- The Lottery of All Things III: The Search for Spock
Refugi:
Is the mafia chasing you down for bribes?
Do you owe money to the IRS?
Have a tribe of Huns raided your gold stores?
Never had a legendary trading card before in your life?
Well shucks howdy let me get you squared away with that last one!
It's time once again for an aggressive take of wealth redistribution. Namely, mine! The Endotarting Programs are intended to guarantee rewards for all those who give it a go and want to help our region prosper. But lately, competition has been fierce, as more and more Refugi are proving themselves to be the top endorsers in the world. The last threshold that players ended up needing to hit was 94% of possible endorsements! That's incredibly difficult. So what do you say we try something a little more manageable?
It's time for another round of The Lottery of All Things!
My deck contains some of the rarest and most valuable card-based treasures on NationStates. But instead of exploiting the working class, the bounty of this profit was ethically sourced with mechanical exploits and my own lack of a life since December of 2018. All that mindless, soul crushing work developed a deck which presently contains over one thousand legendary cards. At this point in my life, I think that you guys can make better use of these cards than I can, so why don't we just give a whole bunch of them away.
On July 13th, the glorious region of Refugia will conduct the Lottery of All Things III, where every Member State endorsing the delegate is guaranteed to win a random legendary card from my deck. What sorts of cards are in here? Well, every single legendary card that has ever been released by NationStates. Some of these cards are worth 16.00 bank, some are worth 800 and automatically award a top 1% International Artwork badge. Every legendary card that I have is on the table, including ones that only have 60 copies in the world, including cards that would break my collections because of their scarcity. Everything is possible in the Lottery of All Things.
All Member States endorsing the delegate WILL be entered. What is a Member State? It is a resident of Refugia which has lived in the region for a week or more and is a member of the World Assembly. We'll be conducting the lottery on July 13th, which means that you have but four days to join the World Assembly and endorse the delegate, Sylh Alanor, in order to be qualified for a guaranteed lottery reward.
If you're already a WA nation endorsing the delegate, you don't have to do anything but wait. You're already entered (or you will be, if nothing else). There are presently an incredible 130 Member States who are already automatically qualified at the time of this writing, but another 29 who could be qualified immediately by endorsing the delegate. It's going to be a lot of cards, but your endorsement can make sure there's even more given away.
- Conclusion
Great news all. After less than two short weeks, the Lotter of All Things III: The Search for Spock has come to a close. With it, the greatest volume of richest ever has been relayed to those nations who are helping to keep Refugia strong and steady. The first Lottery of All Things, which took place around a year ago in August, gave away about fifty cards, but our World Assembly powers have certainly grown since then, and now we're giving away close to three times that. Pretty incredible.
So, around 5pm Pacific time, the following drawing was conducted. Congrats to all the winners!

I’m not 100% sure either but I like to imagine it’s people just weaving baskets and selling them to people. My great great grandmother used to do that.
She was a member of a native tribe and it was her way of trying to keep the tribe’s traditions alive in the late 19th and early 20th century despite the government trying to wipe them and their culture out. She incorporated traditional designs representing various woodland animals that were important to them into her baskets. My family still owns a few of them, but most were donated to a museum.
The art of basket weaving died with her as none of her children were able to learn due to being sent to government Indian schools. I like to think that my nation never tried to force people to assimilate and basket weaving just became a major source of revenue as a result of tribes continuing ancient practices, albeit for a different purpose in the modern era.

When you were a lil kid, did you do something to annoy other kids and be obnoxious?
Personally, I'd tell people to say "look at that big gas truck" while holding their tongue so I'd sound like they said a no no word and then they'd be all sad.

I was a big fan of "spell icup" as a small person.
The big thing at my elementary school was: “Are you smart?” “Spell it.”

I don't remember a single habit but I used to be VERY annoying to my brother's friends and made a lot of poop jokes that I am so ashamed of
