It becomes more effective to study business when you can make money off of the military industrial complex, so fewer students take the empty basket weaving elective, you have fewer basket weavers, and the sector tanks.

Climate alarmism draws attention away from overfishing, habitat loss, endangerment, poaching, and plastic in the ocean. What gets more clicks "The earth is going to DIE, if we don't start getting serious about climate change [or whatever they want to call it now]" vs. "The ocean is filled with micro plastics and we don't know how to fix it", "The fishing industry is spelling its own doom with overfishing and the governments helping", "Animals are losing their habitat [in some far off country youve probably havent been too]", "The only effective way to prevent poaching of rhinos is to montior them for poachers 24/7 with guys with AK-47s if there is a poaching attempt", etc.

That's what I thought. I still think climate change is a pretty big deal, but that shouldn't overshadow everything else. Like cancer research. Yes, breast cancer is a terrible thing to happen to anyone, but not ALL of the fundraising should go to it.

"I'm sure you'll be getting that big trophy, if your BBQ is as good as previous years. Let me know if there's anything you need during the festival. And remember, we're having a big party on the last evening of the festival, so make sure you stop by the main tent! Might you have some other friends who would like to join in the festival - we have a few open lots/locations for some more nations. Good luck!" Clive shook David's hand and hugged him before turning around and walking away, his skinny, nervous assistant following his every move.

A large and crowded stand was nearby the square, and smells from spinach, to honey, were emanating from it. The Byzantine cuisine stand had had been set up a few hours before, but it was already attracting a large crowd. Tens of people were sitting around the tables, with foods ranging from moussaka to banitsa.

Iceland-greenland union

About a dozen or so Iceland-Greenlandic citizens, wearing white shirts with the flag of the IGU on the chest and a picture of the Possibility lander on the back, drive trucks carrying car-sized boxes. They all stop in an area with relatively few people, and carry the boxes from the trucks to the ground. They open up the boxes, and push the contents into a row. The contents of the boxes were life-sized replicas of the Unity rover, the Oasis rover, and the Possibility lander. They plant a sign in the ground that reads "IGUSA - Paving a Path to the Future." One man from the group puts a table next to the spacecraft. The table is covered with cookies shaped like spaceships.

Well, alright. I think the governments and NGOs are able to deal with multiple issues at the same time (quotas still exist in the EU at least), though you apparently disagree here. That's fine, I'm not interested in huge debates at 4:30 AM either.

As Clive Fenton was walking the Channing Park grounds, he was passing by The Byzantine Cuisine stand and couldn't help but stop by for some authentic moussaka. "We are so happy that you all have decided to attend the festival this year - I know our people are happy to have your here, too, especially because your food smells and tastes fantastic. Welcome to Channing Park and thank you for coming!"

"Oh, it's nothing. We here don't mind giving our time to introduce people to Byzantine cuisine." Dmitri Vassos says. "My name is Dmitri, and what's yours?"

The Ushukahnti has approved a law that reinstates trial by combat in cases pertaining to agreements and payments.
Three scammers were tried in this manner soon after the law was reinstated and will be handed over to the local prison after they are discharged from the hospital.
Two of them are currently on life support while the third is in critical condition with five broken ribs, a major concussion, both femurs fractured, and the left arm amputated up to the elbow after being split while the other arm is being held together with stitches, staples, and pins.

We have something similar, but nothing extreme. Often local officials double as referees and local arenas that are often little more that sand pits and gardens decorate our cities.

"Well, we never expected this many people to come to our stand, so if you could get some more fresh ingredients, that would help us a lot."
