Well.....I wasn't expecting such a response from Issues Test Bed! Therefore I will reconsider my previous threat. But I am still suspicious of anyone that seems to endorse the Orange Man from Hell.

Basically you move your puppet to the allied region and make yourself known as the TX Ambassador. With that nation you can interact on their message board and generally keep an eye on things.

2. As a college student I've got time constraints and probably won't do a good job as Ambassador. :(

Thanks for answering my questions. I asked in case anyone else is interested and hope someone will step up to the plate and apply to be the TX Ambassador.

Judging from your Factbook entries, your leader and country are based on Game of Thrones and you’re probably a medieval civilization. Why do you need starships?

Update on Verner’s condition:

My Lord has upper body, ambulatory VA-ECMO cannulation and that was what allowed him to be awake on ECMO. He is able to be mobile and receive active physical exercise while still on ECMO when his heart condition stabilized. His heart condition is now stable since he has stopped going into cardiac arrest for more than 72 hours. Prior to this, he averaged 4 cardiac arrests a day since he was hospitalized except on his birthday, February 1. That day he had 9 cardiac arrests in a single day, was defibrillated by his Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator each time and spent most of his birthday being given the Therapeutic Hypothermia treatment. Fortunately the ECMO provided him with full cardiopulmonary support since the first day he was hospitalized, except during open heart surgery when he was supported by the cardiopulmonary bypass machine. So we hope he has no brain damage.

Since Verner’s heart condition is now stable, he was able to begin his first “ECMO Walk” by walking slowly down the hallway while still on ECMO for the first time this morning. He was supported by his ECMO team who moved his ECMO life support machine, IVs, portable monitor, oxygen tank, etc along with him. He was able to walk 10 circuits of the hallway before he became tired. That was good considering he has had a serious heart attack and subsequently been bedridden for a long time. When he returned to the ICU and was helped back onto his bed, my lord was smiling for the first time since he regained consciousness from being comatose. He said the physical exercise made him feel alive and he did not feel like giving up and dying anymore. He’ll continue to be given this physical exercise every day until his heart is strong enough and he can be weaned from ECMO. We hope that will happen soon so he can get out of the ICU.

We are doing our best to support Verner. However, I’ve failed him. I’m not just my lord’s wife. I’m his primary care physician and primary cardiologist too. Last year I failed to persuade him to have a coronary angiogram that could have detected this blockage and prevented his heart attack this year. I tried more than once to persuade him that he needed to have a coronary angiogram. We had several arguments because he did not believe it was necessary for him to have the angiogram as part of his check up. He won the final argument by saying he was a fit and healthy young athlete with no known family history of heart disease. I’ll always be extremely sorry because I let him win this argument. Because as a result he almost died and is now a heart patient and heart attack survivor. :(
