so I have to write a paper for a class, right

it has to compare and contrast two things about the ancient Mediterranean+Middle Eastern world, so I chose Celtic society with Roman/Greek because duh

I finished up the first section, just looking at the Celtic society, at 2361 words.

teacher wants 2500.

I think I might be going slightly over 2500.

Not much to do here I suppose...

Still, I suppose this area is fine to build my necropolis.

I will need to barrow some corpses from all your local cemeteries. Any objections?

There's some crucified skeletons we've been meaning to get rid of for about 50 years now

I am more concerned about ethics and social policies, but if you want to talk about Europe, i don't think setting fire to a suffocating child is gonna help it
get any better.

How so? The most competent (in my opinion) candidate won the first round. The controversial (far?) right-wing nationalistic candidate only got second place. Were you hoping for Melenchon or something? He literally wanted to join Cuba's and Venezuelas club of countries for some reason, and create a 100 % tax for all income that is higher than 400,000 (meaning no one would be able to make more money than that). Tell me how those are good ideas?

At this point I've stopped caring about Europe to care

That's the second round. The first one is to eliminate all but two candidates.

At least someone knows that cuba and Venezuela are literal hell holes with no human rights, food, qaulity medical care, and are run by dictators.

Well you don't have to tell that to me. Venezuela is essentially a failed state by now, and Brazil is struggling to cope with its own refugee crisis now.

I thought was already a failed state. Geuss it's only a few years away from becoming Somalia 2.0 anyways so it doesn't matter.

Indeed, i am a supporter of Jean-Luc Mélenchon. His 100% tax idea, while a little extreme in my taste, is a good idea to prevent fiscal abuse. *ahem* Balkany *ahem* Fillon rends l'argent *ahem*

There is a whole "omg his comunisttt!!!" stereotype around him that scares a lot of people. However, he's one of the only candidates that didn't want to ally with Putin, and the only one i've heard that condemned the hypocritical alliances with Saudi Arabia. Mélenchon's program could have helped l'Education Nationale, which is in a pitiful state (Being in a French Junior High, i can guarantee that) , by reducing the number of students, raising the number of teachers and "valorising" (I no spéaque Anglishe véri goude) this profession. He could have pulled us out of Nato, have given more powers to citizens, have made politics more equal between men and women. He could have been a barricade against the wave of right-wing populism that is hitting us. He defends Laicity (True Laicity, not "We have christian heritage so f**k Laicity when it's about christianity" Laicity.) same-sex marriage, and the recognition of transgender identity and dignity. Melenchon could have destroyed the status Quo, and created a new republic that would have been more direct, more transparent, more efficient and more moral. But the people chose otherwise.
