did we even have an active admin to enforce it
I was online when I could.
I was preoccupied with other things. Apologies.
I apologize for inadvertently suppressing this post. I was unaware that I did so.
At this point, it wouldn't be worth it to hold on as we have a lack of members. I will advocate for an appointed council, however.
If we go with an appointed council, will it still be an IC as well as OOC government?
It's better if it is appointed because if there is barely anyone participating, nobody is even going to bother to try to run for a position.
We do have people running just none face opposition
The current Security Council provides one seat per continent. Unfortunately there's usually only about one interested nation per continent at the moment, so very rarely are there times where nations have to compete with one another to enter government. (Also, no one seems to be running the elections; our last one was ages ago.)
My question was relating to the fact that the SC is an in-character as well as out-of-character government model. Will an appointed council also be an in-character organization, or will our in-character nations still "answer" to the Security Council?
The concept of the appointed council is to get around the requirements of the Security Council. This is only because we have very low regional membership currently. Once we start things back up and gaining more members, we can effectively dissolve the appointed council and hold an election.
To answer your question: The appointed council would be a temporary patch to our system or basically the Security Council with a different entrance for members. So it would be both IC and OOC.
I agree, just take a look at the polls, only three people responded.
How should we appoint then?
I was going to suggest that the president do it, but the most recent president CTE'd soon after being elected.
As Snarfia is back, they may be the best person to decide who gets on the council. IIRC, the World Alliance Headquarters moved to Mosnarf after the most recent election, as well, so it wouldn't be too difficult to imagine Snarfia taking over the international government IC, either.

So how does the policy system look folks, I like mine as its fairly accurate
For the sake of accuracy can we have a puppet region
Or we can have members declare their puppets that currently reside. Doesn't hurt to have some extra numbers here.
