United Calanworie <3

I purposefully do not link my nations so that I have the ability to separate my "player" and "mod" personalities when I want to.

Heavens, there's a lot of text on this region page now

DutchFormosa wrote:I know this doesn't really apply here, but congrats Refuge Isle on becoming a forum mod!

Thanks for the well-wishes!

DutchFormosa wrote:Okay, sorry for doubting your mod status. I'll just not say anything if I think something is off, unless it's something major of course.

That's not what I wanted you to take away from this exchange but okay I guess.

While it it beneficial for the child to have both parents around, I feel that arguing and tenseness could be worse for their mental health. Even when attempting to hide it, kids notice a lot more than parents believe. Good welfare is a bonus though :>

As long as there aren't any consequences!

Yeah personally I wish my parents would have gotten divorced years before they actually did. My life was always much better when only one of them was around.

i gave up on conlangs
had to satisfy myself with a simple alphabet for use with english instead

Does anyone else have a language for their country? (that you can speak fluently) :)

Making our monarch Refuge Isle a forum moderator is the greatest decision ever made in the history of the universe. When archaeologists in a thousand years dig up the Nokia that Max uses to host the server, almost all data on it will be corrupted. But one tidbit will live on forever: That Refuge Isle was made a forum moderator and that this decision was very, very, very good.

Yeah! The third official language for Sylh Alanor is English, which I've painstakingly developed and become fluent in.

Oh so itís your fault.

In all fairness, I wrote lots of Elvhen in official dispatches, but people didn't seem to understand stuff like "Leth'all'eni i banal'halam ar bel'annar'is. Ha'lam var'glandivalis i aran'ena'sal. Dar'eth shi'ral, lath'in."

What did the English do to you? 😨

All my countries speak English, for pracftical reasons. Just like everyone, including the aliens, in Star Trek all speak English.

That's ok, I usually avoid linking my nations to one another unless it comes up for some reason or other. It just doesn't make sense for me to link them, RP-wise.

P.S. I'm not a mod or anything, just an ordinary old-timer.

This is true and might be best demonstrated in the 37s episode of voyager: https://youtu.be/KRnRszarHRw?t=116

When you and your friend figure out what's holding back all the knorks and spifes, let us know.

The knork would be great if executed well, we should step forward as a society and start producing knorks
