ok
Does anyone have a good tundra or frozen location. I'd like to introduce Overman and I need a good tundra for that
OOC: I mentioned a Sith warship making contact with an American cruiser. Seemed like the most likely way you would find us.
OOC: that works, no worries
IC: The American ambassador enters the hall, along with an entourage including a small diplomatic corps, a mob of press, and a number of armed security guards. He shakes Tarrea’s hand, and the camera flashes illuminate the room.
“Lady Tarrea, on behalf of the Federation for American Restoration I would like to say it is an honor to meet you. I am Emmanuel Warren, the appointed ambassador to your nation. If you ever need to make contact with the States, you can always reach out to me.”
”Very well. We shall establish contact later. Please remained tuned to this channel.”
Later, an official diplomatic missive was sent via the State Department, asking to organize the arrival of a delegation and the establishment of an embassy.
I just don't care for the "sneaking around" scenes when it's nothing but sneaking around. They're kind of dull.
I'm interested in when 724 reaches inner areas, where he might find Sith, and where he might find the information he was looking for.
"It's good to meet you as well," Tarrea says, though she looks mildly uncomfortable about the number of cameras. "I'm not used to diplomatic meetings being attended by the press... but that's alright. It's something of a historic moment for both of our nations, after all."
"We're willing to provide all the help we can," Tarrea continues, taking a seat. "As a start, this is a map of our world... from what I understand, it's all new to you. What do you know about how you got here?"
"You've both exceeded my expectations already," the Highlord says. "I was prepared for two arrogant children. You've proven to be quite the opposite."
He thinks for a moment, tapping a hand against his armrest, then continues.
"You're right on both accounts. I could absolutely kill you both, right now. But if you attempted to retaliate, the collateral damage could be immense. I can't expect you not to instinctively lash out in self-preservation. Besides..." He frowns. "The Holy Church would prefer to avoid a reputation as a child-murdering cult."
"We could confiscate the focus," he adds. "That's an option you didn't mention. However, we don't understand how this focus works. Separating it from the one it has bonded to could be disastrous."
He sighs. "So I suppose I've forced myself into taking the last option." He looks at Leonora. "You will remain in Argo, where we can keep an eye on you. I'll have you instructed in how to use the focus properly. As your skills develop we can determine how to proceed." He turns and looks towards Pavel. "You... may stay, if you wish. However, you aren't the one bonded to the focus. Ultimately, the choice is yours as to what to do from here."
*The action is allowed and a officail meeting delegation is organized consisting of General Copper, the head Scientist Dr. Frappe, and the Diplomat Furry*
After seeing Jiren's backstory I realized we're about see the best Batman Vs. Superman fight in history.
“I think I’ll stay here with my sister. And what about Emil?” Pavel asks, gesticulating. “Would he be allowed to stay here in Argo?”
*The fascist army had the actual army part and a massive amount of conscripts. They needed the motivation that came from telling them that every "soldier" that fell back would be gunned down. This made a certain group of men mad and they ended up killing their right and fair commisar! The men who did the killing disappeared and the others were put into a penal unit. This causes a even further gap between soldier and officer.
(I know I'm kinda RPing your nation here but it's a lot better than a bunch of questions and gets to the point)
*In the Frosteine region or Aetaris a person went into the harsh snow looking for a legend. Supposedly according to a local bartale there was a gaint medal dome in the middle of the frozen wasteland. He didn't know why he wanted to find it but he did, and he did eventually it was hard but eventually he found it. It wasn't a dome, more like a cylinder. When he touched it parts of the metal began to resend, showing a screen. A robotic staticy voice said "You are without evil in your heart, you are worthy.". The screen began to clear and it showed a being inside it. It had spiky hair styled to look suave, a black tail, and otherwise normal human features. It looked sleeping and then suddenly it's eyes shot awake*
Would you like to take over the guy now?
*
Oh thanks
The Highlord considers this. "If he wishes to," he says, "certainly. Argo isn't our city... it is a part of Aetaris like any other."
This is why I shouldn't go camping...
(Ok)
*The man backed away in shock, the creature moved and appeared to press a button on the inside. The pod door slowly opened in a mechanical way. The creature reached out and pushed itself on to it's feet*
"I suppose we are," the Highlord responds. He turns to Teriv. "Arrange someplace for them to stay."
"Oh," he adds. "One other thing. I consider my terms to be quite reasonable, but if you decide to break the few rules I have set in place... we'll revert to our less pleasant plan. Understood?"
“Yes, Your Holiness.” The two Bulgarians bow their heads at the Highlord, before standing up and walking to Teriv.
”And what would this ‘other job’ be?” pushed Master San.
”Daojia is a fine nation with a rich culture and history. A large, hardworking population guided by a strong and intelligent state. We have a diverse and powerful economy, a formidable military, many advanced technologies, you name it.”
The ambassador adjusted his glasses. “Well, I don’t know anything about this Devils Hand business, but I am sure that martial arts contest is a sight to see, no?”
