For over a year, the Northern Sunderland region of Browzantine has been in a state of rebellion. So far, over 10,000 Royalist Browzantine civilians have been massacred by the rebels. Browzantine has been in a state of civil war for almost 13 years now. In the last update, it was mentioned that there was a plague spreading across the country along with a famine in the midlands. In good news, the famine has disappeared almost entirely. Otherwise, the plague las only gotten worse. After weeks of research and cooperation with our Novapax allies, Browzantine scientists have identified this disease as COVID-19 or Coronavirus. King Edward has taken swift action to combat the virus including asking the rebel leader for a six-month ceasefire in properly combat the virus. Fortunately after weeks of negotiations and countless deaths, the Royal Government and the rebels have agreed to a two-month ceasefire which temporarily ends all military actions on the two sides.
Since the ceasefire, the royal government has announced that it has enough tests for all of it's citizens to take and will continue to produce more tests until the Kingdom is free of this deadly disease. Starting today, the government will hold a daily press conference to give updates on the country's fight against coronavirus. The King has issued nationwide orders for the people to cease all non-essential travel, all non-essential contact, and gave orders to close the nation's schools. The king did not issue a stay-at-home order or an order to close businesses saying it should be up to the local noblemen to decide what is best for their lands.
Starting today, the Browzantine Royal Government will be holding a daily press conference to update the people and the world about Browzantine's fight against Coronavirus. In good news, the famine affecting the Midlands has gone away and the Civil War is temporarily in a ceasefire.

This has been an extraordinary few years for our nation. We have been through the bloodiest battles, faced the toughest of enemies, and the deadliest of famines. Now we face an even more dangerous enemy:Coronavirus. We cannot see this virus, we cannot stop this virus, but we can protect ourselves and your fellow citizens against it. We can do this be following the my council’s recommendations to slow the spread. This includes, social distancing, washing hands, and staying home. These recommendations are not only for protecting your life, but also everyone else’s life. I will admit, it will be tough. But every fight we’ve been through in these past few years we have came through stronger as a nation. Lives will be lost, loved ones will pass, and this can all be prevented by taking the simplest of steps.

Taeseon Navy to support Taured Naval Forces on the Divinistani Blockade
It has been a few days since the Blockade against United Taured, as Divinistani Government announced an show of force to the Novapax Community, by conducting a naval blockade. The Taeseon Government protested the militaristic move, as they were voting for Economic Sanctions against the 'Holy Empire' of Divinistan.
The Taeseon Armed Forces had also announced that they were standing alongside United Taured, in an attempt to peacefully end the blockade without bloodshead, as the Armed Forces mobilised 2 of the 3 Fleets from the Northern Coast Command, to assist the Taured Navy against Divinistani Naval Forces.
The Taeseon Government had also announced that there were been no cases of COVID-19 for over 2 Weeks now, as there was no reports of any further cases. It came after a successful Public Health Campaign against the Virus, as the Taeseon Government had announced that they will be allocating K|300 Billion Kodeuldeus (339.9 Billion US Dollars), into the development and testing of the "Potential Vaccination Candidate Program".
The Taeseon Government has also go on to allocate K|640 Billion Kodeuldeus (725.12 Billion US Dollars) into Stimulating the Taeseon Economy to come out of Semi-Hibernation Mode, as the Taeseon Economy GDP had grown only 0.04% in the First Quarter of 2020.

With many novapax nations sending military aid to United Taured, and knowing full well that Divinistans blockade of United Taured would be obliterated if any hostile action took place, The God Emperor of Divinistan has taken a new direction. According to the novapax map, there is an unclaimed archipelago just north of United Taured.The God Emperor has ordered his blockade to disband and dock at the unclaimed lands. There He is planning on setting up a Divinistan puppet state and coverting the natives of the lands to his religion by force if necessary. This puppet state will act as a military outpost for near future conflicts with United Taured or any other novapax nation who dare interfere with God's plan such as Browzantine, Wolfranya and Genkiana.

Today, during a press conference at the Royal Palace Princess Margret along with her Minister of Defence stated: "Although the rouge nation of Divinistan made a wise moving by lifting their weak fleet from our shipping ways a new threat has emerged, The UnHoly Empire of Divinistan has begun a project on our northern archipelago to build a military outpost that directly threatens our sovereignty along with our dear friends to the east Taeson which will not be tolerated."
Princess Marget also said "If Divinistan builds on that island we will have no choice but to respond, and I don't mean with words. As it stands our fleet along with our allies will remain as a blockade, our tariffs will remain, and our sanctions will remain and will not be lifted until Divinistan halts its hostilities". Earlier today a military parade was held in the Capitol to show the might of our military although it was closed to the public it was streamed live on Tauredian News.
Reports have come in that members of the Royal Tauredian Army and Navy has activated its reserve personnel. Military bases in northern Taured are active and the Navy is on high alert in the northern seas, it's reported that Princess Margret has called a press conference with Browzantine, Taeseon and Wolfranya to discuss the next course of action.
Cases of COVID-19 have not been changing, and restrictions on District 1 are to be lifted in mid-June.

According to figures released from the Ekozian Government in correlation with figures from the Ekozian Health Organisation, the country has had no confirmed cases of COVID19 for the past five days. This comes as Prime Minister Ingirsol announced the potential of a nearly complete easing of lockdown within regions of the nation. The country has seen a significant decrease in deaths with nearly two thirds of the Ekozian population now being tested. PM Ingirsol's approach to combatting the pandemic has seen his approval rating with in the nation soar up to 65%, up 33%. The Prime Minister is set to address the nation live on Friday evening to set out the next steps of opening up the nation.

With one of the highest daily tests done in ABEN, it is no surprise that there has been a spike in cases today. ABEN has finally crossed the line over 10 million tests and hopes to reach 18 million tests by the end of June as a Union. Looking deeper into the national information, the cases of individual nations within ABEN are similar to that of the nation of Browzantine. Browzantine last reported 99,738 cases, with Nightom reporting 99,565 cases today and Britonisea (without Aloquirbe) reporting 99,158 cases. Today marks the first day ever that Nightom has more confirmed cases than Britonisea, showing how rapidly the cases have been increasing in Nightom. In Britonisea, there has been a total of 78 deaths reported, the highest total since the 18th of May. It has been suggested that this could be Britonisea's third death wave, with one coming every two weeks. It has also been one week since the lockdown restrictions were put in place, and that controversial "Free day" at the end of April which scientists warned would case a spike later on down the line.
Meanwhile Divinistan has been causing international drama, demanding that the COVID-19 vaccine that Wolfrenia has allegedly made be "destroyed". COVID-19 has killed more than 45,000 people in Novapax, including over 500 deaths in Ekoz, nearly 9,000 deaths in the ABEN Union and United Taured respectively, over 26,000 deaths in Browzantine and many more. ABEN Union has denounced Divinistan for their part against the fight to rid of the novel virus. Divinstan has stated that they will be travelling to the archipelagos near United Taured to claim in, keeping an eye on Genkiania, Wolfrenia and United Taured. The archipelagos is home to Bryone Islands, which is home to over 1 million Estogian people, but is also a large ABEN military base - one of the furthest afield of ABEN's abroad locations, as far as the island East of Wolfrenia (and maybe South of Browzantine*) The army that is already there has been put on alert, with more ABEN military heading to Bryone Islands as well for precautionary measures.
ABEN Union leaders have called to discuss this matter with neighbouring nations, with the Union showing support for those against Divinistan. The Union is pacifist and would rather not go into any sort of disagreement, but the Union will do anything to protect its citizens and the community around the four nations.

"Although Divinistan is a newer nation, we must show the nations of NOVAPAX that belief in me and God will make any nation prosperous beyond any comprehension. "Tell the holy Armed Forces in the northern archipelago that more aid is on the way, and force the natives of the islands to convert to our religion and fight for us, or burn in Hell for eternity!" demands the God Emperor. "United Taured claims that archipelago belongs to them! According to the NOVAPAX map, the islands are unclaimed. If United Taured engages my Holy defense forces stationed there, then United Taured will be the aggressor! All of NOVAPAX must realize that United Taured is a greedy and sinful imperialist nation that must convert to the Divinistan religion or face complete and utter annihilation!" Shrieks the God Emperor.
More weapons, soldiers, and construction material is getting shipped to the northern archipelago to continue to fortify the islands, build up a large military presence, and build 'churches' to convert the natives to the Divinistan religion. Missionaries and religious advisors are spreading propaganda all though out the archipelago to drill into the natives heads that United Taured is the devil's nation, and that Divinistan has come to rescue then from eternal damnation and give them everlasting holiness.
After hearing the news that the islands are actually occupied by ABEN and has around a million Estogians, the Holy Armed forces decide to concentrate all their forces on a small beach head an create a small but highly fortified fortress. This fortress is only around 6 miles long and includes a beach area and the surrounding land. Instead of trying to convert the natives to their religion, they have forced all natives and Estogians especially out of their small occupied land. Trying not to provoke ABEN especially, the Holy armed forces are staying put and constructing a fortress which will act as a small military base and a small Divinistan community.

In a speech, today at the Royal Palace Princess Margret states: "United Taured doesn't own the northern islands, when we meant (our), we meant our allies island because we are all considered one." Princess Margret continues to giggle while giving her speech "Demon of Divinistan, you would be invading another nation's land which we will not stand for, you keep making these threats when you would be utterly destroyed but United Taured's and our allies have no interested in war. The people that praise your heresy are brainwashed, your religion is dead and has been for a long time, the only thing that comes from it is the horrible past, how can a country that praises God be so hateful.
Divinistan, don't invade those islands it would be another stupid move." We spoke with the defence minister and the blockade and military are still active and on alert, we were told that a thermonuclear weapon was detonated west of United Taured and the minister of defence stated: "This was just one of the tests of our nuclear weapons, we do these every five years and this was no show of force with current events that are currently happening just unfortunate timing, I along with the young Princess want these aggressions to stop but as I said this was NO SHOW OF FORCE."
In other news, Prince Mother Elizabeth (Princess Margret's Grand-Mother) celebrates her 105th birthday! Citizens from the all-around United Taured celebrated by leaving hundreds of thousands of flowers in front of the Royal Palace and during the night fireworks lit up the United Tauredian sky, may she live for 105 more years!
The "Princess Margret's Royal University of Science" has officially opened and is expected to be accepting applicants January 1st of 2021, this is another great stride for the brilliant minds of United Taured, the Princess is expected to visit in the upcoming weeks.

Royal council addresses Divinistan’s aggression
Today in a 9-0 vote, the royal council of Browzantine voted to place wide reaching sanctions on Divinistani government officials including the “Holy Emperor” himself. This comes after days of threats made by Divinistan to Browzantine and our allies. In a previous statement, King Edward III warned Divinistan that if they did not back down, sanctions will follow. Today, Browzantine responds to the unwarranted and unprovoked aggression by Divinistan.
In a joint statement the council said, “These measures are meant to show the government of Divinistan that the Kingdom of Browzantine will not be pushed around by the barbarians that run that country. Browzantine will address any challenge to it’s authority as a statesman and mediator. If the barbarians continue their pointless war-mongering rhetoric, Browzantine will continue with more sanctions and tariffs.”
These sanctions will specifically target the bank accounts in Browzantinean banks held by any government officials in Divinistan. These sanctions are also barring any Divinistani government officials owning property on Browzantine soil. The officials already owning property will be given one week to vacate their property and sell them at half price. These are be far the toughest sanctions ever enacted by the Browzantinean government to date towards another nation.
The government of Browzantine is willing to lift the sanctions if Divinistan backs down from their rhetoric and ends their feud with our ally United Taured. Browzantine would prefer not to further engage in pointless feuding but is willing to defend our ally. Therefore, the offer to lift the sanctions will stand for 24 hours.

Prime Minister Ingirsol released a statement this morning regarding the ongoing tensions within the Novapax Union. Available online via the official Govenrment website, lagenshuset.ez
"This region has already been tried and tested enough in dealing with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our people have sacraficed so much to control, contain and defeat this virus. An escalation in conflict is not what this region needs at the height of this pandemic.
I urge nations of Novapax to call for peace during this difficult time.
Ekoz, throughout history, has always remained a neutral nation within the world, and in Novapax. Our psyche is to remain liberal, tolerant and peaceful. We will not respond to these escalations with military force. However, due to the relative threat to the nation's safety,The Ekozian Government and I are in complete agreement that should this tension escalate further, and move into any illegal annexations of land within the region, I may have to respond with sanctions on our neighbouring nation Divinistan, our border may close and trade will cease between our two nations.
