritus, Sulenia as emissary to Greater Dienstad, and Eastern New England as emissary to Deutschland.
~The new Minister of Education Free Las Pinas hired Sulenia to serve as his deputy and assist in coordinating the welcome and assistance of new members of the region.
~February’s Featured Nation was Porflox, a newcomer to the islands who has already shown their talent as a recruiter, TITO Member, and the region’s new emissary to Spiritus. Congratulations Porflox, we’re excited to see where you’ll go next!
~Cultural Officer Thedairos announced the Best Flag Competition this February, where members and friends of the region could submit their flag designs via a forum thread or an on-site TG, after which Islanders voted for their favorite design. With 22 gorgeous flag designs to choose from, competition was fierce, but in the end, Grea Kriopia’s flag won the forum competition, and Megistos flag won the on-site competition. Congrats to the winners and a round of applause for all contestants for their creativity and amazing flag designing skills!
~XKI’s Forum Theme Design Competition continued throughout the month of February. Interested Islanders were given the chance to submit their own ideas for a new forum design, in hopes that their submission might be chosen as an actual theme for the regional forum. Four intrepid designers tried their hand at making a forum theme. Free Las Pinas showed an eye for pleasing pink with his Pastel Palms Theme. Pianaville lifted our spirits with their bright Beach Theme and Comfed channeled the spirit of the ocean with their Surf of the Islands Theme. Finally, Silvedania got us all ready for summer vacation with their Sand and Water Theme. The Council of Nine is currently deliberating which of these gorgeous designs to pick, so stay tuned to find out the competition winner next month!
~Perhaps prompted by the new Mayor Tanzoria, there has been a resurgence of spammy chat threads in Taco Island. Chaos reigned as Islanders debated whether or not this is a Starbucks, fired trebuchet projectiles at one another (and the mayoral mansion), and re-opened The Tanzoria Asylum for the Criminally Insane. And yes, the asylum is named after the new mayor, perhaps explaining why Taco Island has been so crazy as of late. Regardless, Islanders new and old enjoyed the excitement and got to spamming like never before!
~In celebration of The Partnership for Sovereignty, XKI, TRR, and TSP joined forces to host a trading card pull event. The event was centered around commended defenders, and participants had the chance to get S1 Improving Wordiness, Ballotonia, and Eluvatar cards. Eager to try their luck, members of all three regions spent the afternoon card farming and opening up card packs, with several participants striking gold and gaining a copy of these sought-after cards.
~Although this is a civil, rather than personal achievement, we wanted to highlight Eastern New England for all the hard work he has been doing lately as the WA Secretariat in issuing numerous WA Proposal Voting Recommendations and Overviews. With every new proposal to hit vote in the GA or SC, ENE searches through forum debate to provide Islanders with a quick, easy to understand overview of the proposal from a variety of perspectives. For political proposals, ENE goes one step further, and coordinates with delegate HumanSanity to issue a voting recommendation explaining why a vote for or against is in XKI’s regional interest. ENE’s work has provided valuable insight into the WA for many Islanders, and truly deserves a moment of special recognition for his efforts!
~Free Las Pinas also put in the work in regard to the WA this month, authoring their first-ever GA Resolution “Supporting People with Disabilities”. After months of drafting and redrafting his proposal about protecting and assisting those with physical and mental impairments, FLP submitted his proposal towards the middle of February. Following an extensive telegram campaign, the proposal reached vote and passed with a laudable 82.8% support. Congrats FLP, and best of luck in your future authorship endeavors.
~Not to be outdone, Noahs Second Country also got to work in the WA, drafting “Repeal: Commend Northern Borland”, pointing out the questionable claims of the original resolution. Although this was a controversial repeal, Noah’s hard work ensured that it would pass, with 58.9% support. Fantastic job!
~Rounding out XKI’s excellent work in the WA this month was HumanSanity. Following a raid on the passworded region The Embassy, HS quickly pushed “Liberate The Embassy” to vote in the Security Council. With broad support from many small delegates and individual nations, the resolution passed with 69.5% support. Congratulations and thank you HS!
A regional poll by Jabberwocky asked Islanders which of a variety of movie villains would make the best parent. Most Islanders weren’t particularly impressed by any of the villains parenting skills and chastised poor Jabber for being insensitive. Those willing to disregard the problems of villain parents, however, decided that Emperor Palpatine would make the best dad.
The RMB was filled with playful banter this month:
~Another month bites the dust!
~And...and?!?!
~Kyle and his hole?
~Z-Day has come early.
~Doctor Who?
~No no, it’s cursed.
~Likely story. I want name, rank, and, Bank Balance.
~Unlimited voting Power!
~Old Folks and their lawns.
~An excellent translation!
With February, came the Poet Laureate Contest. Islanders submitted poems, this time centered on the themes of courage and bravery, which were then voted upon by the region. Aersoldorf’s humorous poem, was chosen as the contest’s winner.
The sun had slipped away,
Patrons thru my door had come,
To hide until the day.
Good food, strong drink and tales provide,
Distraction from their fear,
Yet laughing eyes can scarce disguise,
The knowledge that Death’s near.
The TITO boys were making noise,
A’boasting of past deeds,
As stronger ales make stronger tales,
They’d all been in their meads.
Kanta cleared his throat and said,
That he was bravest, true,
“While you were kicking raiders butts,
I kicked their mamas too”
Kort’s Korner did erupt in sound,
Knights spewed their drinks, guffawed,
Up through the floor came Shelter’s ghost,
The patrons silent, awed.
“I hear ye making crazy claims,
I’ve come to set you straight,
Titanica, the bravest knight,
Would use you for cut bait,
Yet even he, the noblest knight,
Was filled with doubt and dread,
When from the sand a monster plucked,
Its fearsome, fishy, head.
Halibostrichus vampiricus,
Part vampire, fish and bird,
Grub gumbo turned and ran so fast,
A sonic boom was heard,
For 80 days and nights they ran,
No respite, no time out,
When out of breath, the knight did stop,
And turn himself about,
I beg of thee my mortal foe,
A toast to death let’s chug,
But Hakke smiled and said no thanks,
I chased you for a hug.”

Well... I have something to say to all of you here. It's been quiet a some time but still I am not able to keep it with me. So, there has been a big deal all around India and it's Indian/Hindu Nationalism behaviour. There has been a lot of destruction and failure in the region due to the topic addressed. I hereby agrees that everything happened just because of me and yes, saying sorry is not going to get us what we have lost. When Hindu Puri was the delegate of the region, the Government then imposed Hindutva as the region's official ideology and it remained as one till the end of his reign. I was opposing that decision then, but most of you including those who are slowly moving against what happened right now supported the regional Ideology then. I have never imposed any ideology as the region's official ideology still, when I slowly leaned to the right wing everyone started attacking me. The Leftist says "You are a wretched right wing fascist, get away from me.", Whereas some of the right wing says "You are a complete Commie, get Lost." This isn't just what I'm facing, but most of the so-called Centrists face this. Well, I would like to say that I will be resigning from my Delegate post after the new constitution is adopted and the elections are done. It seems I have been a failure, no.. I am a failure. So, anyone can stand for the delegate elections when it's been announced, let it be a leftist or a rightwing nationalist. I'm not going to say anything, elect whom you want to and obey what they say. I will be still around in the region and yes, will be enjoying minimal power as the founder. If you find that someone is misusing the power even if it's me you can bring it up to the founder. Well, after the new leader is been elected I want them to continue with the sports events, The Monthly Tabloid Newsletter, Podcasts, Roleplays and Events. No one should find themselves isolated here. Try not be rude and hyper reactive. Try to act mature and don't get angry for every small thing. Don't eject or ban your opponents or misuse the power. I will be ending this post, by wishing whoever succeeds me All the best.
Regards,
Indusse

The human mind is the thing that can be explored and many possibilities can become reality, but modern science is either ignoring it or has no intentions of considering it. The human mind has 16 dimensions! Psychology has reached this knowledge to some extent but not completely. Today we will be exploring these all dimensions from top to bottom. These 16 dimensions can be categorized into 4 mains. They are ‘buddhi (intellect)’, ‘Ahankara (identity)’, ‘Manas (Memory)’, ‘Chitta (Intelligence without memory, cosmic intelligence)’. These all dimensions together are also referred to as ‘Antahkarana (the inner cause)’.
Now you do have an overview of all, however, we digging more in-depth. The first layer of the human mind is buddhi (intellect). Buddhi is a sharp thing. When someone asks you do you want sharp intellect or blunt your answer will be sharp in the same manner is our buddhi. It’s a sharp tool. It can only cut things and you can’t use a knife to stitch in the same way you can’t use your intellect for everything. Logic doesn’t work everywhere. If you can think a little better than someone else, it is considered intelligence today. If someone says one thing and you can say ten things to that, you may be socially smart, but you are not any more intelligent. Unfortunately, in today’s systems of education and academics, everything is determined by this. If you can make more things out of it, you are considered intelligent, which is not true – you only have sharper buddhi. The buddhi will not take you beyond limits in any way, because it can only function based on the data that is already there. It is not capable of accessing anything beyond that.
The next layer of the human mind is ‘manas’. Manas has many layers to it. But manas is not just the brain – it is right across the body. Every cell in the body has a phenomenal memory – not just of this life but of millions of years. Your body clearly remembers how your forefathers were a million years ago. In every cell in the body, there is memory and intelligence, but no intellect. Intellect is only in the brain. Hence, when a man eats an apple the apple becomes a man and not a woman because the body has a certain memory and not the apple. In the English language, everything comes under one banner called “mind.” The idea that intelligence is only in the brain has produced human beings whose consciousness is seriously constipated. What is in the brain is intellect, not intelligence. Intelligence and memory are right across your body. But people have never been trained on how to use this intelligence. Instead, they use their intellect for everything. No wonder they are stressed out whatever job you give them. The whole weight is on only one dimension of the mind out of sixteen. It is like loading a sixteen-wheeler truck and trying to drive on only one wheel – you can imagine the stress! That is what today’s world is going through. People may be using other dimensions of the mind marginally, unconsciously, but they are not trained to use them. They have only been trained to use their buddhi or intellect. They are very smart. They know everything about everything, but they do not know how to figure their own life. They do not even know how to sit here peacefully and at total ease within themselves. If there is true intelligence, the first thing that you need to figure out is how to make life happen. You know how to make the world happen, but you do not know how to make your life happen. You do not know how to conduct your mind, your energies, your emotions or your body. If you ask people to become fit, they become tight. If you ask them to live in a more natural way, they become fat. Where is the intelligence? There is only intellect. Intellect looks good only in comparison. Suppose you are the only person on the planet, your intellect will not mean anything. Only because there are a few idiots around you, you shine. By itself, intellect will not be of any consequence.
The next layer of the human mind is Ahankara which is translated as ego but it is more than ego. From where do you get ego? You get it from your identity. Ahankara gives you a sense of identity. Once your ahankara takes on an identity, your intellect functions only in that context. It is important to function beyond the intellect because the intellect is seriously enslaved to your identity. Your intellect revolves around your identity. Your identity is a boundary that is set by you and your intellect makes sure you don’t cross the boundary. Our identities, such as belonging to a certain nation, community, or whatever else, are necessary for our survival in a particular society. But you cannot think beyond this because you are functioning only from your intellect, and the intellect takes its sustenance from ahankara. Only along the axis of ahankara, the intellect can function. The intellect cannot transcend this, because that is its nature. But there are other ways to know life beyond the identities we have taken on for our survival in the world. That’s why the first thing we need to realize is first we are human and not a rightist or leftist or socialist or capitalist. When we can transcend these ideologies, religions, castes and be human first that moment we have won a big trophy, but don’t be happy now the journey just begins. The larger the identity you have the better it is. That’s why in this culture students before education began students were told to say, “Aham Bramhasmi” which means I identify myself with the cosmos. And students were taught the same thing until all learned it so that the intellect doesn’t start corrupting things.
The last layer of the human mind is the chitta. Chitta is mind without memory – pure intelligence. This intelligence is like cosmic intelligence – simply there. Everything happens because of that. It does not function out of memory – it simply functions. In a way, what you call the cosmos is a living mind, not in the sense of intellect but in the sense of Chitta. Chitta is the last point of the mind. It connects to the basis of creation within you. It connects you with your consciousness. Chitta is always on – whether you are awake or asleep. Your intellect comes on and goes off. Many times it fails, even when you are awake. If Chitta or the intelligence within you was not always on, you could not stay alive. Try to conduct your breath with your intellect – you will go crazy. Chitta is keeping you alive, keeping you going, making life happen. If you touch this dimension of your mind, which is the linking point to one’s consciousness, you do not even have to wish for anything, you do not have to dream of anything – the best possible thing that can happen to you will anyway happen. Your Chitta is your destiny, if you get it then it is a great achievement. You can even be the master of your destiny. There is a yoga offered by Isha foundation known as Chitta Shakti, by it, you can be the master of your destiny, Keep in mind it’s a powerful tool use it wisely.
Scenes from Minneapolis. Sorry, I didn't have a chance to edit them down. Way too busy.
Place reminds me of the DMZ between the Koreas...

Trivia: The people putting up the interior fencing are the same people who built The Fence of Democracy around our nation's capitol for the inauguration. They rent the stuff out. Who knew one could make a living off all those peaceful protestors.
ITB, those peeps look like Prison Builders setting up the Maginot Line complete with razor-wire Blood Gutter that can be hosed-out overnight. Just what are they loading for bear against? Have we missed a news story out of Minneapolis? Or, is this just the "new normal" for government buildings? The Capital of Texas may not be surrounded by razor-wire, but guards with long guns are still everywhere.
