Not within the game itself. We should do an event as a region though. *pokes Reeve of Culture Woodapple*

We all do it.

The first Vaklian war was fought between March 18th of 1914 to June 19th of 1923. It was caused when Doronese naval vessels bombed the western tip of Verrisia. Following this, 60,000 Verrisian troops were sent to the bombed area to defend in case of a Doronese attack. This was also when the Verrisian Chancellor, Peter Lorrenik, declared war on Doron. 3,000 Doronese troops attacked the bombed area though they were repelled. However, 7,000 Doronese troops managed to set up a beachhead north of where the soldiers were positioned. Fearing another attack and wanting a quick end to the war, 10,000 of the 60,000 troops were sent to recapture the beachhead. They were successful in this and following it, the Verrisian chancellor gave Doron a peace treaty, which Doron refused. Doron then used seaplanes and their battleships to attack Verrisia, though they did little affect.

King Carl Lancer (Doron)

Field Marshal Shia Brewster (Verrisia)

General Of The Military (GOTM) Runalk Beskirtz (Estorotona)

Field Marshal Calvin Craig (Doron)

The Eyrynian Front
Verrisia and Doron both had territory in Eyrynia at the time. So fighting happened there also. The Verrisians controlled the north and the Doronese controlled the south. A massive trench line was set up and the front there devolved into trench warfare. The First Battle of Delta in 1916 happened when 70,000 Doronese troops were sent to attack the city of Delta in Eyrynia. This was considered the most brutal battle of the war with sizable deaths on all sides and immense civilian casualty. It resulted in a Doronese defeat and the force was sent back.

The Island Front
The islands controlled by both nations didn't see much fighting through the beginning of the war, but in 1917, Doronese troops attempted to land and capture Bag Rombaka, an island on the north-west coast of Verrisia. This resulted in less brutal but still rather gruesome battle which the movie "Where Men Cried" was based off of. About 75% of the attackers were killed, wounded, or captured while the rest managed to escape.

Estoro Front
In the early parts of the war, Estorotona economically and diplomatically supported their longtime ally Verrisia but didn't fight Doron. But when the DS Lancer battleship sunk the battlecruiser EGS Beach, Estorotona declared war on Doron. In response, Doron sent a force of 12,000 men to capture the island which had a military of 10,000. However, this attack failed due to 3,000 Verrisian troops aiding in the defence of the island. They also participated in the 3rd Battle of Delta and the landings in North Doron.

Doronese Front
Doron wasn't a major front until the late war, where the island was invaded. It was forced into guerrilla warfare following the defeat in the south but they didn't last long, especialy when they ran out of ammunition and their headquarters fell off a cliff in a landslide.

References In Media
Many media pieces were made about either the battles or the war itself. Notable ones include "Where Men Cried" which was a movie about Ron Croun, an officer in the Verrisian army that fought to the death when their small outpost manned by 100 men was attacked by a force of 2,000. Another one is "The Battle Which Didn't End" which was about the 1st Battle of Delta. "The Battle That Didn't End" was a book about Urnalk Ronik, a soldier who fought in the battle and father of the director.
