Ankou island

Thank you to so many of you from Refugia who have signed our petition to ban real life fascists and neo Nazis from NationStates. Nations from Refugia have been by far some of the biggest signers of the petition.

Cheers,
The Langburn Islands

I like that answer. It's really wholesome

Notice:

The candidacy period for Councillor of Foreign Affairs has concluded. I have received only one valid candidate declaration, delivered to me in #ground-floor of the Discord server. By no contest, Pantala and Pyrrhia will be the new Councillor upon conclusion of the current term, on the 14th of February at midnight. In lieu of an election, we shall distribute supplies from the strategic chocolate stockpile.

I would like to thank Sylh Alanor for proving to be a top-tier FA Councillor the last two terms, and for all the vast sums of work that went into building the embassies we have now. I would also like to thank her for building the Foreign Affairs dispatch, so wonderful and informative, which will be passed on to the next Councillor, as well as providing all of the regular FA updates to allies over these last eight and a half months.

I have full confidence that Pantala and Pyrrhia will do a fantastic job and we will all be around to help figure things out.

-------

The next election will be in five-ish days to elect the Councillor of Culture.

Congratulations Pantala and Pyrrhia on your nomination for foreign affairs counselor! I look forward to seeing how Refugia grows under your influence... And it's encouraging to see newer nations running for positions! ^-^

Thank you so much Araine! Iíll try my best to do well in the new position!

I highly recommend the Councillor of Interior position. It's a good low-energy, yet still important, Councillor position which will help you prepare yourself for other Councillor positions you may be interested in but don't yet feel qualified or experienced enough for.

I'll be releasing a Councillor of the Interior dispatch before the end of the election for Councillor of Culture.

That I remember? Probably cold spray shots. Not fun, do not recommend. If Iím talking pain over time definitely breaking my arm tho. Mostly cuz I walked around school for almost the whole day after I broke it like yeah it just hurts, the fact that I canít bend my elbow without dying is totally okay. I think I ended up going home when I was trying to write with that arm and every time I moved my fingers it was like searing pain. I think my teachers were like pls go to the hospital my boy. Was anyone else the ďMeh I donít wanna bother anyoneĒ kid? Cuz like that was definitely me

I bet it would be the time I bonked the back of my head so hard it had to be stitched up. Not sure because I was young so I don't remember.

I have a genetic disorder which is extremely, extremely rare and because of that I have many health issues, one of which being my bladder. I had to get a needle stuck up a... well... unconventional spot that inserted a long tube going far up all the way to my bladder, then filling a balloon inside it with liquid. It was the worst thing imaginable. I would have rather gotten heart surgery again, or had casts on both my legs for 6 weeks again but... it is what it is.

Probably the times my lungs have collapsed. Genuinely unlike anything I had before experienced, and it has led to mild panic attacks whenever I become short of breath.

Welcome The peoples country, Los monos locos, and Resplendent Devotion to Refugia! I hope you enjoy your stay. If it applies to you pay attention to the rest of this message:

Eh... I would assume it was when I dropped a rock on my finger once and broke it, but I was only a toddler, so I don't remember it, so I can't say for sure.

When I displaced my collarbone after I had heart surgery. It felt like my whole spine was dislocating whenever I moved my head or arms wrong.

Last year I had a toothache from an awful cavity and bacterial infection, that led to headaches, earaches, and more all compounding together. Eating hurt because my teeth kept clacking together. It was hard to even swallow sometimes. I couldn't lie my head down on that side, but lying on the other side also hurt. I couldn't brush my teeth, and I was limited basically to mashed potatoes, applesauce, and yogurt. I was crying, like, daily for a week.

Eventually I got the tooth pulled, and some antibiotics, but Jesus. I never want pain like that again.

Kraljevstvo Rata wrote:Question of the Day!

Probably getting mauled by a dog when I was seven.

In lighter news,

Notice:

Today is the last day to get your endorsements out for the endotarting competition. The top players who have given out the most endorsements will receive a MV 40 legendary card, so toss out some endorsements on people, particularly the delegate, Sylh Alanor, so we can build votes and influence \o/

I shall dispense prizes this time tomorrow.

Kraljevstvo Rata wrote:Question of the Day!

Boring answer is probably when I had a tooth that broke and couldn't get a dentist appointment for a week. More exciting answer is probably when I was ten and went down a slide holding a metal pole, which hit the ground before I did and jammed me in the eye. It took a while for them to realise I'd cut my eyelid but somehow my eye was okay, but I still had to wear an eyepatch to school for a few weeks and got made fun of for it.

Kraljevstvo Rata wrote:Question of the Day!

Slipping on a rock at the beach which resulted in a deep scar.
