Aizo has always existed in the RIA, and did not warp in like the Mifan empire. It has simply been hidden from the world through the use of technology. Aizo has been at MT and slightly PMT for 500 years, but hid its advancement from the rest of the world. They isolated, and scientific advancement stopped. Aizo has remained unchanged for 5 centuries.
Reason For Waking
Aizo watched the outside world very carefully during its time in isolation. Seeing that the rest of the RIA has caught up to their tech level, or just about, they have decided to join the world. This is the first time Aizo has ever interacted with others.
OOC Facts, to get their own factbook at a later date
General Facts: Aizo is based on a mix of Imperial Chinese and Japanese culture. They ethnicity of the nation is 100% Asian, to be expected. They are peaceful and spiritual. The Emperor or Empress is the holy leader of their religion, Zu Bao(To be fleshed out at a later date). They believe in the rights of all people, unless those people prove that they can not handle rights.
Location: A large to huge sized island, the Island of Aizo. (Location on map is not known yet)
Military: Smaller compared to some, but incredibly skilled.
Economy: Fairly capitalistic, but it is regulated.
Governmental Organization: Aizo is Feudal
Fauna: Many mythical creatures inhabit Aizo. The most important being the Dragons and the Wyverns. The difference is very important. Dragons are normally friendly creatures that live in peace with humans. Think traditional Chinese Dragons. Wyverns are similar, but are not peaceful. Despite being aggressive, they mostly keep to themselves. Think Dragons from Skyrim. Both forms of flying beast are incredibly intelligent, some even claim they are sentient though no proof of that has been found.
Geography: Mountains streak across the valley, with large peaceful valleys in between. Beautiful rolling fields. Think Japan.
There is probably a whole lot more to add here, but I have hit a wall for the moment. There was 0 planning put into this, I just decided to do it during school today. (April 9th 2018) If anyone is actually interested, check back here every now and then. Of course, each of the topics mentioned above and more will get individual factbooks that go into much greater detail about Aizo. Early one morning on an ordinary day, something rather abnormal happened. The Mist that covered Aizo for 5 centuries dissipated. It happened faster than one might believe. At first, there was the Mist, as Mist that no plane or ship ever emerged from. Then, suddenly, the Mist was no longer there. Instead, in its place, a massive island sat. The generators that created the synthetic mist had been turned off. A single message was broadcasted out, on all channels from the island, "When the mist clears, the sun will shine through."
”Glad you like it,” she answered sarcastically. Karla’s smirk turned back into a scowl. “Now answer the question. Where. Is. Jake?”
"In chains, awaiting his trail. A trial that will no doubt end in an execution."

Karla was stunned. “Execution? He only stole your father’s device, threatened to shoot you, and then actually shot me! They execute people for that’s in your country?”
"The honor-less crime of theft is one of the worst you can commit in this nation. Threatening a Lord of the nation, or any citizen really. Attempting to murder an honored guest. Yes, he can be executed for his crimes. It is up to me, in the end."

IC: Yohanna Delacruz waited to greet them at the large private airstrip near Darian Genetics headquarters. She had always been against building clone armies, as they had been proven to be unprofitable in the past, but with the sudden interest of the militaristic and clout-wielding Mifan Empire had changed the economic calculus. Luckily, they had kept the R&D teams responsible for perfecting large-scale cloning operations. All that was needed would be to fire up the new pods.
Karla didn't know how to respond, at first. "I... I need to go visit him. He is still my friend. Is there any way you could arrange this?"
He nods and stands, finally looking back at her, "Yea, come with me." He leads her down a path through the woods before stopping in front of a heavily guarded small building, "He is in there. Lets go." He takes her inside and leads her to his cell. He sits inside, his face bruised badly. "He tried to escape a day ago."
OOC: Just gonna presume she changed into some clothes between then and now. :P
IC: Jake looked up from the floor of his cell. "What the f_ck are you doing here?"
Karla turned back to Connie, ignoring Jake for a moment. "Could you leave us, for a second? I'd like to talk to him in private."
He points to a camera, "There is no privacy, but I will leave. I'll be back in 5 minutes."
When they get closer to the island, a dropship descends from the sky. It overs above them and the side door opens. From inside, a man calls to them in a strange language, "State your affiliation and intention, please."
Imagine the language as sounding very similar to Japanese, but not.
