Well, not much to say really. We lost an additional two nations, which also happened to be WA-members!
Although the number of inactive nations rose from 4 to 7 since January 1st, I'm quite confident that we won't be seeing further crashings for a while; as those who still reside in the region are fairly active (some more than others lulz).
Lets make Nordic Lands grow again!!!
Hey guys, thanks to a handy TG from 
Vaesland that reminded me I didn't have any official rules posted regarding the map (other than the 14 day rule), I decided to write a draft of map rules that I'll post as a factbook in a few seconds. Feel free to check it out and give me suggestions, let me know if I'm being too harsh/lenient with certain rules etc. Once we reach an agreement on a good set of rules, I'll pin it to the Nation Factbook page, if everybody's okay with that!

As per request of the Royal Cartographer, I, the unofficial regional demographer, have screened the map for now defunct nations.
I thought I'd let you all know that I have suggested the removal of Bastionian Republics and Esthmark as it doesn't look like they'll ever return. Thoughts?

Map Update
Esthmark, Bastonian Republics, Democratic Lynka, and Norveigh have been removed from the map.
This might not be a bad idea. I've had several people TG me in the past asking to be put on the map before their 14 days were up, and even after I asked them to TG me again in a week they never got back to me. I think being able to be on the map earlier might give people a reason to stay and feel like they can be at home here, rather than forgetting about NationStates all together before their 14 days are up, or moving to a new region where they can instantly be on the map. The 14 day wait time is good for ensuring that only dedicated people get a spot on the map, but right now I think we need to focus on recruitment and giving people a reason to want to come here at all before we can worry about how to keep them. This might be a good poll topic once the current one is done?

Here a secretary general from the communist party (I voted them in the last elections) gave a fictitious well paying job to one of his family members, I am somewhat surprised, given that the communist party was one of the least corrupt parties in the Portuguese "Republic", I lost all few delusions I had in this matter, I guess as a friend of mine said, "the sh*t is the same, only the smell changes".
