Latest RA Discussions for those not on discord:

1. When should regional elections be held?
It has been proposed by a few nations that the elections for the General Assembly Delegates of each region, as well as the elections for the General Secretary, should be held every three months. However debate ensued about how elections would be conducted, ranging from interregional political parties to field candidates, to a voting bloc of parties from each region proposing candidates on shared ideologies. What do you think? What does your region think of these interregional parties? What do you think of the schedule?

It has been suggested that each regional GA Delegate numbers be increased from one delegate to two seats per region

What do you think? Should we raise the amount of reps for each region from one to two members? Is that too much or too little? What is your proposal?

We are voting on the membership of the region The Confederacy of Aligned Nations

I would request the Regions Assembly to think of an official forum, which will include:

1. Voting Booth, where only certified nations will be allowed to vote.

2. Database, gathering all the archives and data of member regions.

3. General Secretary Office, a platform for official announcements from GS's office.

4. Regional Headquarters for different member regions, a separate thread for every region to post official statements.

5. A general discussion platform, where everyone can discuss general things.

6. Chamber, where only certified Government representatives can discuss things.

I agree.

The Confederacy of Aligned Nations believes that the regions themselves should have authority over determining the means they use to appoint Delegates. For example, the Confederacy already has a lot of elections so itís easier for us to appoint a Delegate (and our Chancellor has authority over that).

However, some regions would work better with a more direct democratic appointment of their delegates, hence why I believe it should be left to the discretion of the regions.

Hmm, that is a good point. Perhaps mention it to the general assembly. I can see that as an option if regions want.

I really like that idea! That can surely be an option and as RA Secretariat mentioned to you to please point that out on our discord.

I have noticed that there has been a region under the false assumption we will be changing immigration laws

I would like to clarify this is not true in any sense of the word. There was a proposal to allow regions to unite in a dual citizenship program, voluntarily. There would be no requirement of law change.

That is sad to see false information campaigns make their way through this institution.
