We have been attacked! A wolf in sheep's clothing infiltrated the government and assaulted the very core of our nation. There is no excuse for this slip, the monarchy and its claims of meritocracy have left us vulnerable to outside subversion. The international elites play with the masses like toys in their wargame. It is because of these injustices that I solemnly announce my candidacy for the fifth seat of parliament. I will launch a crusade to rid the government of other sleeper agents and ensure that the people never suffer again.

The RMBG will be conducting an official, independent investigation into last nights drama to determine the exact nature of events.

At this time, we are also NOT calling for a new war with Lasagna. Facts must be determind as there is reason to believe this was not a military action but rather a minor treason by a native official.

In either case, we echo Youtoepias sentiment that a closer scrutiny of our elected government is in order.

My campaign was already posted awhile ago, and this startling attack certainly warrants further investigation. As a relatively new member of this region, I do realize I am likely under suspicion as a Lasagnian agent. I will submit to scrutiny freely if this assuages anything, although this is an online game and it is easy to hide true identities. Given this fact, and my new member status, I will still run for Parliament, but discourage other candidates from backing me as Chancellor. I am backing Papir republic for Chancellor this term.

On a lighter note, I have an idea that I hope Balder doesn't mind if I recommission for this region: "Ravana Plays NS." Me, or some other nation, would create a new nation titled: "Ravana Plays NS," and we would all vote on which course of action to take on the issues. We could use short polls, discord, the RMB, or really anything. This was really fun for the time it worked in Balder, but the government got bored of it after a few issues. I believe that this could be a fun activity booster, as well as insight into who we are as a region.

Look, I'm not going to endorse this political absolutism. You have been critical of the government since day one, I suppose you have finally found an issue where you can rise to the top of. I won't speak for Papir, and this circumstantial evidence certainly warrants further investigation. That said, I am weary about citizen vigilante groups accusing each other of foreign sympathies. We must set up a commission to investigate officials in a procedural and unbiased manner.

I will be running for chancellor. At this time, I think a less controversial figure is important for the smooth running of Parliament.
